  1. I've had "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" running through my head for the past few weeks.

Oh, I actually understand Brian quite well. Ain't dat a scary thought? LOL.
  3. I may have found a loophole in that Claus, er... Clause. LOL. So, we need some clarification. Is that no mention of "Santa Claus" meaning the proper name (i.e. you can say "Saint Nick", "Father Christmas", "Kris Kringle", etc, etc) or no mention of the "person" regardless of name variations?

BAHAHAHAHA!!! So true, Roger. Tho' there are a few Dukes fans I still don't understand either... LOL.
  5. Beautiful paintings, arty! Congrats on the sale.
  6. Awesome, TomBo!! Thanks for sharing those pics.
  7. Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! I hope you all had a great turkey day!
  8. Brian and I have a bit of insight into what goes on to put together a DukesFest. And believe me, it's the economy. We were surprised they even had DukesFest this year, what with $4 a gallon gas. It must've cost a fortune for the fans to get there, let alone the General Lee owners that gave rides. Now, since it appears we all agree that it's the ECONOMY now, Emy, could you just leave this thread alone? All you seem to be doing is antagonizing the other folks trying to have a discussion here. DukesFest would not have continued if John and Elly hadn't taken it over. That's a fact. We're lucky the fans got one more year out of it. Any more DukesFests will be a bonus. And the rest of you, I know Emy can be trying sometimes, but please keep the conversation a little more civil. Insults are not needed.
  9. We're not asking for things to be the way they were. I think things have changed significantly. We're realists and know that things will never be the same. All we're asking is for you to be open to dialog and see where it goes. Like Sheep said, there's no timeline involved. Relationships take time. And yes, they do take patience. I have advised Alex to have patience in all this (it's a virtue, after all) and let you decide when the time is right to talk. What worried me was that it didn't seem like you were even considering talking, so that's why I've been trying to encourage dialog between you two. I'm sorry if it seemed like pressuring, as that wasn't my intention. I just don't like seeing conflict between folks I like and admire. Your last post has given me some encouragement. A slow start is better than standing still. And if I haven't already mentioned it yet, welcome back!
  10. Nice try, Bri. You obviously haven't seen my yard... LOL. However, in this economy, hedonism travel packages might be a nice little niche sideline for ya. People are gonna want to forget their miseries and at 20% off, folks can afford to.
  11. As hard as it might be for some of you to believe, I don't enjoy conflict or drama. LOL. If there's any way for things to be resolved, I hope you guys will try. And Brian, how come I wasn't invited for a night of hedonism?
  12. Very well said, Sheep. I concur.
  13. Doc, Alex, you both should take Brian's advice. Alex has made it clear to me that he wants to resolve things and be friends again with you, Doc. If you are sincere in your apology, and I have no reason to believe you aren't given Sheep's and Brian's posts, you will take him up on it and TALK. Friendships need to be constantly worked on and nourished, through good times and bad. I will keep this thread open until everyone involved agrees they want it closed.
  14. I think you should reconsider that decision (and probably read the rest of the thread before you comment). You two need to talk privately, openly, and honestly. It's clear there have been misunderstandings that need to be resolved.
  15. Great! Drinks are all on Brian!
  16. I understand where you're comin' from, but sometimes more open and honest communication can be done behind closed doors, that's all I'm sayin'.

  18. I wasn't planning on deleting it. My point was that I think this is the business of those involved and not the business of the rest of the HazzardNet members. If you would like me to create a private forum to facilitate discussion among those involved, I will do so.
  19. Well, we'll have to agree to disagree on this, Brian. Somethings are best done in private. I'm sure there's plenty of private angst you (and I and plenty of others) have preferred to not air in public. I think y'all need to take this into IM or something. This isn't "How HazzardNet Turns".... LOL.
  20. It's always nice to see familiar faces back again after a long absence, but I think you need to discuss this in private with all the individuals involved. Good luck!
  21. I'm all ready to . How 'bout you? LOL.
  22. I agree. Feel free to talk about it via PM if you can do so respectfully and civilly, but we prefer not to get into public political discussions on HazzardNet to avoid any heated exchanges that will inevitably result.
  23. Ok, ok. Winner will get a bona-fide ghost radar. LOL. It'll help ya keep track of the one left as a ghost. http://www.ghostradar.co.uk/
  24. I like the spook-off idea. The loser gets, as a parting (departing?) gift... GHOST POOP!! That's as charitable as I get tonight.
