So one if the houses we checked out a few weeks ago came back on the market over the weekend so we called our realtor and he checked out why. Turns out it needs major foundation repair that the owners did not disclose when they put it on the market originally. We figured something was wrong with it when we toured it because when we walked into the kitchen from the living room the floor tilted enough to throw your balance off. The inspector for whoever put an offer in also noted the living room foundation needed repaired as well as the kitchen. The owners still think they can get close to their original asking price if they knock off $5k for foundation repair for the new owners. I think it's going to cost a bit more than $5k since at least half the house has a foundation issue. Sunday morning we managed to finally schedule our first vaccine doses for this week. Looking forward to it.

While waiting in line at the bank Saturday morning this topic came up though the people behind us were talking about the Looney Tunes and other cartoons that they grew up on and The Talk's Sharon Osbourne. One guy joked ''I'm not on Facebook so nobody can cancel me" and we all laughed at that .

Was an exciting weekend in Atlanta. Fists were flying after the Xfinity race Saturday between Daniel Hemric and Noah Gragson. Nascar wisely is not going to penalize either driver. Kyle Larson dominated Sunday's cup race winning both Stages 1 & 2 having about a 10 second lead over 2nd place. However the #5 team couldn't keep up with the changes to the track and Kyle couldn't drive away from the field like he did in the stages. Ryan Blaney eventually caught up to him when his teammate Joey Logano kept Kyle from lapping him. Ryan easily passed Kyle Larson and then Joey moved aside and let Ryan and Kyle pass. Top 10 1. Wife and I tried signing up for the Covid vaccine since the governor opened up our age group to it today but apparently there's not enough vaccine to go around because the first available dates are at the end of the month. Krogers and Rite Aid are the only local Pharmacy's where you don't have to register for a store account just to get a vaccine. Guess we'll just wait then. Checked out a couple more houses. One needed almost a total gut renovation. The other looked like the owner tried to cover some stuff up since they had wall texture applied to everything except the floors, even the crown molding was covered in it. Then they painted it dark gray with white ceilings though they obviously didn't use tape as some of the ceiling by the wall was gray. Have a great weekend everyone

My favorite episodes are the one where Barney buys the motorcycle with a sidecar for patrols , the haunted house and when Barney buys that junk car from the old swindler lady. Every time those episodes repeat on MeTV I watch them.

I think it's due to all the changes they made the past decade to try and make it more 'entertaining'. The COT car sure as heck didn't help either. I found it funny Sunday that they kept putting the #23 on camera no matter where he was in the field. I know McDonald's is one if their partners but dang they missed some good racing keeping a camera on that car.

I can't believe they didn't all go cancel culture nuts on the Grammy's the other night when they allowed that WAP song to be sung on there, talk about gross.

Yeah the housing market is crazy here. One realtor they interviewed said he's never seen anything like it in all his years. Said he schedules open houses then has to cancel them because the owners get a cash bid right away. Some of the local home inspectors are actually hurting for money because they're not doing inspections like they normally would be scheduled to do.

The Penske racing trio started off strong even finishing 1,2,3 in the first stage but Joey Logano was the only Penske car that kept up with the track changes except at the end. Three Hendrick motorsports cars had to start from the back due inspection issues but they finished strong within the top 10. If it weren't for social media I don't think there would be a "cancel culture" but since a small percentage of people can make so much "noise" company's feel they have to react otherwise they'll be branded offensive for life on social media. Looks like Sharon Osbourne is next in the Cancel Culture's crosshair's , I don't watch The Talk but I seen the clip and it's hilarious how fast it got spun around on her.

Thank you . She's much better. She stuffed herself the other night with fried chicken and a salad. First time she cleaned her plate in more than a week. Read a local news article yesterday about other buyer's struggles trying to buy a house. Comforting to know we're not going he only ones struggling against the out of state jackals buying up all the housing. One couple have been out bid on 32 houses . It be nice if it was a level playing field where home buyers had an actual shot in hell against the investors/flippers throwing briefcases of cash at sellers. And since it's a cash deal it nullify's the need for an inspection and appraisal which mortgage buyers have to get so of course sellers will take the cash deal 99% of the time. Looks like my dad and the neighbor finally come to an agreement on the bushes. The neighbor got an estimate on replacing them and she said it was outrageous so she's just going to have the damaged ones removed and replace them with some other plant. At least I won't be hearing my dad whine about it anymore, that got old two weeks ago and he still goes on about it every single day. I assume when my dad was a kid he whined until my grandparents gave in or something. Even my one uncle the other day said it's time my dad grew up and took some responsibility lol, at least I'm not the only one in the family saying it. I always wondered why Philip was called Prince and not King, that's interesting.
