  1. Julie, I'd say you just started yourself a book thread.
  2. Congratulations, Roger! I'd agree that the youngin' is on his way to a good start. Khee!
  3. LOL. She probably got those beautiful straight teeth from having the braces.
  4. That's the one! LOL. I couldn't remember for sure that Jeff Altman was in that one and I totally forgot about Rick Hurst (shame on me!). LOL
  5. I love the Family Feud game show they did (there's another one with some cast from the Dukes too - Peggy Rea, the girl that played Maybelle and the guy that played Jeb Stuart Duke in that one episode. LOL). The best part is watching Sorrell Booke in this, who is so NOT like Boss Hogg on this thing. ROFL
  6. LOL. Welcome to HNet Elly May. I'd say y'all came to the right place. Khee!
  7. She did wear overalls in a couple of episodes. Off hand I can recall in Big Brothers Duke she wore overalls while showing that kid how to do some of the farm chores. I think she wore overalls in Happy Birthday General Lee too.
  8. Y'all can read the first chapter of this story in our fanfiction section! It's been so long since anyone's submitted any fics to us. ROFL http://www.hazzardnet.com/blog/dukes-of-hazzard-fan-fiction/ As you send more chapters in Elly, we'll post them up. MaryAnne
  9. I dunno about the fiddle (I reckon I could see Jesse with one) but I could really seen Uncle Jesse playing the mandolin.
  10. I always pegged "Happy Birthday General Lee" as having taken place in 1976. The episode aired in '84 and they say that they had had the General for 8 years. Infact, i believe if you look at the General's license plate it has '76 on it. The Dukes is full of inconsistencies. LOL I'm not all that sure Luke was in the Marines for only 4 years. Like Roger says, he was a Sergeant so I think he'd have been in a little longer that 4 years. For myself I have it that he enlisted (or perhaps was even drafted) in 1969 or 1970. As such, and to throw in my two cents on Cooter's age, if Nancy Lou was born in 1965 (Cooter's Girl aired in December of '83) and if Cooter was "just a kid at the time" say....16 or 17, then he would've been born around 1949/1950. (Making him near 30 when the show started in 1979). Luke, if 18 in 1969, would've been born in 1951. So he and Cooter are approximately the same age. If Bo was 18 in 1976 he would've been born in 1958. Then we got Daisy in between there somewhere. LOL. I put her to have been born 1955/1956, which would've made her about 20 at the time the got the General in '76. Again, this is all just my own explanation of the ages and what I use when writing my fics and stuff. LOL
  11. Congrats! Now on to Highschool! AAAAHHHH!!!! ROFL
  12. That's not weird at all. I think you'll find that a lot of DOH fans have very ecletic tastes in music, ranging from country music to rock to just about anything and everything in between. I also think you'll find that most, if not all, DOH fans like country music but are probably not necessarily strictly country music fans. Some are very big country fans and some are just casual fans.
  13. Hi Elly Mae, We've had discussions about that a few times here at HNet. Khee! Here's one of the threads... http://www.hazzardnet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7154 Welcome to HazzardNet by the way.
  14. The final chapter is now posted. Greaty story i1976!
  15. Welcome to HNet Miss Blu! If you go to the User CP you can set up your avatar there. We have a thread in the New User's Guide section of the board that talks about setting up an avatar. If you still have difficulties, just give a hollar and I'm sure somebody will give ya hand. MaryAnne
  16. How cool is that? Khee! Happy Birthday Wekke!
  17. I fixed the links in the photo caption thread. For some reason it had some of the code repeated (like %7Boption%7D tags and stuff).

  18. Here's something about everybody so far that's posted... They're all great Dukes fans!
  19. Well I if I understand the gist of this, I'm supposed to post something about you right? As you would be the person above me in this thread. So...lessee...I'm gonna say that you're a big Dukes of Hazzard fan!
  20. DaisyMae's correct, it is available on DVD with the second reunion movie with it. You can find it on sites like Amazon.com and such.
