I guess my dad is not going to take responsibility and pay the neighbor now, I don't care anymore. If she takes him to small claims court then so be it, he only has himself to blame. She only wants $400 of the cost of the removal of the arborvitae bushes, not the entire bill covered which was over $1k. I told him take the $400 out if the stimulus money he got and be done with it instead of being a stubborn jack.

Some real gems in this one I love the crayon comment I bet Cody Ware got a nice talking too from daddy after the race since he caused about half the cautions.

It's really unfortunate for small businesses that so many millennials are too lazy to shop local and instead just get it from Amazon because "it's easier". Wouldn't surprise me within the next 20 years the only stores left will be Amazon, Walmart, Krogers and one of the big 3 of the home improvement stores.

Tempers flared and by the end of the Martinsville race some of the cars looked like they survived a demolition derby. Martin Truex jr won the race after passing his teammate Denny Hamlin and became the first repeat winner of the season. Ryan Blaney had the dominant car of the day but a bad pit stop where the front tire changer forgot to pull the air hose from in front of his car caused him to take the hose and wrench with him when he drove out of his pitbox which resulted in a penalty. He did manage to make it back to 11th place. Top 10 1. Martin Truex jr 2. Chase Elliott 3. Denny Hamlin 4. William Byron 5. Kyle Larson 6. Joey Logano 7. Christopher Bell 8. Tyler Reddick 9. Kevin Harvick 10. Kyle Busch

That's a good thing to do once in a while. It also gives your eyes a break too, the blue light screens emanate are not good for the eyes long term. While walking one of the trails at a nearby park we came across a pair of Eastern Hog-nosed Snakes. The female was about 3 foot long and about two inches in diameter and was a dark gray almost black pattern. The male about 1 3/4 foot long, yellow tan with black splotches pattern. The female was very irritated that we stopped to check them out lol. I used the Seek app to identify them as we've only ever seen garter snakes at this park.

Looks like mother nature's going to postpone this week's race too. Weather radar shows rain showers just outside of Martinsville. If it does get postponed it will most likely be run tomorrow afternoon. Maybe they should have did more rain tire testing lol.

Picked up my new toy yesterday https://www.woodcraft.com/products/14a-plunge-and-fixed-base-router-skil looking forward to playing with it when the weather stays nice. Ordered it 3 weeks ago and had to wait for it to come in. Done being a mediator The neighbor and my dad finally came to an agreement, now hopefully my dad will keep his end up so I don't have to get involved anymore.

The lady at the end of this video could drive circles around a lot of guys. https://play.history.com/shows/only-in-america-with-larry-the-cable-guy/videos/corvette You can watch the full episode here https://play.history.com/shows/only-in-america-with-larry-the-cable-guy/season-2/episode-11 Corvette plant part is in the final 10 minutes. There's also John Force's daughter's that have beaten many men in the 1/4mile drag races. Shirley Muldowney won 18 NHRA events in her career. Denise McCluggage won the GT class in the 1961 Sebring 12hrs race, also won the 1964 Monte Carlo rally. Michele Mouton won a few WRC Rally Races. Gender don't matter, Talent does.

Skip to 16:40 to see the Dukes of Hazzard collection. I have the lunchbox pictured at 18:01. Good luck with the puppy. Let's see in a few weeks if that bugger wears you out. Hope everything goes good with your wife's surgery.

When the alarm went off this morning I turned the TV on to wake up and Pawn Stars happened to be on whatever channel we fell asleep too. A guy was looking to sell his Dukes of Hazzard collection. He probably had everything that was ever made for the tv series, toys, games, action figures, cars, lunch boxes, etc... even a calculator. They had an appraiser check it out and he said the whole collection was worth $1,500 so the pawn shop and the seller settled on $1,200. The most expensive thing in the collection was Daisy Duke's jeep, the appraiser said that is the rarest toy that was made because everyone wanted a general lee and cop car to wreck when they were kids, so he valued that toy at $800. That kind of sucked to hear as I had one when I was a kid and I was not gentle with my toy cars . When you're a kid you're not thinking this toy is going to be a collectible when you grow up, keep it nice as possible, you're thinking about recreating a jump from the show or wrestling move or battle etc...

Carl Edwards looking to do a few one off races if the right opportunity arises. https://www.jayski.com/2021/04/03/carl-edwards-says-theres-potential-for-a-one-off-road-course-return/ And the current gen Nascar Cup car could get one last hurrah next season running the Bristol dirt race. According to some crew chiefs the next gen car would have to be modified for dirt racing. The short track rain tire test went well. Both drivers had positive things to say about the test and Nascar's John Probst said it was "positive and promising first test" and Nascar will evaluate it further. Some sad news the matriarch of Wood Bros. Racing Bernece Wood passed away March 30th. She was 90 years old. Fans will remember her from the Wood Bros. Museum as she was the resident historian. This week's Martinsville races will be on FS1 Friday and Saturday nights.

Mother nature sure played an April Fool's day prank on some of us. Only got a dusting of snow but still it's supposed to be Spring lol. With everyone being so overly sensitive these days it's not surprising April Fool's day isn't as popular. Y'all have a happy Easter.

Might soon see the Cup cars racing in the rain on small ovals. In addition to testing the next gen car at Martinsville today they will also be testing rain tires on the cars to see if it's feasible.

Had the fun of upgrading the lady that married me and the wife to a Windows 10 PC yesterday. She's had a Win XP pc for the last decade+. Fun part was trying to explain that microsoft done away with the version of Outlook she's always used. She's not a fan of the new email she has to use, to say the least lol, at least I was able to transfer her email address book to the new email to make the transition easier. Will be teaching her some more about the new pc today.
