  1. This isn't so much a favorite quote but a favorite scene, also from "Repo Men" when Bo's complimenting her on her dress and her shoes and all. And she's all grinning from ear to ear. Too funny!
  2. Rosco!! Oh, wait he wasn't on the list... LOL Too difficult to choose between the four guys. They're all tops on my list.
  3. Awesome! Coy's line... "Is this my car?" ROFL.
  4. You're welcome. :) You'll catch on with the gentle guidance of others.

Did I just say gentle? LOL

  5. Chet! Is that a positive comment I see from you?!?!? *faints* ROFL. Awright, maybe there's hope for y'all yet.
  6. Well. I'm glad y'all got that settled. Okay, first of all I find it amusing that Chet, of all people, is preaching now about good writing quality, ect. When you first showed up here, Chet, and we tried to kindly tell you about paying attention to spelling and punctuation, you essentially told some of us to go hell. Chet said: If I acted the way you do when I first arrived here I woulda been evicted, banished, banned for life! DISRESPECTFUL! Chet, you WERE evicted, banished and banned for life. Multiple times. For some reason we always let you back in tho'. I have no idea why. Growing pains, I guess. I can't totally disagree with your grievence tho'. My only disappointment in all this is how all y'all handled it. Which means, I'm now speaking to EVERYBODY here... (assuming anyone cares about anything MaryAnne has to say...) Although I admire daisyxenos and Elly's determination to continue with their story despite the comments thrown in (which is the first rule y'all have broken, Rule #3) they seem to insist that this story is just them two alone writing it (which is the second rule y'all have broken, Rule #1). What, you didn't know the Round Robin section has rules?? Huh. Well they do... http://www.hazzardnet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5105 I know this place is pretty much a free fer all now. I can't enforce the rules because there's just too many stories going and it's gotten out of hand. I've tried to remind people of the rules of this place, but who the hell listens to MaryAnne anymore? I eventually just gave up as it seemed, for the most part, folks were having fun and carryin' on and not getting anyone's nickers in knot. Of course, a lot of folks I've noticed don't participate anymore. Myself included. And to be brutually honest, and I'm sorry, but I don't read any of the RR's that are currently going on. Not that I haven't tried, but I just can't follow any of them. Bluntly put, it comes down to those who want to really try to learn how to write, and those who apparently don't care to know the finer English mechanics. It would appear that Chet, over the years finally got some sense into that thick head of his. And if that's true, Chet, there's hope for others. However, there are also some of us who need to be a little more gentle in our critiques. Constructive critism, remember. Not destructive. Since daisyxenos restared the thread in the RP section, I'm going to lock this one. And once again, although nobody listens, please do take a moment to check out the rules. They're not perfect and if you've got questions please ask me. I don't bite! Really!
  7. ROFL. Well, like Rosco says, "I'm as country as a bowl of turnip greens and I can't be trusted!" You can trust me tho', Roger. Really. Ya can. Brian will vouch for me. What? *rummages through cabinet near coffee maker* Are we out of coffee cups AGAIN?
  8. You're welcome, Roger! The book just came out last month. That's great that you can order it through Barnes and Noble! Great to know for any other Dukes fans out there who might be leary of ordering through the internet or just want to be able to pick up the book locally. Speaking of the internet.... About the only thing you can be sure of over the internet is HazzardNet. But sometimes even we're not sure of this place! ROFL
  9. Not necessarily. I do know of at least one other place (online) that's selling Jimmie's book. I reckon Roger will report back to us if he has any luck ordering it through Borders or not.
  10. BAHAHAHA! I'd say Roger has exactly what it takes to take over this segment of HazzardNet. Oh not because he picked Brian (tho' flattery does get you places), but that he went with the quickest and simplest answer he could come up with.... "Awright, we'll have Brian be fan o' the month for the next six months and then I won't have to worry about it 'til then. Brilliant! Next problem..." Unfortunately, Roger, and I'll have to check the rules on this, I don't think any HNet admin/moderator is eligible to be fan o' the month. I could be wrong as most of our rules are written on diner napkins and taped to the bar at the Boar's Nest and they're not well organized. And some have been used to clean up the bar and what not. But I'm pretty sure on this one. Still, in terms of concept, you got this thing down pat already!
  11. Certainly puts that satchel of stolen credit cards from that one Dukes episode in perspective don't it? LOL Roger, I found the ISBN number for the book (however, a search at Borders.com website doesn't show the book as being available, but perhaps they can order it in store. I'm not sure how that all works but I'm figuring that's what you're gonna do). Here is the ISBN... 9781593934606 The publisher is Bear Manor Media (if they need that info as well).
  12. Too many B&D songs to list. LOL. I have only one of their albums (Borderline) but know a lot of their songs. I like Neon Moon, I Am That Man, Boot Scottin' Boogie, several more.

I'm listenin' to Borderline right now.

  13. Seriously??? Brooks and Dunn were the number one country duo for like ten years! That's a bummer, I always liked them.
  14. Welllllll it doesn't exactly have country in it (a little bit. Kinda. Sorta. LOL) but still, if ya love car chases and seein' cop cars get smashed up and all, Blues Brothers is a riot. Elwood: It's a hundred and six miles from here to Chicago, we got a full tank of a gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark out and we're wearing sunglasses. Jake: HIT IT!! As for the question at hand, considerin' all the Bluesmobile went through, I'll admit it was a tough car. But I'd have to put my money on the General Lee. Khee! I also concur with Roger, I appreciate the young Dukes fans too.
  15. The silver outfit in Daisy's Song? You mean this.... I always thought it was pink. LOL
  16. Thank ya. Hopefully the story/series lives up to the epic graphic I made here. ROFL
  17. (Pardon me while I do some shameless self-promotion. LOL) Coming soon.... An alternate universe Dukes of Hazzard/Greatest American Hero crossover series. When Los Angeles FBI agent Bill Maxwell is reassigned to the Atlanta bureau, neither he, nor the city of Atlanta, have any idea what they're in for...
  18. He did play a LOT of villians in his career, Roger. LOL. I think you'd be very surprised to see some of the nasty kind of people he played compared to the lovable sheriff we all know. All of which is really a testament to his incredible acting skill. In fact.... Sheriff, is your current avatar from "Man on the Prowl" or is it from "The Killer Shrews?" It's kinda hard for me to tell. It if's Man on the Prowl, he played a nasty dude in that one. If it's Killer Shrews, he didn't. LOL
  19. Yer right, there is black for the unknown quantity. Or gray. Or purplish-blue. Hmm.... Well, Brian's fond of black. And we all know he's an unknown quantity. Khee!
  20. Oooo!!! Never seen that one before! What "family" was he with?? I'm wonderin' if this is on my Family Feud DVD that I have yet to watch. ROFL
  21. BAHAHAHA!! Ol' Rosco got a little too excited about the cake it appears. KHEE!! Happy Birthday Jimmie!
