I found it! It's called "That's the Way a Cowboy Rocks and Rolls." It's on iTunes on the Jessi Colter Collection album. The sample of the song has that line that Lukas noted. Argh...iTunes is bein' a pain and I can't purchase the album or the song at this time. Frizzin'...frazzzn'...&%*$!&%!

I've heard this song in passing on the radio and only recognize it because I think I'm hearing "Sweet Home Alabama" or "Werewolves of London" and then I realize it's $#@!&% Kid "I Ain't Straight Outta Compton, I'm Straight Outta the Trailer" Rock. Get my hopes up that it's one of the other two songs and then get let down. The only other songs by him that I know are... "COWBOOYYYYY!!!" (With the top let back and the sunshine shining....) of which I don't know all of what he's singing and I just looked up the lyrics and that was more than I needed to know. Gee whiz... And then there's that song he did with Sheryl Crow that gets played to death on the adult contemporary station here. Needless to say, I ain't much of a fan.

There's something wrong with your poll, DixieRoss. It won't let me vote for Rosco... Truthfully, the Dukes was one of those shows where the whole was greater than the sum of the parts. It wouldn't be the same without all the characters as we know them. The Duke family, Cooter, Enos, Cletus, Rosco, Boss and even our re-acurring characters like Lulu, Miz Tisdale, Maybelle, Hughie Hogg, ect. So, you can't really choose just one. It's hard! LOL

That's the first question I ask is are you signed into the forums when you try to access the chat? Because I'm not even sure the chat is set up that you can "sign in" to it. I think you have to be already logged into the forums before going into chat. If are already signed into the forums then....I dunno what the issue is. Mufn's more technical on that end than I am.

Just something that I noticed, if you have a notification for something (PM, friend alert, ect) the chat box doesn't show. Once you clear your notifications, it shows again. Dunno if that has something to do with it or not.

The first one I think is from Kansas Raiders (he's got that nice leather coat on). The second one I have no idea what that's from. Glad to share! I love this thread. Khee!

Not only that he worked with a lot of legends too. I recognize Tony Curtis in a couple of those pics, who started out in Hollywood the same time Jimmie did in the early 50's. I'll second that!
