Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I have an idea for a 3rd Reunion movie. Before Rosco died, he could've made out a will leaving Enos or Cletus Boss Hogg's empire upon his death. Enos can be the Sheriff/Boss/Commissioner now, with Cletus as Deputy. Or have Cletus Sheriff/Boss/Commissioner with Enos as Deputy. Bo, Luke and Daisy can be married with little Dukes of their own who have grown up and come to Hazzard to help the Dukes, Enos, Cletus, Cooter etc. to stop Hughie Hogg from taking over Hazzard County. Hughie got word from his goons about Uncle Boss and Rosco being dead, so he returns to try to take over as Sheriff/Boss/Commissioner.

Okay, Johnny Knoxville is Always going to be best known for his MTV series Jackass and Jackass The Movie. Now ive seen his parts in Duces Wild, MIB 2, Walking Tall, Gte Shorty. He really isnt that bad of an actor, Suprisingly! However a bit of a persons personality Always leaks into the character at hand. And dont be so swift to judge. Hes an Actor. Actors are meant to totally change image, personality & speech (sometimes accent too). Bottom line we Know Luke was the mature one of the bunch... Can Knoxville pull it off? im gone. -Brad

Not sure if this was brough up yet or not....haven't seen it here...but browsing over at IMDB.com and they had some casting information in there I had not seen yet. The main surprise was Lynda Carter of Wonder Woman fame. She is in the movie as Pauline, I believe. A couple of other folks who I had not heard of before...but there is a picture of a blonde girl on the main page who is in the movie. Anyway, didn't know if ya'll knew of Wonder Woman being in the film....

They should make a family friendly Dukes prequel about Bo and luke getting into run shine in their teenage years. have Tom Wopat be Uncle Jesse and have a real cast unlike 2005's movie.

If this new "review" of the movie is true, which I doubt, there's alot of inconsistencies. First, the person says that the car starts off orange with different fonted numbers on the doors, but the flag isn't on it until after the first jump when it's wrecked? It's not even called The General Lee unitl some hillbillys help fix the car and that's when the flag is painted on along with "General Lee." Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Cooter supposed to be the one fixing the car and painting all the logos on? This of course after they bring him a BLACK charger. Have bought the DVD and scenes are changed somewhat. Does anyone know where I can get a dvd of the movie as it was shown in the theaters?I was an extra in the movie and scenes I was in were changed on the dvd I found in the stores.

Other Things happened in Hazzard, likewise there were other people living in Hazzard. Think there ought to be a movie of what the other folks in Hazzard were doing etc. Also While everyone knows the General Lee, did you notice at the few first episodes, Cooter while working in the junk yard drove Starsky & Hutch' Red Torino, with the white strip down the side. Speaking of Cooter how come no one has put up a photo of his tow truck? Both the blue and white one as well as the yellow one?

Some people have disliked the cast since the day that Stiffler and Jackass where cast as the the Duke Boys. But the truth is the problem isn't the cast at all. The problem lies in the director and how he wanted the the charactors portrayed. Unfortanatly some of the new charactors had little or no resemblence to the originals. I think the cast did their best at playing the charachtors the way the director wanted them. Its no secret that when this movie got the green light some of the biggest names in hollywood wanted to be a part of this movie, so as fans along with people in general, many of us had had high expectatations for a really good cast with BIG names. Dug this one up from the March 28th issue of the "Star" celebrity mag. Says here, Jessica worked out six days a week with a personal trainer, in order to fit her buns into the Daisy Dukes package. That's terrific, but has she ever watched a Dukes episode? Hmm. On an aside, the article goes on to quote the movie release date as June 24. Not sure if WB has actually locked this down yet; we've heard different dates thrown around since this magazine hit the shelves. Brian

Hey all! I love this site! Even though I didn't care for the new movie 100% (except for the General, of course ), I found a Charger close to where I live. I "might" be getting it. However, it could use some work. So, "if" I get it, I kinda liked how the General looked before his make-over. So, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the 01 decals they had at the beginning of the movie. Were they painted on? Where can I get the decals if they were simply decals? I have a different idea for a dukes of hazzard movie. what about having the original cast but also have the children of bo and luke. They are in there mid 4os so they can have children of their low 20s. i think that would be cool.
