Roger, I think you're confusing one bombing plot episode with another. The bomber was upstairs in 'State of the County' in season 3. These pictures are out of chronological order, but hopefully make more sense this way. We never see the bomber leaving the ground floor, but we do see Daisy starting to ascend the ladder. It's difficult to tell from this picture, but if you watch the scene you can see it's the ladder near the top left of the General in the plan view that Mark originally posted. This is the top of that ladder (we also see Daisy reach the top of the same ladder just after the previous picture). It looks like the back wall is closer to the ladder than it was downstairs, so maybe it's a partition. The walls are decorated with various car parts, and there appears to be some kind of bed in the bottom left. As the bomber walks to the front he passes the side wall which has several cardboard boxes and suitcases along it. The position of the wall would indicate that it's the left side wall of the gararge. At the front there is a window and an old gas price sign. This should be the window that is above the office. In the bottom left is the other end of the raised wooden divider that can be seen in the picture above. The final picture shows the bomber looking out of the window. It should be the left window, but is clearly the middle window because it's above the 'Service' sign. I'm not sure if this is just a simple continuity error, or if it's because they couldn't get the right shot of the window above the office.

Continuing with the 'man' songs: Mention Georgia, Warner Bros., Schneider and the '80s, and it can only be ... Cindy (in the days when she was still brunette) takes lead vocals on this track from 1980. Several of the commenters on YouTube think this is their best song - it's certainly up there with the best.

Guest vocals on this track are by Phil Oakey of The Human League. It was written by Jarvis Cocker of Pulp.

To give y'all an idea of how much things have changed in the world of motorsport safety over the last 50 years I thought I'd post this video. It's a BBC documentary about how the drivers of the '60s and '70s brought about many of the safety precautions and procedures we see today across a variety of motor racing. It starts with three-time F1 World Champion Jackie Stewart explaining that when he started racing there was a 2 out of 3 chance he'd die. He became one of the leading advocates of race safety. A bit of English folk from 1987 for y'all. I could only find recent live versions of this on YouTube, and this was the best. I saw them live twice in the early '90s - glad to see they're still going.

Thanks for passing on the news Garrett. I've been watching various other motorsport this weekend, and didn't get a chance to see the race. It looks like a horrendous accident, and it's lucky more weren't badly hurt. Here is USA Today's article on the accident. Push bars are usually available on ebay, although there were none for sale when I checked last week. I've just checked again and there's now two for sale; a kit for $349 and an assembled, but unpainted one for $399. These are more expensive than the second link posted by MaryAnne (I couldn't find a price for the first), but both are meant to be replica General Lee push bars rather than generic ones. These three bloopers all fall into the category of visible equipment, ie. equipment that should be out of sight. In 'Gold Fever' this car flips during the chase scene with Dr. Homer Willis's RV. The explosion blows away the foliage that was covering the pipe ramp, leaving it exposed. In 'Duke vs. Duke' Flash raises her ears when Rosco tries to jump to victory at the end of the race. It doesn't come out too well in this screengrab, but if you watch the scene you can clearly see that there's a thin black wire pulling the ears up (I've arrowed the visible one on the left ear). In 'Ding, Dong, the Boss Is Dead' the Dukes have to stop Boss's runaway coffin. The coffin then sails through the air and ends up in a tree/bush. In the long shot there is no tree/bush anywhere near the spot where the General blocks the coffin's path. Additionally, the coffin follows an arced trajectory due to the fact that it's swinging on a very obvious cable.

I've posted the full video, but the song (as it appeared on the album) doesn't start until about 50 seconds in. The guest vocalist, and disembodied head in the video, is Shaun Ryder from the Happy Mondays. I've read in a couple of places that the song was going to called 'It's There', but Shaun's strong Manchester accent made it sound like 'It's Dare' so they changed the name. To keep in with the Japanese theme, the single was titled '挑戦 (Dare)'.
