We used to do that a few years ago when we had a chatroom on HNet, although I think it was Saturday night. The problem for me is the time difference. I'm just about to go to bed and most of you guys are probably still at work!

DAVID Graf Better known as Tackleberry in the Police Academy movies, he played a bad guy in 'The Canterbury Crock'. Miss Crumbly let Cletus out of first grade.
-
Except that I already played BRUCE Howard, so we're looking for a 'C'.

I can't help much I'm afraid. I bought them as individual seasons, and mine are PAL/Region 2 formatted, so they may differ from those available in the US. None of the listings or reviews that I've seen for the sets you asked about mention being remastered, only repackaged. The descriptions do seem to vary in the number of discs they claim to contain - 33, 40 and 52 discs can all be found. My sets came with a couple of seasons on double sided discs, so that might explain the different numbers. While not ideal, I'd rather have double sided discs than reduced quality due to more episodes being squeezed onto each disc. There should be no more than three episodes per disc (side) plus the occasional DVD extra. The picture quality on my set is what I expected. It looks fine on TV, but you can see slightly ragged edges when viewed on my laptop.

BRUCE Howard Writer of over a dozen episodes of Dukes. He claimed that work was harder to get after Dukes started showing up on his résumé. That was after it took him three years to live down writing for Gilligan's Island! Yes, I played it about three weeks ago.

I think you're right. I was just pointing out that not every General was painted that color, and as you say, stunt cars were often painted with whatever orange was available.
-
You forgot to mention that the General was green in 'Southern Comfurts'. Regarding the color, apparently they used Big Bad Orange in the movies. For the series, it's widely published that the General was Corvette Flame Red, but I found a 2020 article which includes a video of Travis Bell on Ed Bolian's VINwiki YouTube channel. He claims to have color-scanned the trunk of the original General and found the color to be TNT Express. That's a color I'm familiar with because it was used by the TNT Express shipping company (similar to FedEx or UPS), and I'd often see their trucks on the motorway. It looks like TNT Express was bought out by FedEx nearly a year ago. Here's the video:

The image is similar to the one on IMCDb, but it's a screengrab that I made and host in my Photobucket account. I originally posted it in the Dukes of Hazzard Diecast Models thread.

I think it was the '73 Road Runner that they had trouble getting parts for, despite it being a later model. I'm pretty sure that the decision to switch to the Jeep was mainly because of the sponsorship, although it also meant that we got to see more of Cathy's legs! You should probably check out image hosting sites. Flickr lets you host up to 1,000 images for free. Here's a picture of the Satellite (which they painted to look like the later Road Runner):

Welcome to HNet, tmgomez. The car looks great. For anyone who's interested in buying the car, just be aware that the sale has no connection to HazzardNet. Any deals are between members.

It looks like I forgot to post a review of last week's Dutch Grand Prix - you can see the highlights here. This weekend was Ferrari's home race at Monza, Italy. Sadly, it was another race weekend spoiled by regulations and procedures. Nearly half the field had grid penalties for using excessive engine parts, but it took around four hours after qualifying before they decided the starting grid for yesterday's race. Home favorite Charles LeClerc started on pole, but championship leader Max Verstappen made it up from seventh to third by the end of the second lap. While Mercedes driver George Russell fought for a top-three place, his team mate Lewis Hamilton had to make his way slowly forward from 19th. The end of the race was the big letdown. Daniel Ricciardo had to pull his McLaren over with a few laps remaining. The stewards were slow to call a safety car and then only some of the back markers unlapped themselves, so the race finished behind the safety car with the two championship contenders at the front on the soft (fastest) tires. Even though Max Verstappen won his fifth race in a row, his team boss Christian Horner admitted that fans had been deprived of a last lap battle. Unlike NASCAR, F1 cars start with a set amount of fuel, so green–white–checker finishes might not be an option, but something needs to be done. Dutch driver Nyck de Vries won driver of the day. He drove a test session for Aston Martin in Friday's free practice 1 (FP1), and then got called up to drive for Williams when Alex Albon was diagnosed with appendicitis on Saturday morning (Alex is doing fine now after he suffered "post-operative anesthetic complications"). I think the commentators said that he's the first person to drive for two different teams in the same race weekend since the late-70s. He qualified in a respectable 13th place, but started in 8th after the grid penalties were applied to others. Nyck finished 9th to score two points on his F1 debut. Although the race was in Italy, many teams are British-based and several had tributes to the Queen on their cars. There was also a minute's silence before the race. You can see Monza highlights here. The next race isn't until the Singapore GP on September 30th, where Max Verstappen could theoretically win the championship with six races still to go.

Frog (I'm seeing a lot of Miss Piggy/Kermit memes at the moment) 9 brains and 3 hearts. I've seen another meme a few times recently that says "If Adam & Eve had been Cajuns, they would have eaten the snake instead of the apple and saved us all a lot of trouble."

Thanks, Roger. I never got to meet the Queen (I've saw her at a distance a few times when I was younger), but she's been a figurehead for Britain since well before I was born. Some people will say that a monarchy's an outdated concept in the 21st century, but having a non-political head of state pays dividends too. She hung on just long enough to meet the UK's new Prime Minister a couple of days ago. The Queen's oldest son, Charles, now becomes the King.

JONAS JONES (Cooter's friend) As I recall, Doc Petticord didn't appear in 'Duke vs Duke' - the nurse helped Cooter out of his office, which is when we saw the sign with his first name, but we didn't actually see the doctor.

I had a couple of 1:10 Tamiya RC cars in the '80s. I started with the Holiday Buggy and then moved on to the F150 Ranger. For the latter, I also had the wheels and VW Baja Bug body to make it into the Sand Scorcher. The Ranger and Bug bodies where quite hard plastic, but very detailed. Seeing the prices they go for now, I kinda wish I still had them! There is an original Kyosho Optima partially disassembled in a box at my parents; house, but it's been there for over 30 years and I can't remember what parts it needed. There's a guy I watch on YouTube who does great videos of the Tamiya 1:14 trucks. It's amazing how technology has progressed to have models with multiple working lights and realistic sounds. I'd love one, but doubt my modeling skills after so many years, and I'd struggle to justify the expense. Also, it'd probably end up as a "shelf queen"!

Very interesting video. I look forward to seeing the build videos.

There shouldn't be any disadvantage, Roger. I just leave my laptop and phone signed in all the time.

Thanks, dukes fan uk. I think at least one of the aerial images on the first of this thread may have come from Historic Aerials. I definitely refer to the site in the Hazzard Square thread.
