On TV This Week

Howdy Y'all...I was gonna tell y'all bout this movie fore it came on but I wasn't able to get on the computer. Anyways it was a movie called "Shark Swarm" with John Schneider as one of the main characters it was on Sunday May 25, 2008 at 8 o'clock on the Halmark Channel... It was pertty good...I didn't like it when he kept fallin overboard though. Has anyone else seen this? is It a new movie? The ending made it seem like there could be a sequel to it...is there or will there be? Sorry for all the questions all I know was it was a movie that had John Schneider in it and I had to watch it! Then everytime he came on the screen I said, "I got to hug him!" ha ha. I sure hope …

My wife was watching Inside Edition yesterday and called me into the room. They were talking about Paris Jackson's suicide attempt and were interviewing stars about it. As I recall the stars were at some kind of awards show. I'm not sure which one. Anyways, Hazzard County's John Schneider was one of the stars who was interviewed and were wishing Paris a speedy recovery.

I was flipping through the channels tonight and caught the last 5 minutes of a show called "R U Faster than a Redneck?" on the Speed Channel. Guess who was driving a classic Camero and racing against a newer car? Yep, John Schneider. I'm not going to say who won but they're reruninng it tonight at 1 am (EST) and then again Monday March 11 at 9:30 PM EST. There were a lot of Dukes talk in the short time I saw it so I'm looking forward to catching the whole show.

I just sat down in the waiting room of the doctor's office this morning when I heard a YEEHAWW coming from the TV screen. I looked up and saw a picture of Bo, Luke and Daisy on the screen. To my surprise it was CBS and not TNT. John Schneider was just being introduced by Rachael Ray on her show. Great timing I thought..... but I bet this will be one of those doctor's visits where you get called in right away. Luckily I was wrong and got called in right after the interview was over. I usually wait till after Halloween to start thinking about Christmas but the Lifetime channel is already showing a lot of Christmas stuff including John Schneider's "Poinsettias for Christmas" which I haven't seen yet. It will likely be on quite often. I watched two or three minutes of it tonight but decided to wait until after Halloween for more. It was pretty cool to see Bo.

Has CMT suddenly had a change of heart and brought back the DOH? I noticed it's on a few times today and then a few other days this week several eps in a row so does that mean they don't have anything else to show? or that they came to their senses and are putting it back on the air? B.L

I'm watching the show ( This is Monday night, June 23rd, 7:00 pm- 10:00 pm). I don't know if they're back on regularly now or not, but this is like the second time I've see them back! Keep a watch on CMT!!

Mini-marathon today Friday 27th started 830am Central time a few episode tomorrow. Then looks like a daily episode at 9am Central time....YEEHAAW

So on CMT.com, they say there will be another marathon on the 26th. But there is one thing I wonder. Are they doing these marathons just to show them at earlier times or are they trying to finish the series up so they can stop showing it? I want to say there are doing them to get the series over with. My reason: They had all those nights that it should have been on but they didn't. They also went with that long time without showing it. So those are pretty good explanations for it. So what do all of ya think?

For any of you Pro Wrestling fans out there, did yall happen to see TNA Thursday night when Cowboy James Storm was giving his promo and he said "Dukes of Hazzard Loving"?

I search Dukes of Hazzard on Time Warner Cable and there are no more showings other than the ones that will be on at 1 and 2 A.M. tomorrow. Could they not be showing it anymore?

I was at my parents' house last Friday (I don't have cable at my apartment) watching TV. While searching through the channels, I found "The Dukes of Hazzard" on TV - and not CMT! It was ABC family...it was on at eleven at night - central time. They were playing "Repo Men". I was really surprised to find the Dukes on another channel other than CMT! On the schedule of ABC Family, it shows other listings of the Dukes around midnight, but not every night. I don't know if this was listed other place, but figured I'd place a little note of notices of other sitings of our Dukes. Take care and keep it between the ditches Garrett Duke

On November 28th CMT will be doing a mini Dukes marathon. It will be from 6:00-11:00pm ET. I suggest we all watch it and boost the ratings...ratings do talk after all...maybe they will take the hint and bring back the show. Also, hot off the press: John's episodes of Nip/Tuck (yes there will be several) begin on the 27th on Fox. Should be interesting... John is all over the place tv-wise the next few weeks... Felicity on Hallmark, Snowday on TBS, TV Watercolor on TVGN.....a great start to the holidays:)

CMT will show some of DukesFest during the "Top Twenty Countdown" tomorrow at 4. (It also airs a few more times after that.)

I just got done watching one of the 3 celebrity Family Feuds the Dukes were on. My wife got it on You Tube. The Dukes beat the Walton's and won for Special Olympics after Daisy got 192 points and Luke easily finished the job. Also on the team were Jesse, Rosco and Boss. Sorrell's normal voice sounded so unusual. They also played against the cast of a show called Angie. In another one, no top level actors played. They were going up against The Jefferson's and had Cletus, Lulu, Hughie, Mabel Tillingham and Jeb Stuart Duke. When Jeb explained that he was a new Duke Richard Dawson asked him how long he's been on the show and he said "one week".

My wife was watching America's Funniest Home Videos tonight when she yelled into the kitchen, "Hey check this out. It's the General Lee!" Thanks to the DVR she reversed it and they were doing videos on different ways to destroy pumpkins. There was one with a General Lee racing down a strip and it ran one over! (Hmmm, maybe it was more than one). Anyways, the clip didn't last long but it was still cool. I stopped it when the driver was in the best view but couldn't see his or her face very good. It's always good to see anything Dukes related when you're not expecting to. It puts a smile on my redneck face!
