Was this movie done in black and white perchance? Might explain the funky colors of their clothes. Certain colors were worn so they contrasted better in black and white. (Such as the yellows and reds). Great pics you both are posting by the way. I've got nothin' compared to the collection y'all have! LOL

And if this post doesn't work, we have other options. Folks, just remember, we try to keep HNet open and freewheelin' around here. I love this thread. KHEE!! Love the Jim Lindsey pics. Both of those episodes are great. Andy: Yes sir. Maybe get to be some kinda celebrity. Have people runnin' around after ya, wantin' yer autograph. Jim: Yeah?! Andy. Yeah! Be worth learnin' how to write just for that! ROLFMAO

So lemme get this right. If I threaten beatings with the failure to complete a story then Alex WON'T complete a story because he'll get the beating that he does not so richly deserve. If I go the other way with it and reward him with a beating for completing the story, he'll have one done in probably two days. Which totally goes against my idea of what is positive and what is negative reinforcement! You are one sick puppy, Alex.

Hmmm....I have to disagree that that's the reason why the show isn't being aired right now. I understand what you're saying about the film quality. When the Dukes ran on TNN ten years ago, the film had that "aged" look to it. Looks even worse now on ten year old VHS tapes. ROFL But when the DVD's were released, the film quality was much much better. But I ain't sure that's necessarily the reason why the show isn't aired. I think it comes down to more or less a network deciding if airing the show it worth it in terms of advertising dollars and if they'll recoup what they pay out for the rights to air the show for x number of years. TNN made a fortune with the Dukes, as did CMT. I think the Dukes will find their way back to television again after a few years away and yet another generation of fans will dig the show, probably once some of us get the bad taste of the '05 movie and "Beginnings" out of our mouths. (I've actually never seen "Beginnings" so I can't editorialize either way on that). As for WB...I don't hold my breath on anything from them. LOL. I'm still patiently waiting for them to put out the 1950's western series "Maverick" on DVD. I figure I'll be James Garner's age by the time they do it.

Two episodes came to mind with that. The first is "Cletus Falls in Love" and the other...I cant' remember the darn title too! LOL. But it's the one where he's driving the green Mercury Cougar...I think. Forces Bo and Luke to pull over.... Oh oh! I think it's "The Rustlers." Both episodes he weaves all over the road, like he's drunk, and ends up in the bushes. Is it either one of those? LOL

Gee, Alex, have you no self-motivation anymore? LOL. Ah lessee....penalty? Didn't think about that. But since it's apparent that the beatings will have to continue until moral improves around here I reckon we should come up with a penalty for failure to complete a story for the Luck Challenge. Hmmm.... Well, we could keep with something of tradition here. If you don't make it in March you'll have to wear an appropriate avatar for some amount of time. Maybe an avatar of a broken mirror? Course you'd have to sport that for 7 years.... Could do a black cat, a crow, a monkey.... You could be a Coltrane for awhile, Coltrane luck being what it is. LOL Hmmm..... have to think on this one.
