  1. Howdy, folks. We've got a new forum for off-topic discussions in case any of you are inclined to want to discuss something other than the Dukes of Hazzard.
  2. What happens in Nashville, stays in Nashville.
  3. Actually, Jimmie'd probably fit right in here. You'd know that if you ever heard his story about the weasel farm. (inside joke)
  4. *ahem* I think y'all need to get a room. LOL. Lemme see if there are any vacancies in our private forums... Khee!
  5. Longer'n that. LOL. In fact, I think the whole concept was flawed if we're goin' for the family-friendly crowd. ROFL
  6. Have you not been paying attention? LOL. Rosco_Lover thought *I* was a guy too, so I guess it don't matter much. LOL.
  7. *raises hand* My fault. I blame the painkillers I was on for my back. Khee!
  8. 7 1/2. LOL. I know someone probably won't finish theirs on time!
  9. Daney, you don't know Jack. ROFL.
  10. Folks, we are in the process of cleaning up signatures that do not adhere to our signature rules posted here. 11. Am I gonna have to turn the hose on y'all? LOL.
  12. Was that you on "K-9 Eye for the Hazzard Guy"? I thought that guy looked familiar...
  13. Yep! Sure have. Actually, MaryAnne's written a fan fiction sequel (or two) to Hooper. It's on DukesofHazzardFanFic.com.
  14. Oh, we can't go havin' people be nice around here. Next thing you know there'll be Dukes marrying Coltranes and the whole place will be a mess! ROFL. Seriously tho', that IS nice. Thanks for doing that. Hopefully, I'll have some new images up by the weekend... probably some more Hooper, Firecreek, and Left Handed Gun (if I can find it.. it's been missing).
  15. Yeah, he ends up getting his car repossessed while he's over visiting Andy's house. Quite embarrassing. LOL. I like both episodes, but I think The Guitar Player Returns is my favorite of the two.
  16. You will enjoy it. Budd Boetticher, the director of Ride Lonesome, also directed some other movies Jimmie was in, The Cimarron Kid and Seminole.
  17. Jimmie's and Sorrell's adlibbing were some of the best parts of the show. They made the writers look good. LOL.
  18. Jimmie makes a good point. He adlibbed a lot of his lines. As he said on the CMT special, if the lines were good, the writers took credit for it. If they fell flat, they'd say "that SOB is adlibbing again!" LOL.
  19. Just upload them to the gallery. http://www.hazzardnet.com/gallery/ I have some Hooper stills too. "My wood's dead." ROFL.
  20. Jimmie used to play the heavy (bad guy) in a lot of old westerns. I counted it up once and I think he dies in about a quarter of the movies he's in. LOL. He told me that he edited together all of his death scenes. I wonder if he still has that video. That's gotta be pretty funny. I tell everybody to buy/rent The Left Handed Gun starring Paul Newman. Jimmie and Denver Pyle are both in it and Denver's character blows Jimmie's character's head off. Aren't ya glad they at least tolerated each other in Dukes? ROFL.
  21. Ah! I should've known that was a Bonanza. I've seen that episode before. It's been ages. Anybody seen the I Spy episodes with Jimmie or the "Charlie Noon" episode of Gunsmoke?
  22. All of the above. ROFL. I'll trade ya! I have some stills from Shenandoah, in particular one from a scene right before Jimmie's character gets a bullet right between the eyes. "I never seen nobody get so peevish over a cow before." LOL. I've got a ton I picked up from a shop in Hollyweird that I should scan in. I'll upload 'em to the gallery when I get 'em scanned.
  23. Good guess. That's what I'd put my money on. It's been forever since I've seen some of Jimmie's westerns. Perhaps I should dig 'em out and pop some popcorn tonight....
