A nylon ant creamer sounds like a fancy culinary tool that would be found on the late night infomercial. LOL Ran anomaly center. Despite that, I still go into the ditch every now 'n then. LOL

General Lee vs Gran Torino
I saw this clip a couple of years ago. I won't spoil the ending for those who haven't seen it, tho' I think y'all can guess who wins. LOL As a side note, Paul Michael Glaser talks about the Torino a bit on the first season DVD for S&H. He wasn't fond of the car's performance (or rather, lack thereof). Often, it seemed Starsky was always hitting the curbs when sliding to a stop. Apparently Glaser was doing that on purpose. ROFL

Smokey And The Bandit
If there's hundreds of General Lee replicas, I think we got hundreds of Bandit TA replicas. (As evidence from the photos in the link below) LOL I was cruisin' through this thread looking for something else when I saw the question about the Snowman's truck. I saw Hoss posted a link to a replica truck. I dunno if this truck is the same but there was at this year's Bandit Run.... http://www.thebanditrunphotos.com/2010%20picture%20page.aspx Man, if I coulda been in Atlanta, GA with a couple hundred Bandit TAs and other Firebird friends, I'da been happy! LOL

He's a retro cannibal in a carbon latrine. ROFL Mufn's really good at this. I didn't even recoginze Brian or hers until reading through the thread. Other than figuring out mine I figured out which one is Alex Jackson. I'm trying to figure out who the Grand Peon is. I thought that was supposed to be my other title... Khee!

Y'all Miss Waylon Jennings ?
I agree too. One of my favorite YouTube vids is the performance of "I'm a Ramblin' Man" from the Live in Austin, Texas CD (and DVD) from 1989. I think it's the opening number as he asks the audience, "Y'all say yer ready?" They cheer that they are. And he says... "ehhh, I ain't." ROFL. Then launches into a great version of that song. Definitely missed.

Dukes of Hazzard "doodle"
Hoss's General Lee artwork (which I think looks really good) reminded me of something I did on an old fanfic folder years ago (like 14 years ago...). Keep in mind y'all, I can't draw. What I ended up doing was tracing the two cars you see in the picture. What I can't remember tho' is what image I traced them from. The folder had started with the just the Confederate flag and the 01 box on it. Then I drew the crossed racing flags. Then I realized the rebel flag looked out of place so I started drawing the General around it. Then I had all that room on the back of the folder and thought, "I need Rosco's patrol car!" And thus, some cheesy fan art was born. Sure spruced up an otherwise plain white folder tho'. Khee!

Fan Art Forum!
Hey y'all, welcome our Fan Art forum! As per usual with most of HNet, there's no hard and fast rules here. Just a couple of things to keep in mind and most of this is off the top of my head and is subject to change. Because we can do that. 1. Please keep it clean. If you've been around HNet long enough you know what goes and what doesn't. Art is art, yes but please be aware that there may be some sensitive viewers out there. When in doubt, ask a mod/admin. 2. Please keep it Dukes related. That's kinda the point of the forum eh? 3. Artwork posted is the property of the person posting it. Please do not download the images you see here for other public use without permission from the artist.

Trivia Crossword
I concur with Roger, these crosswords are great! We've added them to the site under our Fun Stuff section. Directly accessed the crossowords can be found here: http://www.hazzardnet.com/blog/fun-stuff/hazzardnet-trivia-crossword-puzzles/ They're in PDF format, so provided you have Adobe Reader you can download and print these out. Thanks Hoss for puttin' these together!

Map of Hazzard County
What else do you need? I was surprised that Choctaw/Hazzard map lined up with a place in France. ROFL This other map showing Finchburg County (hmm... LOL) I can't make out enough to do any detective work myself. But based on the national forest land designations, I think Hoss has it right and Colonial City is Redding, CA. How's the Peugeot runnin' Lieutenant? ROFL

Breaker 1.... Breaker 1... I'm not crazy but I am new here...
I've seen some patrol car replicas that have a cover over the light bar (when driven on the road) that says "out of service." Dunno what state the car was in or from so I reckon you'll have to do some more researching. Hoss mentioned about the Hazzard cars being mostly '77 and '78. This is true, but I think I'm recalling correctly that the patrol cars in "Luke's Love Story" were '76s. Also, I think Rosco's patrol car in the flashback of "Happy Birthday General Lee is the '76. I could be wrong it's been awhile since I've seen the eps (shame on me!! LOL) Great to see a car from a Dukes fan went to a Dukes fan. Khee!

Which Wig Suits Boss?
ROFL! This is great! The wigs were a hoot in that episode! Ya really gotta give Sorrell credit. He wore just about anything and everything on the Dukes. The wigs. The disguises. And occasionally the white suit got trashed. ROFL

Map of Hazzard County
Okay, I couldn't resist this lil' mystery so I did some searching... First thing I did was I reversed the image so I could see the roads. Then I used Google maps to find anywhere there was a Pleasant Hill Road. Not the best road to start with as there are a lot of Pleasant Hill Roads in the US, but most where in California and Georgia. So, I searched for "Ygnacio" and matched with a town in California. As soon as I found Ygancio I found Highway 24, Pleasant Hill, Mt. Diablo Blvd, and St. Mary's Road, which match with some of the markings on that map from the screen cap. Thus, we're in Walnut Creek, CA. LOL. It's east of Oakland and south of Sacramento. I overlaid the Morgan's Airfield map on the Google map and turned it in the same direction. It matches up pretty well. Why I felt compelled to solve this little mystery, I dunno. But there you have it!

That's right. HNet can't afford to hire a cleanin' lady right now, the economy bein' what it is. In fact, it's so bad, we can't even afford to buy a mop and bucket! LOL

Hey y'all, Just a note to new users that your first post or posts will be moderated and they won't show immediately when you post. HNet is patroled pretty much daily by admin, but please allow admin time to catch up and approve posts before ya post the same post again. LOL Techncially, new users are moderated on their first 10 posts before they become a "regular" user, but if we can see you're a serious Dukes fan, we move ya over to regular status pretty quick so you can enjoy the site. That concludes this here public announcement. Carry on y'all!
