  1. I was just listening to this album last week because I'd heard about the 50th anniversary. I love the Beatles. That's a neat coincidence. I'm gonna go listen to that song right after I post this. As for trying a little harder to get Fan of the Month, in my defense, I was probably too sick. LOL. But, don't worry. I get by with a little help from my friends.
  2. I think Jimmie and I did this once, but I didn't have a rose in my teeth. LOL. He was a lot of fun. I miss him immensely.
  3. Me too! Hubby and I have two dreams, we'll settle for either one: a beach house or a ranch where we can have LOTs of animals, including little piggies.
  4. Aww shucks. Thanks, Rog. The Fan of the Month was meant for other folks on the site, but I graciously accept. I am working on getting better. I'm still dealing with some pain, inflammation, fatigue and cognitive issues, but starting to feel a little bit better. My doctor has decided this is a bit over her head and referred me to a specialist. Hopefully, I can get in to see her before September (that's how far she's booked out). I have a week of vacation coming up, so hopefully I'll get plenty of rest and relaxation and feel better. Thank you. As if that wasn't enough, I just got new glasses with progressive lenses so I don't have to keep taking my glasses off or readjusting where I hold books to be able to read. Feeling like an old fart lately. LOL.
  5. I'm hoping I will be soon. It's an autoimmune flare-up. I'm trying to get into remission again and having a difficult time.
  6. It's fine with me if you start it up again, Rog. I really appreciate you guys keeping this ol' place going. I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've been very ill the past six months or so and struggling just to keep up with my job, which is very stressful at the moment. I do come by and check on the place from time to time and I'm happy to see you guys are still here.
  7. To comply with FTC regs and such, we've added a Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to the forums. You'll notice when you login, you'll be asked to accept the terms. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  8. Ok, the site has been moved to a new server and the forum update is complete. Please let me know if you run into any issues by posting in this thread or contacting me: http://www.hazzardnet.com/about-us/contact-us/
  9. I'm planning on updating the forum software this weekend, April 8th. It might be unavailable for a short while.
  10. I would love to see a project like that done, however, you're sure to run into licensing issues with Warner Brothers if they get wind of it.
  11. Thanks for sharing that! So awesome. I hope I can get out there eventually.
  12. I was kind of bummed Atlanta lost. They had it. I think Atlanta beat themselves and New England took advantage of their mistakes. You can't let up on the Patriots, even if you're ahead by 3 scores. I think Atlanta had a much tougher schedule this season, playing better teams than New England had to face.
  13. Aaron Rodgers has the flu or something. I heard 15 of the Steelers came down with some bug too. I'm really starting to wonder if there isn't some germ warfare going on. LOL. I am REALLY hoping the Steelers beat the Patriots, but with that much of the team sick, doesn't look promising.
  14. Well, that's nice of you to say, Rog.
  15. I just remembered that I took a photo of it tonight.
  16. They still have Christmas lights (blue and green, of course) up at Centurylink Stadium and I walk past them every day after work. It gets me a little sad, since it's a reminder that the holidays are over.
  17. I have a soft spot for birds, so I'm hoping the Falcons beat the Packers, even though they beat my 'hawks. Well, mostly we beat ourselves last weekend. Ugh. I don't like the Patriots or the Steelers (sorry, Rog), but I'm hoping the Steelers beat the Patriots this weekend.
  18. Thanks for the input guys. I am kind of leaning toward the MediaWiki option, though I've been playing around with some of the features of InvisionBoard and I'm tempted to just move everything, including the blog, into the forum software and moving the forum to the root of the site. I think what I will do is get things to a point where I can let you guys play around with both and give me more input on which you prefer after actually getting to use the functionality. I am planning to keep editing just for veterans for now. Besides, I think the only folks who come 'round here anymore are veterans. And I appreciate you guys keeping this place alive.
  19. Suggestions are always welcome. Unless, of course, it's to suggest I take a long walk off a short pier or things like that. LOL.
  20. Sadly, I read this week that Invision is doing away with the chat room effective April. If you all are interested in keeping chat functionality, I'll look into alternatives.
  21. There are a few options for the wiki a few of us have discussed, so I thought I'd put them out there so those interested can talk about it and help make the decision. 1. I can install and customize MediaWiki (what Wikipedia runs on). I may be able to put together a single sign on so folks wouldn't need a separate login from their forums login. This would be the most difficult option to put together and I may not be able to get it to look exactly like the rest of the site. 2. I can set up wiki like pages in the forums. Folks would be able to use their forum login, since it would be a part of the forum. I wouldn't have to customize much at all since it would use the same forum templates. This is the easiest option, but the downside is that the wiki would be a part of the forums and not in a separate wiki directory. I can put together some samples. 3. I can install different wiki software like DocuWiki. I'm willing to try others if anyone has suggestions. 4. I can set up another WordPress install with a wiki template/plugins. What do you guys think?
  22. Well, hubby took the outside Christmas lights down yesterday. I was not happy. We still have our artificial Christmas tree up though.
  23. That's why we leave them up until February. LOL!
