Luke grew quiet. The last thing he wanted to do was upset Bo. It almost aggravated him that they were so close. Bo knew what he was thinking without him having to say a word. Sometimes it was helful, but sometimes, when you wanted to be alone with your thoughts, it was downright annoying.

Bo shrugged a little, glancing into the side mirrors a little as he always did when he was driving. Years of Rosco popping up secretly behind them had made him take on that habit.

"I just want you to be happy Luke...that's all.."

"I don't need any girl to make me happy," answered Luke though he privately wondered whether that was true or not.

Bo sighed and stopped the General.

"Okay then so why are we bothering chasing her..."

Luke said nothing. He didn't know how to answer that question.

Bo sat back and drummed his fingers against the side of the door, starting to get a little more than irritated at Luke's changing attitude.

He could hear the frustration in Bo's fingertips and swallowed. He hated the way he was feeling, and he wasn't sure how he was feeling. All he knew was that one way or the other he wwanted it to end.

Bo sighed and shook his head, sliding out the General.

"Fine...you can't make up your mind...I ain't sittin' around when there are other people who need my help too...you decide what you wanna do and then go for it...i'm goin' back to the hospital.."

With that, he started walking back down the road.

Luke watched him go shaking his head. He slid out of the General, not wanting to do this on his own. "Bo don't go...please."

Bo sighed and stopped, putting his hands on his hips before turning around.

"What do you want me to do Luke..."

Luke could tell by the edge in Bo's voice how angry Bo was. he couldn't blame him. Luke didn't care for himself too much at the moment. "Don't leave."

Bo looked up to the heavens, praying to them to give him strength before looking back to Luke.

"Well then you best make up your mind what you wanna do..."

"I want the truth," said Luke simply hating the way Bo was looking at him. He felt bad enough...and Bo beingmad at him wasn't helping.

"Then would you please get your butt in the car, stop changing moods so quick you could be pregnant and get to it..."

He said as he headed back to the General.

Luke said nothing, not liking the way Bo spoke to him, but obediently got in looking intently out the window.

Bo got into the driver's side again and sped down the road.

Luke said nothing as Bo sped off.

Candy was driving down the road, heading out of Hazzard. Her eyes were bright red and bloodshot and tears were still streaking down her cheeks as she drove down the roads, her bags in the back of the car.

It wasn't long before Bo found her, swallowing.

"Luke I ain't gonna be able to get in front of her to stop her...she's too near to crossin' the line..."

Luke swallowed hard taking the CB. "Candy...Candy this is Luke...do you copy?"

Candy swallowed and looked down at the Cb, hearing Luke's voice but not picking up the CB. She didn't want to hear anymore about how much Luke hated her.

Luke swallowed. "Bo...you...you think you can pull up close behind her?" He was bound and determined to get the truth....no matter what... and if some fancy foot work would get it to him that that's what he would do.

Bo nodded and headed to do that, powering the General forwards and practically getting his front bumper touching her back one.

"Alright there ya are but ya ain't got long before she reaches the county line...you be careful ya hear?!"

Luke nodded. "I hear...thanks..." Taking a deep breath he slid out the window, his hair being pushed back against his head they were traveling so fast. He wasn't worried at all about Bo keping a steady hand....he was more worried that Candy would not.

Bo swallowed, watching as Luke slid out the window...he always hated it when Luke did this...

Luke glanced back at Bo. It wasn't so much to tell him to keep it steady...it was more to get the reassurance that he wasn't alone. Edging closer he held up his hands getting ready to cross over to Candy's car.
