Merry Christmas, y'all! I was reading my first post (about having 3 colds). Wow, history repeats itself. I have had three colds since the beginning of November, the latest starting just last night. Ugh. Anyway, I hope you all have a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Howdy, folks! I will be attempting a software update on the forums this weekend, most likely Saturday. If all goes well, we'll have spiffy new forums. If all doesn't go well, I'll be rolling back to the current forums software. Wish me luck! I'm going to need it.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing those pics. I've been to three DukesFest, so needless to say, I've seen a lot of General Lees. Growing up, there was a guy that owned a General Lee not far from my best friend's house. Lucky guy.

That is one gorgeous car. I love the subtle numbers. I agree, it would be a shame to take that vinyl top off.

Just an FYI, I'm in the process of moving inactive forums to Hogg's Heavenly Acres, a read-only section where old forums will be preserved, but can't be replied to. If a forum ends up there and there's a thread in it that you think is worthy of reviving, let me know and I'll move it to another appropriate active forum.

Nice photos, Hoss! Magnum, PI was one of my favorite shows so I was excited to see the Ferrari. A lawyer in my hometown had a 308 in the late 80's. I got to see it often on my drive to school since his practice was right near the high school.

Roger, see the Twilight Zone episode "The Obsolete Man". It's over 50 years old, but even more relevant and scary today. Spike, the commercial never showed the top of the General to begin with. They were very careful with the angles that they shot it at precisely because of the flag.

For the past 19 years, I've wished Jimmie a happy birthday. There were some years when I'd send him the latest first person shooter video game and we'd play. Those were good times. It's very strange... it doesn't seem like he's really gone and I guess, in a way, he isn't. He's on my tv nearly every week and I have plenty of great memories. Happy Birthday, Jimmie. We miss you.

TVLand dumped Dukes of Hazzard from their schedule. It's still listed on their online schedule, but they removed it from their list of shows on their site and aired another show instead. I'm sure it's because of the Charleston shooting. What an overreaction. I guess we can forget ever seeing the show on tv again or any release of it in HD or bluray.

Hoss, did Firefox recently update? I'm wondering if it's a Firefox thing rather than a forum thing. Have you tried it on other websites?
