(Nowadays this reminds of Randy being dumped in 'My Name Is Earl' - I did find the clip on YouTube, but it was lousy quality where someone had filmed the TV)
I'm with you GLG. I've watched with the commentary, and I thought it was a funny, light-hearted remark by Tom. I read Daney's reply this morning and, more than 12 hours later I still can't see any relevance to the comment you posted. It sounds like some terrible things have happened in Byron's life, but he wasn't even mentioned in the OP.
This site names Larry McNeely as the banjo player. Amazon doesn't have much by him, and what's there is expensive. eBay has some LPs at various prices if you can play vinyl. I did find
on YouTube. None of these are directly linked to Dukes, but they may suit your needs.I've been watching some of season 1 recently, and had forgotten how much incidental banjo music there was. It seems to disappear in later seasons. I also wanted to know if it was available, but kept forgetting to look it up until I saw this post. If anyone has more information I'd love to hear about it.
Same here. Maybe we should ask the moderators for a lonely hearts section . All I want is a woman who likes Dukes and muscle cars, and has recently won the lottery (the last one's negotiable ).
I certainly enjoy some of Billy Joel's music. When I saw your post, I dug out my 1985 'Greatest Hits Vols I & II' double CD and gave it a listen. 'Moving Out (Anthony's Song)' is on CD 1, which for some reason never got played as much as CD 2.
brought a tear to my eye , and I had to listen to Tell Her About It to cheer myself up .Looks like I'm going to have to get Greatest Hits Vol III as I don't have 'Downeaster Alexa' (I remember this from 'Musical Chairs' last week sometime), 'An Innocent Man' or 'We Didn't Start The Fire'.
If you remember that episode, Frasier is taken snipe hunting by the boys from the bar. It's just a big trick to make him look stupid, but Diane doesn't want to embarrass him by telling him. If anyone else wants to see the episode it's here: The Heart is a Lonely Snipe Hunter Obviously the trivia question was too easy - I wouldn't have got it though. Bonus point to texasdaisy for getting Daisy's pseudonym. Q. In 'Money to Burn', who allegedly blew his stack when Bo brought his daughter home 2 days late from the hayride?.
Just so long as the walls you're hitting are brick ones, and not members of daisydukeXenosstrait's family . Looks like Friesen comes from the same root as Fries, and is either someone from Friesland, or an occupational name for a builder of dams and dikes - see more here: http://www.ancestry.com/facts/Fries-name-meaning.ashx I used to know someone who worked for a guy named Mr. Fries (pronounced 'freeze'). He didn't like people pronouncing his name like the potato snack, but one of his clients named Mr Berger took great delight in announcing his arrival by saying 'Berger to see Fries'. The same person then went on to work for a guy named Mr. Beveridge (pronounced the same as 'beverage') - you can't make this stuff up.
Apparently I'm a Luke Duke. It was spot on about my dark hair and blue eyes, but failed to spot that my waistline is starting to have Boss Hogg tendancies .
Wall is a reasonably common surname in Ireland. There's even a book tracing the history of the family from 1170 to 1970: www.thewallfamilyinireland.com 'Their name which is in all probability derived from that of a district in Normandy, was originally du Val or de Valle'.
I have watched Home Improvement, but it's not one of my favorites. However, I do like watching shows with members of the Dukes cast in. I've found both of Tom's epsiodes on YouTube:
Thanks for the letting us know.
A-ha, the first chink in the armor GLG . You were right about the prize money, but it was the Hazzard County snipe-hunting contest (reminded me of 'The Heart Is a Lonely Snipehunter' from season 3 of 'Cheers'). BTW texasdaisy - I'm quite happy if y'all get them right, but I do have fun trying to catch y'all out. Q. In 'Route 7-11', who was Yancy Peckinpaugh?.
