I notice this because of "Comrade Duke", "Witness: Jesse Duke", and "Welcome Back, Bo 'n' Luke". They seem more serious than other episodes of the show.

For years I've noticed the Hazzard Police sign at the WB set had neon tubes but I don't think I've ever seen it lit. Was it a real neon sign or just for 'show'?

Angela Lansbury has died just 5 days before her 97th birthday. She passed away in her sleep at her LA home. Born in London in 1925, when she wasn't in LA, she spent a good bit of time at her home in Co. Cork here in Ireland. I'm sure we all remember her as Jessica Fletcher in 'Murder She Wrote'. Here she is entering the former Duke Farm at Valencia Oaks in the 1988 episode 'Coal Miner's Slaughter', an episode which also featured Denver Pyle and Celebrity Speed Trap victim Hoyt Axton. The rest of my pictures are in the Valencia Oaks Movie Ranch thread. For another Dukes tie-in, from 1976 to 1981, Cathy Bach was married to Angela's stepson David Shaw.

Which one y'all like the best? A: The TV Series version? or B: Waylon Jennings Studio version? or C: Both?

Hello everybody, this is my first post on this forum after just reading it for months now. I'am not sure if this is the correct place to post this question so i apologise if im wrong, i couldnt find anywhere for specific DVD related discussion. I'am considering buying the series 7 DVD box set as i already own the rest but i was wondering if you could give me some help with the episode listings. The dvd contains the first 17 episodes of the season but ends on The Haunting of J.D. Hogg. But according to wiki, imdb and tv.com there was at least 4 more episodes in S7 that dont seem to be on my dvd.....can anyone explain this ? (here is a link to the S7 dvd i bought) http…

If it had been traditional, there probably would have been an overused laugh track and the show would have tried to be preachy and topical with "very special episodes"

I never liked the reunion show because the three younger Dukes had abandoned a frail Uncle Jesse and moved away. They never would have done that, at least not all 3 of them. Imagine what Hazzard would be like today. What is your version of it? I think Daisy would live in town married to Sheriff Enos. She would be a manager at a store in town and they'd have twin girls, both seniors in college at Atlanta. Bo never married and moved away and became an administrative executive for NASCAR. Luke still runs the farm with his wife, and youngest son. His other son and daughter have families of their own and live nearby and always bring the grandchildren out to learn farmwor…

I was wondering if anyone knows of where I can find the show. Does anyone have it on tape or that other form of media

Howdy, I was wunderin iffin you all knew whichin shows that gal Daisy shows up in. I knowed she ah in right many of'em so whats I was really wunderin whichin shows she is the star. I'm much appricated.

I was in Target today and saw for $39.95 each Halloween costumes for Bo Duke and also one for the same price for a Luke Duke one. I didn't see a Daisy Duke one. They are based on the original actors from the TV series. They both have a John (or Tom) wig, a hat, a typical Dukes shirt and a belt buckle that says Dukes Of Hazzard on it. No mask of their faces though they are on the packaging. Pretty cool looking!

Dukes of Hazzard Fun Fact: Did you know In the flashback episode Season 7 Episode 1 Happy Birthday, General Lee the 1st jump was an accident. Then they discovered they liked it and in later stories started doing it on purpose. The 1st jump was when running away from the gold dust robbers the Charger had originally belonged to when it was black before the Dukes bought it and painted it orange put the flag name and number on it and built the race car with it. They had the Gold dust stashed behind the dashboard and wanted it back.

There's been alot of bashing of season 7-not on this site though. Here's my opinion. Yes it was different. There were weird things involved-an alien and a robot. A trip to Hollywood. Flashbacks of the past(Happy Birthday General Lee and Go West Young Dukes). It just was not like the other seasons. But I wouldn't say it's the worst. If you asked me which season was the worst, I really couldn't answer that question. It had some cheesy, even stupid episodes, but so did the other seasons. Maybe just on a slightly larger scale. I would like to be either the 3rd Duke boy cousin or Cooter's employee to help with the cars because he got too busy to handle it himself. Either way, I'd like to ride a super fast motorcycle like a 1973 Kawasaki Z1 or 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 that could out jump the General by a long shot. I'd have the Confederate flag painted on the bike's gas tank. I would have grown up in the big city-Atlanta-and have tattoos, long hair, and listen to rock and roll. And if I was Cooter's employee, I'd like to become Daisy's husband!!!

Hey All, I was just rewatching the pilot episode. It was just as great as I remember. I did notice something really funny though. I am not sure if the producers caught it, but as Rosco is chasing Beau and Luke around the town square and you have to pause the dvd at 44:10, you will see a second General Lee parked in front of one of the stores. I am not sure if they just didn't have enough cars to fill the square and hope people wouldn't notice... LOL JDjr.

I have been searching cyberspace far and wide for a Dukes of Hazzard TV show screen saver for my trusty, deserving, reliable Mac OS X , and all I find are horrible pictures of Sean William Scott, Johnny Knoxville and Jessica Simpson. Does anyone know where a new girl in Hazzardnet.com can find a decent screensaver of the TV show for her Mac?

In the episode Duke of Duke, Jesse tells Bo and Luke that Gaylord is their 3rd cousin then Daisy adds he is "kin on Grandpa Henshaw's side meaning he ain't blood kin" but his last name is Duke. Does anybody have an explanation for this confusing relation explanation?

...the last DOH aired(if the airdate on the DVDs are correct). Later this evening, I'll relive Feb 8 1985 and watch Opening Night at the Boar's Nest. I doubt I saw it that day. I wasn't into DOH as much as a kid. I watched it every now and then. I think I watched more reruns after '85 then I did when it originally aired. I was very young during those days-6 years old when it started and 12 at the end. At that age, I didn't take any TV show seriously-just whatever I felt like watching.
