Doubled the snowfall this season with the storm over the weekend. Got 6.5 inches since Saturday night, most of it fell that night. Wish we would have gotten this around Christmas. The new tires on my car worked great in the snow, had no issues getting around Sunday.

I have to pat myself on the back for doing such a good job of keeping February's Fan of the Month recipient secret. I bet none of you saw this coming. Mark B has been with the best website on the internet since 2009 and was the Fan of the Month recipient in August of 2015. There are some people who claim to be big fans of The Dukes of Hazzard but Mark is not the bragging type. He lets his talents as an artist do all the talking for him. But his work doesn't just talk. It goes to the top of the highest peak in Georgia and shouts his love of Hazzard County from the top of his lungs. The thing is, Mark's works are not just a labor of love. They are not just an expression of how much he cares about the greatest show to ever grace a television screen. After all, anybody can make things to express themselves. But Mark's craftsmanship is elite. It is simply magical to witness his works and we are truly thankful that he takes the time to share it with his friends here on the HazzardNet. Thank you for all you do to promote the Dukes of Hazzard Mark. Besides your artwork, you have done so much more and we appreciate it. Congratulations for earning Fan of the Month honors for February 2021.

I'm staying up late watching dirt bike supercross races tonight. I've really gotten into them this year. I'm excited about spring so I can get back out again on mine. I'm about due for a newer bike. Might even go with a smaller one. I'm looking at Kawasaki KLX 140. I like a lighter bike on the trails. I always have but especially now that I'm 60 and would have a tougher time pulling it out if it was stuck in the mud.

This reminds me of the John Schneider song "Oh Lord, them good 'old boys are bad"

And then stop by my place to wash it down with some fresh buttermilk.....or if you're feeling tough, some buttermilk that's been expired for two weeks and is in a dirty glass that had used motor oil in it.....it really doesn't taste much different than the fresh stuff.

My cat would have sat on the buildings . She's always "helping" me if I'm working on a project in the house. I look forward to seeing the completed Hazzard.

For some reason I was thinking it was buttermilk, not just milk. I bet 'ol Enos wouldn't have missed that sermon.

Hmmm now you have me guessing...

A episode of the current season of the UK TV show QI put forward the following: When the Vikings invaded in the 11th century, English women found them attractive because they washed more often than the native British men. The Vikings tended to come without women, so they married English women, upsetting the locals. One monk, John of Wallingford, claimed that Danes cheated by washing. He wrote: "The Danes made themselves too acceptable to English women by their elegant manners and their care of their person. They combed their hair daily and took a bath every Saturday, and even changed their clothes frequently, be which means they undermined the chastity of the wives." Thus there is a theory that all of that stories about Vikings raping and pillaging were written by Englishmen whose wives were taken by more attractive Danes. I must remember to have a bath on Saturday to make myself irresistible to women.
