Honestly I genuinely feel blessed to be here, and thanks for the compliment Roger.

That is some Uncle Jesse style wisdom there Roger, l appreciate it. And it’s true what you say too. I’m not the type to fall that easily anymore, I was as a teenager. Fast and furious, but these days I take it a tad slower. (Age 22, soon to be 23)

My heart goes out to you Hobie.. Divorce is quite prevalent unfortunately, my family knows that one all to well with a brother of mine. Fact is, he had been with her a while. Even had kids, but she got wandering on the other side of the fence, thinking the grass was greener… Long story short, even the most solid marriages can have cracks by times.. I grew up with them dating when I was a baby, and then getting married when I was a kid. Anywho. Well I’ve taken an interesting approach so far, I’m not really sure at the moment so I’m just taking it easy, when I was at my local Boars Nest this week I did start an interesting conversation with a lady over a pool table, kinda scoped out the situation and bought her a beer too. But yeah, it’s little interactions like that, that I’m starting out with. See who clicks and who vibes. Dating almost seems a lot like fishin, though sometimes it’s the ladies that reel us in ain’t it?

Hey there y’all, kinda thought this might be a good topic to ask here. But I’m wondering what advice. If any, y’all could give me on dating.. Currently single as a Pringle. But I’m young yet too, just thought I’d ask.

No problem Roger, always happy to share. It’s honestly a pretty good place to hang, country music playin, cold beer, (soda if you don’t drink) and some great people. Sounds a lot like Hazzard don’t it? - Tom

5 years later, and I’m late to this party, but I’m wondering if anyone has any floorplans or layout of the Duke Farmhouse? Thanks y’all!

Sad but true ain’t it? There’s just some people out there in this world that you can’t satisfy. I reckon somehow it’s better that way, just can’t be everyone’s cup of tea

This is the exterior, the front half of this building is the Boars Nest laundromat. y’all that’s right, guess the Boss has a laundry business on the side.

In the second photo, you can see more of the bar, including the booths. And in the third shot you can see the stage, where I’ve been told live bands come in from time to time. You can also see this place wears its Hazzard County pride well, with those Dukes Of Hazzard Posters, and even a General Lee 1/18 behind the bar.

Well here we go, this is a start anyways. Thank you to Meadowmufn for the assistance too, in troubleshooting the uploads. Y’all, this is The Boars Nest, located in a pretty little town called Cardinal. It’s got a lot of heart & soul. A lot like Hazzard.

Do y’all have any favourite drivers out there? I get the channels that broadcast it but any other good ways to follow the sport and keep up on the news? Tom Duke

We’ve got a real life Boars Nest where I live, and it’s pretty darn cool. I wanted to add photos but it’s not letting me for some reason, any advice y’all?

Advice please y’all.

Great advice Roger, thanks! Speaking of modern day tributes, I’ve seen plenty of challengers done up in General Lee fashion… Looks the part too. I’m keeping an open mind, I could make a modern tribute work, but like I said anything’s possible too Been a Dukes fan now for about 19 years, or so. Dad introduced me from a young age, we had a grand ol time watching together. My favourite? I’d have to say I took a shine to Luke Duke especially. -
Advice please y’all.

Well howdy to you cousin, still hoping to find one, but if I don’t I can always do a modern tribute. Funny thing, I find the modern challenger bears more resemblance to an old charger than the chargers. Finding a fixer upper 69 even seems hard now, most of the ones I’ve seen are restored projects and would cost more money than the bank of JD Hogg probably has in it. That being said, I’m young and patient. Anything can happen in this life, so who knows! -
Great to be here, feel like I’ve found an extended family here already.

Thanks for the welcome, Hoss!

Always great to make memories ain’t it? You and your brother will cherish that time forever. My dad and I went to a few local car shows in our time too, he liked his cars but he really loved art. He was a painter, he did those paint by numbers kits, and managed to do 50 of em. He gave a lot of em away a few years ago, but the handful he kept are now proudly hanging on my walls.

Hi Roger, I was very blessed to have him, and I hope I do him proud. He definitely passed the tradition on to me, and I hope someday I’m blessed enough to do the same, should I be blessed with fatherhood. You’re not too personal, don’t worry. Actually my name is Thomas, but I shorten it to Tom these days. When I signed up here and thought of a username, I figure Tom Duke has a nice ring to it. Never realized about the parallel with Tom Wopat, kinda cool as he’s my favourite of the Duke Boys.

Howdy Y’all, just thought I’d do a post here and see if anyone here would be able to help me out. I’m basically lookin for advice, I don’t have it yet. But eventually I want to get myself a nice 1969 Dodge Charger, for a General Lee Replica. Now what I’m asking about, is how reliable are they as a daily driver? Like not for winter driving (of course) but during fair seasons. For someone who wants to get into 1969 chargers in particular, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Y’all. Tom Duke

I believe I will, nice to find a hazzard homecoming on the net, grew up on the DVDs, used to watch em with my dad. He's gone now, but the memories live on. I’m hoping someday to build a General Lee replica, I always told him I was gonna.
