  1. I wonder why they chose to use a different tunnel. The only reason I can think of is that the Witness for the Persecution tunnel relativity close to Golden Oak Ranch (which is where WB was at that time). Where as Lake Sherwood is much further north (if I remember correctly) so it must have made more sense to use the new tunnel.
  2. Haha I was hoping someone would catch that. Good boy-yes catholic-no
  3. Sorry I'm so slow uploading pictures. Anyway here's the remaining build pictures and a few from various cow paths and trails http://s1098.photobucket.com/albums/g368/GeneralLeeBike/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ16 No MaryAnne, they don't really care. The garage is practically mine, the only other things in the garage that aren't mine are a couple cases of beer
  4. Fantastic job Brian!! Sorry I forgot to mention it in my other post
  5. The trunk lid could have been used on one of the other furys that were used in Georgia That could be the 69 donor car, which was left behind in Georgia, and restored two years later and turned into one of the first General Lee replicas. I remember reading somewhere about a charger being built, but not used in Georgia. However it was a 68 charger, not a 69. Lee 4 and 6 were 68's if I'm correct.Lee four is seen doing a 180 degree turn in the woods in High Octane, and Lee 6 must have been the specially build car that never appeared in any Georgia episodes.
  6. If I'm not mistaken it was used briefly in Diamonds in the Rough. I cant remember exactly when, but i think it was just after Bo and Luke got the Bugs Bunny doll.
  7. Thanks Hoss. Im almost 100% sure that Enos isnt played by Sonny, and Cooter probably isnt played by Ben.I noticed that his hat is very low on his head and he seems a bit stockier than he does in the Boars Nest. I wonder why Sonny and Ben weren't in the final scene? Because Enos's and Daisy's Wedding and Opening Night at the Boars Nest were probably filmed at Valencia at the same time.
  8. I wonder who owned that car. Did any of the cast members own it? Or was it one of Warner Brothers background cars. Whatever the case I'd love to know what happened to it
  9. I just finished watching Enos's Last Chance. Just after Scanlon (or Scallion as Rosco called him) escaped from jail you can see his green Chevy parked in the background as he shoots at the tires. Also in Opening Night at the Boars Nest,as everybody pulls up outside the Boars Nest for the last time, you can see that Sonny isn't playing Enos, somebody else is. Watch carefully as boss turns away from the door, and "Enos" turns around. Maybe someone can post a screen cap or two of each?
  10. Wow thanks everyone, that was really unexpected!! I did finally get my General Lee finished, just hours before I went on holidays. I spent most of my time cycling while I was away, and am toying with the idea of trying to put a cb radio or dixie horn on the bike. I had a lot of free time so I watched most of the episodes from season 4 onwards. Like many other fans I was shocked to hear of Chris Mayer's sudden death Paul,Peggy and Chris gone within a few months of each other Anyway, heres a link to the rest of the General Lee build and a few from various trails I did.http://s1098.photobucket.com/albums/g368/GeneralLeeBike/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ16 Enjoy!!
  11. Thanks Hoss.I'm staying in a place called Mullaghmore in Sligo. Its a one street village that's surrounder by little country roads and wooded trails. Are you going away anywhere? :)

  12. Thanks Hoss,I'm going on holidays today so ill look into it when I'm away.

  13. I was going to buy a car horn off amazon or ebay.

I'm not going to use the bike everyday and park it outside while i go off somewhere. Did the bike horns last long?

    Are they still available?

  15. I was planning on putting the dixie horn on my General Lee bike that I've finished building.

Do you think it would work and look good?

  16. Hoss,I'm wondering if i could get your opinion on something I'm planning.

Do you think it would work, and look decent on my General Lee bike?

  17. Hey y'all. I'm hand stitching a leather saddle together and there are going to be a few wrinkles on the back of the saddle. My dad suggested I get a metal plate and put it over the wrinkles. I thought it was a good idea and then started debating over what to write on it. Finally at about 11 last night it hit me. S this morning I set off to the local jewelry store, and came back with a 1 inch by 3.5 inch piece of gold colored metal with the engraving CNH320 on it. Its basically a mini version of the Georgia licence plate that we see in high octane. I know some of y'all probably think its a stupid idea, but I remember a thread about someone building a General Lee,and somebody said "at the end of the day its your car,so you do as you please with it."
  18. Sorry I havent been on in a while, but the bikes coming on great. I've got most of the decals painted on,and it should be running by friday. Here's a link to the progress pictures http://s1098.photobucket.com/albums/g368/GeneralLeeBike/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ16
  19. Wow Roger are you sure you're ok?
  20. Well Brian it was over thirty years ago,so there might not be much left after 30 years sitting in a field. Its a shame that Cliff has passed away,he probably would have had a good few stories about the Dukes.
  21. Thanks MaryAnne, and Ill set up a photobucket and upload pictures this weekend. Update ********************************************* Today I went off to a local upholster, and picked up a meter squared of chestnut colored leather for €3!! It was more than I needed to cover the saddle, but I now plan on using some of it to cover the handle bar grips (its seldom that we have very hot weather and the bike will be stored in a garage,so the handles shouldn't heat up too much!!). Hopefully tomorrow I can find somewhere that sells primer and strong spray on glue.
  22. Hey y'all!! I've been a Dukes fan for as long as I can remember,so when the opportunity came last summer to build a General Lee bike I was more than willing. I worked round the clock, stopping only for food and sleep, for 3 weeks until finally my General Lee was complete. I had stripped the bike down to metal, and replaced every single part with a new part. I spent nearly every day of the summer tearing around the country roads of Sligo. Unfortunately just before easter, the General Lee was stolen from outside my school. Two weeks ago, I finally decided to accept that I wouldn't get the General back,so I began to look for a new frame to work on. Last Saturday I struck gold, and picked up a ten year old mountain bike for €20 (I know it seems pretty expensive for a 10 year old bike but it was rust free and ran like a dream). I set to work yesterday stripping it down to the frame, and today set to work stripping the original gold paint off. Tomorrow I'm going on the hunt for primer (its the only thing I haven't got) and will hopefully be painting the primer onto the frame on wednesday. Ill try and post pictures and keep y'all updated as I go along. My goal is to have the bike fully rebuilt by next friday (its a tight schedule i know) and ready to take on holidays with me.
  23. Welcome to HazzardNet amost!! Y'all may notice we do things a little different here
  24. Ok Hoss I'll give it a go. But I probably won't finish it!!
  25. Hoss, are you going to do a similar thread on the ranches now that you've finished the Hazzard Square thread? hahaha Seriously though, great job on the thread!!
