Got our Covid vaccine shots Friday. We were given the Moderna one. Just a sore arm is the only side effect we had though I was a bit drowsy afterwards and Friday night was the best night's sleep I've had in a few weeks. Cat kept bugging me Saturday morning to get up and feed her lol, she finally got me up about 7am. I'm usually up at 5am every morning. I wonder how many other comics are going to apologize for past jokes. I read over the weekend Jay Leno apologized for making jokes about the way asians drive. Sarah Silverman apologized for something or other a few weeks ago. When will they make rappers apologize for using the N word or killing people or raping women in their "music". There's also a children's book being recalled for 'passive' racism, whatever that is, because supposedly it's about Cavemen Martial Artists. So we're coming close to a point in society where everything is offensive to someone but it seems like its ok if it's offensive to straight caucasian religious people./end rant

James Best aka Roscoe P Coltrane. That's another hilarious one I try not to miss. Don Knott's was one of the funniest comedic actors in his era.

Yes it is Roger. I had to play along when my grandma called me thinking I was my uncle one time, one of the saddest conversations I ever had. She had her good days and bad days. I feel for my aunt who decided to take care of her instead of putting her in a nursing home. Eventually she had to go to one though.

So one if the houses we checked out a few weeks ago came back on the market over the weekend so we called our realtor and he checked out why. Turns out it needs major foundation repair that the owners did not disclose when they put it on the market originally. We figured something was wrong with it when we toured it because when we walked into the kitchen from the living room the floor tilted enough to throw your balance off. The inspector for whoever put an offer in also noted the living room foundation needed repaired as well as the kitchen. The owners still think they can get close to their original asking price if they knock off $5k for foundation repair for the new owners. I think it's going to cost a bit more than $5k since at least half the house has a foundation issue. Sunday morning we managed to finally schedule our first vaccine doses for this week. Looking forward to it.

Cancel Culture is coming for the Dukes...
Spike replied to Spike's topic in Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion
Mine too. While waiting in line at the bank Saturday morning this topic came up though the people behind us were talking about the Looney Tunes and other cartoons that they grew up on and The Talk's Sharon Osbourne. One guy joked ''I'm not on Facebook so nobody can cancel me" and we all laughed at that . -
Was an exciting weekend in Atlanta. Fists were flying after the Xfinity race Saturday between Daniel Hemric and Noah Gragson. Nascar wisely is not going to penalize either driver. Kyle Larson dominated Sunday's cup race winning both Stages 1 & 2 having about a 10 second lead over 2nd place. However the #5 team couldn't keep up with the changes to the track and Kyle couldn't drive away from the field like he did in the stages. Ryan Blaney eventually caught up to him when his teammate Joey Logano kept Kyle from lapping him. Ryan easily passed Kyle Larson and then Joey moved aside and let Ryan and Kyle pass. Top 10 1. Ryan Blaney 2. Kyle Larson 3. Alex Bowman 4. Denny Hamlin 5. Kyle Busch 6. Austin Dillon 7. Chris Buescher 8. William Byron 9. Martin Truex jr 10. Kevin Harvick Interesting tidbit this is the first time there have been 6 different winners at the first 6 races of the season since 2014.

Wife and I tried signing up for the Covid vaccine since the governor opened up our age group to it today but apparently there's not enough vaccine to go around because the first available dates are at the end of the month. Krogers and Rite Aid are the only local Pharmacy's where you don't have to register for a store account just to get a vaccine. Guess we'll just wait then. Checked out a couple more houses. One needed almost a total gut renovation. The other looked like the owner tried to cover some stuff up since they had wall texture applied to everything except the floors, even the crown molding was covered in it. Then they painted it dark gray with white ceilings though they obviously didn't use tape as some of the ceiling by the wall was gray. Have a great weekend everyone

Y'all might want to grab the dvd sets while you can because they will most likely be removed from the shelves soon. Kenny Wayne Shepherd just got cancelled for having a "replica" of the General Lee https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/kenny-wayne-shepherd-blues-awards-204200911.html This crap is getting so out of hand

It's actually Happy St. Patrick's day Roger. MeTV played a bunch of St. Patricks day cartoons yesterday morning, I had no idea there was so many made, most of them were Looney Tunes.

Atlanta. Saturdays Truck and Xfinity races are on FS1, Sunday's Cup race is on Fox.

My favorite episodes are the one where Barney buys the motorcycle with a sidecar for patrols , the haunted house and when Barney buys that junk car from the old swindler lady. Every time those episodes repeat on MeTV I watch them.

I think it's due to all the changes they made the past decade to try and make it more 'entertaining'. The COT car sure as heck didn't help either. I found it funny Sunday that they kept putting the #23 on camera no matter where he was in the field. I know McDonald's is one if their partners but dang they missed some good racing keeping a camera on that car.
