Just to let ya'll know, "Scott", who is one of the folks who posted info about the Dukes movie during filming - is okay! I've been worried about 'em, along with all our Louisiana cousins. I just HAD to mention this!! I don't hardly ever get to do it but I'm enjoying The 4 ( 5?) Best things In Life right now! 1. The Dukes of Hazzard ( Two Too Many Rosco's ) 2. It's Friday! 3. For a long time now I've tried to convince my family and friends that the Dukes of Hazzard is not a ficticious television show with actors. It's reality. There really is a Hazzard County and all them folks you see on it were just being themselves while they were being filmed....just like on modern reality shows. After all these years I finally heard a quote that proves it. (I've heard this quote before but I guess it didn't sink in) It comes from Luke and it's when a Hollywood producer was trying to get the Dukes to come to California to be in a film. When browsing the article linked on the main page (the Basset Hound article wherein Flash is honorably mentioned) I found a link to the name Rosco P Coltrane. Of course I clicked on it, expecting a brief commentary on the character, the show, and the actor. Instead I was greeted by an indepth, accurate-to-episodes page all about Rosco P Coltrane himself. I'm new here and a long time Dukes Of Hazzard fan!

We've been recording Beverly Hillbillies lately and got lucky yesterday when they aired the very first episode. The writing was fantastic. It seems like the older the episode was the funnier it was and the first is hilarious. They start out with them driving into Beverly Hills for the first time and then they back up (the truck then literally backs up) to show the viewer how they ended up leaving their shack.

Put on One Armed Bandits and re-live the thrills of that first episode that launched the careers of some of its actors, gave us a bright orange stock car named the General Lee and gave kids something decent to watch on television!!! Hi fans, New forum writer here. I posted in another section saying that I am new here, but have been watching the show since it was new on TV. I have met Tom Wopat in person while he was doing a show in Michigan. I asked him if he is doing anything with John. He didn't know. That was back in 1989. (Tom freguents a theater in Augusta, MI) read about it on a website!!! The theater is only 1 hour drive from me. So, right now...I want to find out if anybody is traveling to Cooter's place to meet any of the other characters? Let me know..

Many years ago, when I was a teen I ranaway from home, to follow a dream. Caught the Greyhound bus With seven dollars in my pocket, Most who knew me then called me Cheryl Lockett. I went to Hollywood to be amongst the stars, Walked the Boulevard dodging rich man cars. I got in trouble trespassing on a Warner Brothers set, Went back again on a homeless buddies bet. Motorcycle cop approached me, my heart skipped a beat, How would I have known, a Duke I would meet. He offered me his friendship,I excepted with a smile, Saved me from the cop, we visited for awhile.
