Hi All, I'm new here! I am arranging a Dukes of Hazzard 40th birthday party for my dear hubbie in 5 weeks time. I am getting a big canvas banner made to look like the "Welcome to Hazzard County" sign but I haven't been able to find an actual image of it - can anyone help me? I want it to be as authentic as possible. I have confederate bunting, confederate flags and a big flagpole, a dozen strawbales, moonshine punch etc etc all sorted. We are even going to have our bright orange 1970's VW camper van dressed up as The General Lee's big daddy! I am going as Daisy, my hubbie as Bo, our son as Roscoe and our 3tr old daughter as a young Daisy! Its going to be great fun but …

Howdy folks... I have a query that hopefully someone in the same situation can answer... I am desperate to get hold of a copy of 'The Dukes' cartoon series on DVD & it appears that it is only available in the States...! Does anyone know how I can acquire a copy? Hi y'all... I was wondering in the 1st reunion movie they said that the Double Zero was the first car to ever beat the General Lee in a race. Does anyone know in which episode this happened. I've seen all 147 episodes but don't remember having seen the Double Zero before!

Where was the DOH filmed at in Cal? Are there any pictures of the sets as they were then and now?

Alright Hazzard experts, I've got a trivia question for ya. What episode is it that has Bo and Luke in jail and they use their fishing poles to reach the keys and escape? Please help me out. I have access to the seasons on DVD but this is more efficient than watching them all through just to find this. That'd take...many days. Hey guys, I can't believe I just noticed this one and I can't believe they didn't re-write the script, unless they did it as a joke ( I feel there's a lot of stuff I see on the show, that HAD to be a joke among cast and crew.) I was watching this last night. Remember when Loretta Lynn was kidnapped and they were taking her to that barn in an RV? She threw pics of herself out the back window, so someone would find them and follow them to her. However, the blue car that the crooks were driving pulled into the barn immediately after the RV did. WHY DIDN'T THE CROOKS IN THE CAR NOTICE SHE WAS THROWING OUT PICS OF HERSELF???

Recently, I've been watching a lot of "Americans React to" videos on YouTube. In the ones I watch they're mainly reacting to British/Irish TV shows and stand-ups, but a few are more general videos looking at the differences between us, i.e. two nations divided by a common language. It appears that while the Brits and Irish have been consuming US TV shows (Dukes included) and cultural reference points for decades, the exchange doesn't get far in the opposite direction. Remember that murder mystery I was mentioned in a the Tom Wopat forum I was directing? Well, it was a HUGE hit. Our acting troupe was actually HIRED to perform two more this year. Being hired out is a first for our club. As this that ain't enough, I've been chosen to be the tech director/stage manager of our big performance of Comedy of Errors early next year. I know we all have all the episodes and the reunion movies, etc., and I guess everyone is about like me. You go through the seasons 1-7 and then back around again, but do you have some episodes that you really didn't like or maybe you just didn't like them as much and so you skip over them, so while you've seen some of them dozens of times, some, you've only seen a few times?

I know an elderly lady who just started using Facebook and wasn't very good at it. When she announced the death of someone she posted LOL at the end. Needless to say she got a lot of concerned responses. She then explained that she thought it meant Lots Of Love. Who remembers that hilarious commercial from a couple years ago with the old ladies "That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works!" when one unfriended the other? The funny thing is that when I saw it I didn't know what "posting something to the wall" meant. When it was explained to me it was even funnier. '

I just HAD to mention this!! I don't hardly ever get to do it but I'm enjoying The 4 ( 5?) Best things In Life right now! 1. The Dukes of Hazzard ( Two Too Many Rosco's ) 2. It's Friday! 3. For a long time now I've tried to convince my family and friends that the Dukes of Hazzard is not a ficticious television show with actors. It's reality. There really is a Hazzard County and all them folks you see on it were just being themselves while they were being filmed....just like on modern reality shows. After all these years I finally heard a quote that proves it. (I've heard this quote before but I guess it didn't sink in) It comes from Luke and it's when a Hollywood producer was trying to get the Dukes to come to California to be in a film. rewatching the episodes lately, I've notices several "timeframe" errors. firstly, in happy birthday general lee its supposedly 8 years prior (1976) they got the general. also, in that episode daisy supposedly starts working at the boars nest. in the one-armed bandit episode luke & bo got caught a year prior 1978. in daisy's shotgun wedding daisy says she's been working there 6 years. that episode was released in 1983. that would mean she started in 1977. in play it again luke daisy says it's been 7 years (1977) since luke had seen candy (did he see her after he got out of the marines?) i know all these aren't important i just thought they were interesting.

Not sure how many UK Dukes fans there are on here - but earlier today I caught an advert on Bravo over here advertising the Dukes. Hurrah ! I hope they get to show them all , strangely we don't get CMT over here on digital TV and yet when I had analogue Satellite we had it ??!! I'm very pleased with this news, so maybe I'll get to see (and tape) all those episodes I haven't seen for 20 years plus ! Does anyone know if they will go ahead with Season 5 on DVD ???? I guess they would have to have Coy and Vance on the box surely ??, or maybe just the supporting cast ?? does anyone know yet we're still waiting for Season 1 but it's going to be out following the movie...
