    I saw Tori Amos live at the London Palladium on her 'Under the Pink' tour (I guess about 1994). The show was just her and her piano - it was great. Here's Happy Phantom if you're unfamiliar with her. A couple of other talented pianists I would recommend are Ben Folds and Bruce Hornsby: The Way It Is - Bruce Hornsby & The Range (as sampled in 2Pac's 'Changes') Almost forgot a tune that's being used on a supermarket advert in the UK at the moment: On The Rebound - Floyd Cramer

    Sad news. I read about his death this morning, but the BBC report only mentioned the 5 years he spent on their medical drama 'Casualty'. I got as far as remembering him in 'Manimal', but had completely forgotten it was him who played Gaylord Duke until I saw the pictures.     I'm with you GLG. I've watched with the commentary, and I thought it was a funny, light-hearted remark by Tom. I read Daney's reply this morning and, more than 12 hours later I still can't see any relevance to the comment you posted. It sounds like some terrible things have happened in Byron's life, but he wasn't even mentioned in the OP.

    This site names Larry McNeely as the banjo player. Amazon doesn't have much by him, and what's there is expensive. eBay has some LPs at various prices if you can play vinyl. I did find on YouTube. None of these are directly linked to Dukes, but they may suit your needs.I've been watching some of season 1 recently, and had forgotten how much incidental banjo music there was. It seems to disappear in later seasons. I also wanted to know if it was available, but kept forgetting to look it up until I saw this post. If anyone has more information I'd love to hear about it.

    I certainly enjoy some of Billy Joel's music. When I saw your post, I dug out my 1985 'Greatest Hits Vols I & II' double CD and gave it a listen. 'Moving Out (Anthony's Song)' is on CD 1, which for some reason never got played as much as CD 2. brought a tear to my eye , and I had to listen to Tell Her About It to cheer myself up .Looks like I'm going to have to get Greatest Hits Vol III as I don't have 'Downeaster Alexa' (I remember this from 'Musical Chairs' last week sometime), 'An Innocent Man' or 'We Didn't Start The Fire'.

    If you remember that episode, Frasier is taken snipe hunting by the boys from the bar. It's just a big trick to make him look stupid, but Diane doesn't want to embarrass him by telling him. If anyone else wants to see the episode it's here: The Heart is a Lonely Snipe Hunter Obviously the trivia question was too easy - I wouldn't have got it though. Bonus point to texasdaisy for getting Daisy's pseudonym. Q. In 'Money to Burn', who allegedly blew his stack when Bo brought his daughter home 2 days late from the hayride?.
