  1. Hey y'all I was just wondering, did the sound stage General Lee,police car and various other cars have an engine and transmission in them? I dont mean like the bad guy's cars and cars used in one episode, but vehicles that were used throughout the series. Does anybody know if they had engines and transmissions?
  2. Welcome to HazzardNet EDGEFIND!!Y'all may notice we do things a little different here!
  3. Is it a 69 or a 68? What color is the interior? What size are the wheels? Does it have a rear view mirror and sun visiors? Are there any side markers in the fenders? Is there any damage under the car? Is the pushbar welded to the bumper and frame? Oh and welcome to HazzardNet,y'all may notice we do things a little different here!
  4. Hey y'all, I just got season 5 as a present from my sister.I'm just wondering what to expect.I know that most people don't like season 5 because Bo and Luke aren't in it,but the stunts are meant to be really good. I'm just wondering what y'all think of season 5 and why
  5. Thanks again HossC,I don't know how you managed to find that small road. You are,to quote Catherine Bach,a fountain of information!! You are also a die hard Duke fan!
  6. That house was used for about five seconds in The Great Santa Clause Chase. It was used when Luke leave a tree on a doorstep, and the little kid comes out,and Luke says "that there's a promise"
  7. No sorry I should have been more specific, I'm talking about when Vance is cutting apart the police car, that road that they're filming on.It was used again in Big Brother Dukes.
  8. Hey y'all. I just finished watching Comrade Duke.During the final chase sequence when the Dukes are rescuing Natasha, they are filming on a wide open plane that looks like a country highway. The location was used again in Big Brothers Duke at the start and end of the episode. My question is,where is that location?? From the mountains and soil it looks like it was filmed near Newhall,a couple of miles south of Indian Dunes. If anyone knows where it was filmed can you let me know?I'm curious to see the public locations and how they changed in the last twenty years. Thanks y'all It looks like it was also used in Deputy Dukes as well, during the part when the Dukes first get the ambulance.
  9. Ok thanks HossC,i don't know what I'd do without you!
  10. Hey y'all. You'll probably laugh at me for this but my pride and joy isn't your standard General Lee. My General is a push bike! But when I first got it it was in similar condition to the General Lee in Happy Birthday General Lee.Its frame was bent at the front (its a former stunt bike so that's not too surprising),the ball bearings were non existent, and part of the frame had rusted away. The previous owner explained that he stopping using it about 8 years ago, after he had bent the frame, and that the bike was about 20 years old. I bought it for €20 (about $35 i think),which was probably way more than I should have paid for it. As soon as I got it back to my garage,I immediately set to work, stripping the bike of its mechanics and paint.Luckly, because the bike had been exposed to the elements for 8 years the frame was relatively easy to bend back into shape. After I did that I set to work, with the help of my uncle, cutting out metal to weld over the rust hole. After all the body work was done,I moved my attention to the mechanics.Obviously, being a stunt bike, there were very few mechanics on the bike. But what was there didn't stand up to the elements,so I ended up replacing everything. After I rebuilt and stripped the bike,I started painting the frame.First white, then the familiar bright orange. All the decals were hand painted, and took quite a while to do. Once all the paints had dried and set,i rebuilt the bike. Amazingly, the bike actually felt and worked as if it had been built by a professional, and because all the parts were new,it was essentially a brand new bike! I'd post pictures but I don't know how
  11. Another one that has occurred in numerous episodes is when say Rosco is driving on a dirt road on the right side of the road.A car comes along going the opposite direction down the middle of the road and its always Rosco or whoever that ends up crashing into the bushes on the left hand side of the road. An example of this is in Happy Birthday General Lee,after the boys tow the black charger out of the junkyard,a car comes around the corner and the Dukes end up crashing through the bushes on the opposite lane side of the road.
  12. Good luck Roger, maybe pass the time by trying to watch the whole Dukes series in your free week! Sorry for being curious, but whats the book about?

  16. If I'm not mistaken it is also redressed as a hospital in season 5 episode Welcome Back,Bo and Luke. And this is a great thread,HossC.Thanks for taking so much time and putting so much effort into it.You're a true and strong Duke fan in my opinion

  19. Tinker (Mary Margeret Humes) in Mason Dixon Girls
  20. Sorry I didn't realise that swear words were censored but its oh s***
  21. Hey y'all. I've just finished watching Welcome Back Bo and Luke. Its always going to be one of my favourite episodes, mainly because it was one of the first ones i can remember But during the race between the Dukes and Pete Willis, when Rosco and Enos overtake Daisy and crash into each other,as their cars go flying into the lake a)it would make a great painting b)as Rosco and Enos are screaming,it sounds as if Enos says "ah-haha oh ****" Is that just me or does he say oh ****?

  23. You can't really tell if there's someone in the backseat of the middle and farthest General, but it definatly looks as if there is someone in the passenger seat of the middle General Lee
  24. Another blooper (if you can call it that) that i love is that you can see anything going on in Hazzard Square from any building
  25. Or when Rosco or Enos change from driving a Fury to a monaco or madator halfway through a chase
