During the Dukes movie promotion, and recently I have heard a form of the Dukes theme that really rocked and was updated...can anyone help and tell me who sang it? Skyler Vanseenie was laid to rest this morning in Hazzard County Cemetary. Police say bad brakes caused him to loose control of his car sending him into Hazzard County's Lake. His writer has given it thought and is saying goodby because of some past events that are at the moment effecting home life. Good luck to all, and best of luck with your writting. In addition to being a Duke's fan I'm also a BluesBrothers fan, I've always wanted to see a race between Bo and the General Lee and Elwood Blues and the Bluesmobile. Two great cars a 69 Dodge charger and a 74 Dodge, who do you think would win this race if it took place ? I can't choose I like them both too much to pick a favorite.

At the very beginning of each episode, this awesome theme plays during the 20-30 sec string of preview scenes (before and leading up to the Just the Good Ol Boys song). It varies over the years, and I think the later seasons (namely s7) is the best. I've been searching for years and no CD or pay mp3 site has this track. Does anyone have any leads as to where I could get this? Thanks! John

Hi everyone! Im a big Dukes Of Hazzard fan, and recently I have been playing Rigs Of Rods (http://rigsofrods.blogspot.com/) For the game there is a General Lee (hooray). It is modelled off a Dodge Challenger though, so I have been altering it to make it look a bit more authentic. It is the wrong shape, but I just want to capture the spirit of the car. Hi, I am wondering if any of you here on this board no anything about this metal plaque of the General Lee. They are signed by Tom Sarmento and there are only 750 of them. It is It is 18 3/8" Long, 5" High and 1/8" thick metal. Thank you for any info on this.

I just don't understand CMT. They are now rerunning old episodes of Roseanne. Why would you do that but drop Dukes of Hazzard? Where is the consistency in their policies? I realize that it's their station and they can do whatever they want but geeez! Bring back the Dukes.

I couldn't find where your seldom mentioned characters post was Roger, so I just put this here. Charlie Wooten had just painted double lines on a dirt road and the Dukes crossed the freshly painted double lines in " Pin the Tail On The Dukes." I can't remember Charlie anywhere else but I'm sure the Dukes knew him from way back just like everybody knows everybody from way back in Hazzard! ( This is one of the things I like best about the show and about Hazzard!....kinda like where I'm from!) In this episode, I can't remember where I've seen him before, but the guy who played Hector Farley, looks familiar.

We have a debate going on here at work but a friend and I are pretty positive that we remember boss hog having an english bulldog. He was white and very fat. He was Boss Hog's baby. Watching "The Great Santa Claus Chase" makes me think something was cut out on the DVD. During the opening before the theme starts Cletus says, "is nothing sacred", then during the episode the scene is never shown. Anybody else catch this? Atlfan

Greetings from Hazzard Tn. I'm planning to buy my copy of Season three @ Dukesfest, provided if Cooter's Place or somebody sells them out there. Now there is something I have to know and if anybody can respond before Friday, I would be most grateful. CARNIVAL OF THRILLS: Is this episode in its original 2 hour movie format, or is the episode in its daily syndicated 2 parter format? The answer to this question will help me know what to expect when I view the episode, plus it will give me an idea of what they will do with the 10 Million Dollar Sheriff in the season four boxset. Hi Everyone, I'm brand new (literally) to posting in the forum, but I have enjoyed reading them for quite a while. I'm not sure if this is a proper place to put this, but I hope that it is. I spotted a General from the 2005 (and 2007) Dukes movie at the 2009 Car Craft Nats in St Paul, MN. This General was the car that did the drifting scene all the way around Lee circle and was also the only 4-speed car used in the movie! He was also used in the scenes at the end banging fender-to-fender (and door-to-door) with the black Shelby Mustang. He now has a different passenger door, but the rest of it is as it was on the movie - roll cage, hand e-brake, and painted on dirt! …

I don't think it was ever mentioned but I imagine we could take a decent guess. It's probably in a range of 300- 3,000. The reason I gave such a wide range, is because of the time it showed the Hazzard Co. high school cheer leaders, football team etc. To have THAT many kids at that certain age, you'd probably have to have a few thousand people in your population.
