Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion

A while back I came across a website that had a lot to do with The Dukes of Hazzard. Featured on that website was a build for someone that had recreated LEE 3 not a model car but a real General Lee. It had tons of information and pictures. I can't seem to recall what the website was. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Y'all... On YouTube, when uploads are made, I wonder if Jack Himes is TV Stunter? Because the individual Dukes of Hazzard Seasons 1-6 are TV Stunter. But the giant compiled list Seasons 1-4 together that is like 600 something videos is by Jack Himes. But the videos say TV Stunter on them. Is it possible Jack Himes is the real identity or that it's a separate person and the list has TV Stunter because the content was originally uploaded by that name?

Hi, I was just wondering if any of you knew the specific make and model of the lightbars used on the Sheriff cars in almost every episode (save Million Dollar Sheriff).

Y'all... This Blue car in the episode Enos in Trouble driven by the Emerald thieves who want Enos's footlocker because they hid the Emeralds in his flashlight, the Yellow car in The Great Insurance Fraud driven by the "flim flam lady" Lavinia is it the same car?

There have to be some CB radio enthusiasts out there- anyone ever pay attention to the CB radios used on the show? I'm sure somebody has pegged the kind used in the General Lee, but what about other characters? The patrol cars, Jesse, Cooter, Daisy, etc.? Also, the CB base stations at the Duke farm, etc. I'll start off: I have only looked into one, and that is the base station used in Cooter's Garage. Its a radio shack REALISTIC TRC-432 NAVAJO CB base station (with the brand name blacked out with black tape). Can anyone provide episode titles that feature Cooter's brown chevy tow truck? I believe its just season one but I could be wrong. I know its featured heavily in Repo Men, but I need to know the others. Thanks in advance for any help! Mark

Remember when they brought in the box of shirts "Hogg's Fight of the Century" ? either just a few on the top really said that, and the rest of the box was just shirts.... or, the whole box was full of those shirts.... now, Im just curious, where did those shirts go? and also, like, in other cases, you see like various stuff in the background, just random stuff, J.D. Hogg this, and J.D. Hogg that, and on and on. .. . . . all those episodes, all those tiny details in the backgroudns, in office settings, and outside places as well.......... where did all these small things dissappear off too?

Hey y'all I was watching RIP Henry Flatt earlier and noticed a flaw in the slaw. Outside the Boars Nest,when Rosco is arresting Daisy for having the casket in her jeep,take a look at Boss Hogg"s caddie. Now notice in the next scene how Boss is giving out to Alex about allowing the Dukes to put the casket in his back seat. Bo and Luke apparently managed to put the casket from wherever they hid it to the caddie's back seat in a matter of seconds.

I have a suggestion. Why don't we have a Dukes Of Hazzard Holiday? We could decide what day it will be and what we will do to celebrate the greatest show ever to be on TV. We could celebrate it every year....same day, month etc.

This one should been the one put out in the theaters. Better cast. General Lee was great. Bo(Jonathan Bennett)and Luke(Randy Wayne)look like Tom and John.

Greetings from Hazzard Tn. Well, my biggest predicition for the show has come true. I anticipated that the first four seasons would make it to DVD in boxsets. Now I'm wondering about the remaining years of the show and I was wondering about your thoughts as to what you imagine will happen. I'm going to jump ahead and cover the 6th and 7th seasons of the show first. I could imagine a 50/50 chance of seeing the last 2 seasons on DVD. The only drawback is that those two seasons were relatively weak in comparison to the first four. Even though both seasons produced to some unforgettable episodes, there also some sucky ones too. Why in the opening credits of the show they put Tom Wopat first and John Schneider second? The alphabetical order is usually preferred when actors playing the main characters are equally famous (or actually also unfamous!). So what's the matter here? Was Tom slightly better known than John, who i know was totally unknown?

Does anybody have feedback on the various DVD sets for the series that are available? I see a set from 2020 that is in Wal Mart and Amazon that looks like this: [ And another that looks like this: Is anybody familiar with both sets and have any feedback about the difference? I've heard that one of them may be in 16:9 instead of 4:3. I'd prefer the original 4:3. I have the Season 1 DVD, but it won't play in my blue ray player, 9nly on my PC, so I want to get a new complete set, but I want to avoid the 16:9 ratio.
