Jay said Willie Nelson is singing the theme tune. (The one that sounds the same as the tv theme tune from the tv show, not the rock one by cage 9. ) and that he is also the narretor. I think after seeing the trailer that he is re-doing the theme tune. I still could not be true.

When this movie started to film back in November 04. Alot of people on this web site said this film would be crap and that it would be a big flop at the cinema this summer. Now that they have seen the trailer they have said this film will be great. Who can you tell if you have not seen this film.

It is a karaoke signing contest being held in New York City on Thursday, June 2nd for the chance to win two tickets to the world premiere of "Dukes of Hazzard." Apparently, airfare to LA, hotel stay for the night and ground transportation to the theater is part of the package. And get this...TOM "Luke Duke" WOPAT is one of the judges. I'm buying the 1975 movie Moonrunners and I going to watch the new Dukes movie. I've heard that Moonrunners is horrible, but I also know that Moonrunners was the inspiration for the Dukes of Hazzard. With all the hype that is going on with this new movie, I'm starting to feel like this movie will be a real turd. I thought, to make things interesting, I would watch both films and see which one has better characters, better car chases, and, pretty much, which one is the bigger disappointment. If you've seen Moonrunners put in your two cents.

I was just going through some old Hot Rod magizines and remeberd the one with the starsky and hutch terreto on the cover from the movie I wondered If Hot Rod would do a cover page article based on the General Lee and other cars / stunts in the movie. It would be a great promotion for the movie. Im shure the editors wouldn't heasitate to do a cover page article if they had the chance
