  1. ROFL! You don't outline either eh? Khee! I don't outline but I usually have something in mind for my ending. Then I just kinda let the muses go wherever, occasionally rein 'em back in, sometimes write myself into a corner, bust out of said corner, skip over large parts of the story, then go back and patch it, finish it, polish it and post it! It's a wonder I ever finish a fic. LOL
  2. Now there's a rare sight! The General Lee in snow!
  3. Month....old...deer sausage?! Damn, that'll inspire anyone.... preferably to not do that again! LOL Follow the inspiration, Val. (Just keep a check on the freshness of the venison, 'k?)

  5. Cold as Ice - Foreigner
  6. Your other favorite saying is "buzzards on a buzz saw!" You giggle like Rosco sometimes (guilty! ROFL)
  7. Oh, nobody special. I needed more Feds in Atlanta.
  8. Great photos! Mercedes has nothin' on the General Lee.
  9. BoJames, ya hit it right on the head. The "loopholes" and what authors do with those loopholes, and the fact that nobody can really critize you for attempting to fill in the backstory or take the characters in a particular direction is what sets us apart from some other fandoms, I think. I can't say I've ever really seen anyone bash another writer around here for creating a storyline that attempts to fill in that backstory of the Duke family (and storylines that take them beyond what we saw between 1979 and 1985. LOL). There's many possibilities and it's interesting to see what people come up with. There's a different atmosphere and collective mentality here. It's more positive and encouarging. We don't trash each other's characters, or storylines. We try to give honest constructive feedback. We did have that blow up about the RRs but only because we care about what we put out there. I've written stories in a couple of other fandoms but I always come home to Hazzard. (And in the case of one of the other fandoms I brought somebody back with me. ROFL)
  10. Welcome to HNet!
  11. Welcome to HNet! Nice Generals!
  12. Love is a Battlefield - Pat Benatar (posting the YouTube link is a neat idea. Gives us a chance to sample some of these songs we don't know. Now, having said that, I did neglected to get the YouTube link for my answer. LOL)
  13. Congratulations Hoss!
  14. Yes, I'm curious about this movie.... ...more or less because I'm sure it's proof positive that Faceman shoulda been driving a T/A on A-Team!
  15. I was stunned to hear this. I love several of his shows (Rockford Files, Greatest American Hero, A-Team, Hardcastle & McCormick) and I also enjoyed his novels. A huge creative talent who will be missed.
  16. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap - AC/DC
  17. Meee-eeeee aaaa-aaannd Mistah! Mistah Jones!! Mistahjonesmistahjonesmistahjones..... Ahem. Yes, I agree with Brian on that answer.
  18. I'll take one too!
  19. Awesome, Hoss! I love the screamin' chicken on the hood. Khee! (I did know the bird faced one way or the other depending on the car). I guess I never noticed in the episode that the Trans Am decal was covered with gaffers tape. ROFL. I reckon this was done for the same reason they pulled the "Plymouth" letters off the front grill of the patrol cars (or covered 'em up). I do know, now that I look my few (three) screen caps of the T/A, they also removed the Pontiac emblem from the nose of the car. I guess product placement was frowned on back then. LOL But, really, how much more product placement blatant can you get than a car with a big screaming bird on the hood?! ROFL
