You know I think with Happy Birthday General Lee being General Lee's story, they should've put the crossed flags on it for that episode in all the flashbacks. What do y'all think?

I'm having a problem with disc 2 of season one....the problem is with The Big Heist and Limo One is Missing . It freezes multiple times during T.B.H and won't even play Limo 1. I've watched this DVD before with no problems but now..... I've cleaned it with soap and water twice and even had my dad clean it....There doesn't seem to be any scratches but there are teany tiny specs/spots that don't wash off...on both sides....but only a problem with one side......uggg....so annoying! Oh more annoyingness...this DVD plays fine in the livingroom but not in my room or on my moms computer...does that make any sense!?! Ok I'm done ranting and raving now (maybe). Anyway does anyone…

On High Octane, I see a Ford flareside-don't know what year. In some episodes I saw a 1/2 ton, then a few minutes later a 3/4 ton. In most episodes he has a 73-75 Ford, but in Trouble at Cooter's he had a 76-77 for a couple of scenes. Why was this done? Is it because they thought no one would notice? Or was it done to make the show goofier, therefore adding to the comedy? Another example of this is in High Octane the lady revenue agent has a Ford Granada with round headlights. Next scene she's driving a newer Granada with sqaure headlights.

I just thought since we hear about Frontage Road a lot on Hazzard, we ought to learn a little more about it. First, we all know that Rosco will one day be working on Frontage Road as the night shift Renta-Cop, at the drive-in Deli, if he messes up one more time! I'm going to be listening for other things that were mentioned on Frontage Rd. and put them here. If you hear of any, please put them down here, as well. Frontage Rd. seems pretty generic... a subsidiary road running parallel to a main road or highway and giving access to houses and businesses .Also called service road Synonyms for frontage road: blacktop, byway, avenue, …

Hey all, We were discussing among friends the reason for this cake: Does anyone know the extact occasion what this was for? Celebration of the first 2 seasons? Or some kind of viewer ratings? (I don't know if this was discussed in the forum before, I tried the search but couldn't find anything...) Thx, Wekke

I finally did it. I went and joined Facebook so I could meet more Dukes fans. Who knows, maybe I can get a few of them to visit the HazzardNet......and maybe even stay longer than a visit.

I wonder why they always goof up the 00 packaging calling it Cooter's 00 Mustang. Not Cooter's it's Buzz Kilroy's car. The original Season 1 series 1 release 2004 did it too it called Ben Jones Ben Cooper on the DVD case but got it right as Ben Jones on the 2012 DVD case. There really is a Ben Cooper I looked him up. Has other toys for other shows or movies done that? A goof package?

A friend's post. Boss said if I give out 100 parking tickets today... I can drive the bigger sheriff car tomorrow. (Picture of Rosco writing tickets and his vehicle is a 2000s Dodge Charger.) My comment that I wrote. Sounds like something James Best would say. 😂 Boss, how am I supposed to catch those Duke Boys in this dang Tuna can? 😂

Did anyone else see it? The 2 guys one Blond one Brunette driving an orange 1970 Dodge Charger. They drive into the drive thru jamming to the radio. They drive up to the speaker and the driver the Blond guy says "We'll take 2 Chicken Potpies." 😀 Yeah I know the series didn't use any '70 Chargers only '69 and doctored up '68 with '69 parts on them before anyone points that out to me. But still a cool and Dukes related commercial to me. 😁

Has anyone had any problems with the Season 4 DVD? Just got a Region 2 DVD set from play.com and I found that Disc 4 would not play on either side from about 36 minutes in. I sent that back and the replacement arrived today. It's got exactly the same problem on Disc 4. It either skips and pauses from 36 minutes onward or won't start to play any of the later episodes. Have I just been really unlucky to get two faulty DVD sets or is there known to have been problems with that particular DVD?

My idea of the perfect place to live and the closest thing to heaven on earth, would be to live in Hazzard. Small, slow, simple, everybody knows everybody, laid back society, etc. etc. I usually watch it when I'm going to bed at night and fall asleep to it. It's very relaxing to see that, after living life all day. I go through the whole series, in order and it takes me better than a year, because I watch the same ones over and over, before I change the DVD. This is one of the few shows I like so much, that I never get tired of seeing it. I haven't seen the latter parts of the episodes in a long time, because I always fall asleep...lol ! If I could stay awake to see them…

And that's Mr. Johnny Cash. I never looked up if he was in any as I didn't want to spoil myself, but it was disappointing that I had reached the end [of the series] and he never showed up. But hey, he made a song about the General Lee. It sure feels like we were cheated out.

I know that everyone in the US celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Dukes of Hazzard back in January, but in the UK it didn't start until March 3rd, 1979. Below is the listing from the Radio Times (roughly the UK equivalent of the TV Guide) from that day. As y'all can see, it was originally shown at 9 PM on a Saturday night, but soon moved to an earlier Saturday slot. Back then we only had three channels, and no breakfast or daytime TV (except programs for schools). The two football leagues mentioned in the Match of the Day listing are now known as the Premier League and the Championship. Most of the other names bring back memories too . (Yes, I did spot the misspellin…

Y'all remember there being 2 Sheriff's of Hatchapee County? Sheriff Emmitt "Spike" Loomis and Sheriff Floyd? Well, my theory about this is that maybe Sheriff Emmitt "Spike" Loomis got his pension retired and stayed home then to take care of his wife and kids if had a wife and kids, and Sheriff Floyd ran for election and got voted in to take over.

Y'all should check out this guy's channel. He made a great point about the reason he thinks the show is not allowed to be on in reruns anymore. He thinks it's not only the flag fiasco, but the positive message the show puts out as a whole. That message being the government doesn't want its people to know that we can stand up and fight for what's right against a corrupt system. I whole heartedly agree with him!
