  1. Apparently he's not going to try either. Back when filming first started Gainey was quoted as saying "No offense to the original but that was corny." NO DUH!!!!!!!! Sheesh. Perhaps "corny" is out of the realm of Gainey's acting ability? Who knows.
  2. Well I wonder how they got a mid 80's Caprice into a 1979 tv show? Me thinks Mr. O'Neil needs a visual of the Plymouth Fury. May I present my avatar at the left...

  4. I do have to say kudos to Warner Brothers for sticking to their guns and keeping the flag on the car and not bowing to any pressure, be it corporate or otherwise. And yes, the new Charger sucks anyway. And the new GTO sucks for that matter. Cripes, is Ford the only car maker that's getting it right?!?!

  6. Hi Crystal, First, welcome to HNet. =) I edited your post a little and took out the address for two reasons. 1. Us folks here at HNet are not associated with any of the cast members of the Dukes of Hazzard. For autographed pics, you'll want to visit the various cast members websites, links to which can be found in our links section off the home page. (see the link above that says HazzardNet Home. That'll take you right to our main page and then down the left hand side you'll see a link to Links). 2. There's a lot of weird and strange and sick people on the internet. Although I'm confident there are none in residence here at HNet, this is a public forum and anybody can come in and read the posts. Although your address was a PO Box, you can't be too careful. So I hope you understand I'm only looking out for the youngin's and yourself. Anyway, check out the direct links to cast members sites (I know we have one for John, Tom, Cathy, Jimmie and Ben), and good luck getting those autographed pics for your son! =) MaryAnne HNet Moderator

  8. I think you're right in Cletus getting soaked more than anyone on the show. I seem to recall hearing or reading somewhere that Rick Hurst would often complain and say "I gotta get a wet suit" which he ended up saying in one of the episodes. ROFL!

  10. Would anyone consider me being too flip to declare June 28th a national day of mourning?

  12. Answer: 1964 GTO Question: What happens if we stuff this 389 into a '63 Tempest? Voila. =) Great models! Welcome to HNet!
  13. GAH! I did! For shame!!
  14. I always thought groups like the original Jefferson Airplane was considered Acid Rock. In addition to Soft Rock, Alternative Rock, Classic Rock and Hard Rock, there's also Progressive Rock, Country Rock, Jazz Rock, Avante Guarde(sp?) Rock and Plymouth Rock. Whups. Okay that last one ain't really. LOL
  15. I actually like the double sided discs. Makes for more compact packaging and take up less room on my shelf. Why are they switching to nine anyway? Is this gonna jack up the price? Cripes, anything for a buck I suppose.
  16. I thought it was a neat episode in that instead of the usual "Bo and Luke in trouble and trying to get out" it pairs one of the boys (Luke in this case) with Daisy. Gets her out of the dang Boar's Nest and off the farm for a day!
  17. I think I'm detecting some kind of theme here. LOL. All we need now is a band called "Mortician." Seriously tho'... I like Metallica (80's), Ozzy, a couple of Black Sabbath songs, ahh....after that it's mostly hard rock stuff (AC/DC, Areosmith, Guns n' Roses, ect...)
  18. Well if I was to hasten a guess I'd say this pic was from "Enos" as opposed to a Dukes publicity shot. I found this on eBay a few years back (I didn't buy it but I saved the image LOL). I'll have to hunt around my computer here and see if I have any other pics.
  19. Like this one....?
  20. Slow Freight - Glenn Miller Orchestra. 8)
  21. BRIAN!!!! Good gawd.... Have you no shame?? Apparently not. ROFLMAO!
  22. Sheep jokes? Listen I ain't your dyed in the wool comedian ya know... Sorry, that's the best I could come up with. ROFL.
  23. Remeber too Bill that back when the Dukes first aired, no one thought of cutting stuff to make room for more commercials. The shows you're seeing on CMT are a bit chopped. On DVD you get the whole program, uncut and uninterrupted.
  24. MaryAnne commented on Brian Coltrane's gallery image in The Vehicles
  25. The Sheriff, however, was not home. Instead, in his frantic ride to find out what the explosion was that Cooter had heard he met up with MaryAnne, Val, Enos and Chet. Rosco was immediately relieved to see MaryAnne, Val and Enos were all okay and then his expression changed once he laid his eyes upon Chet. MaryAnne acknowledged Rosco's disapproving look and quickly explained before her older cousin let lose with a barrage of choice words and accusatory questions. "Just hold on," MaryAnne said, holding a hand up. "Lemme explain. " And she did, running through the story yet again. The more she told it, the more it seemed to lose it's punch and upon hearing what his cousin had been through Rosco was bothered by her apathetic appearance. Perhaps it's not apathy, he suddenly thought. I think maybe she's scared... And frankly so was he, for her. Rosco looked at Chet and gave an appreciative nod for what the rustler had done. By the way things sounded, Hazzard would need all the hlep it could get. Rosco turned Lightening around and the group rode together back to town. (cue anyone!)
