  1. I'm going to do some walking today, trying to get my strength back. Enjoying the sunshine and quiet in our backyard, well... except for all the baby starlings that make a ruckus at our feeders now and then.
  2. My husband saw a lady wearing a Dukes of Hazzard shirt in the grocery store the other day. He told her, "I LOVE that show!"
  3. Enjoy your weekend, Roger! We'll be doing some grilling if the weather is good. Other than that, not a whole lot of plans.
  4. Ok, forum software has been updated AGAIN. Also, I updated our privacy policy to bring it into compliance with GDPR. Remember the days when you could run a fun community website and not have to pay a lawyer? I miss those days. The server move will probably happen sometime this weekend.
  5. I love my mother-in-law too. We get along great. She treats me like the daughter she never had.
  6. Well, it's a good thing my mother-in-law came to visit and I put off updating the software, because there's ANOTHER update. LOL. I'll be updating sometime in the evening in the next few days.
  7. I hear Laurel. My husband and his mom both hear Yanny, though hubby says it sounds like Yammy. I have some hearing loss from working around server racks, so that would explain why I can't hear the higher pitched Yanny.
  8. You can say that again!
  9. I linked it for you.
  10. It figures, the day after I finally upgrade the software they come out with another update. I will be bringing the site down for a short while in the next day or so to 1) update the software and 2) move the site to a new server. I'll try to do it late at night to cause the least amount of disruption. With the server move, however, it may be up to 24 hours for the DNS updates to propagate across the internet.
  11. I'll look into that. After the upgrade, there were borders around EVERYTHING and it was kind of annoying. Fixing that probably blew away the post borders.
  12. 1969 Dodge Chargers, even ones that need a lot of work, go for a pretty penny. I've seen non-running rust buckets go for more than $5000.
  13. Awww, shucks. Thanks, guys.
  14. I updated the forums tonight. Looks like functionality is ok, but some of the colors might be wonky. I'll try to clean it up in the morning. In the meantime, if you find any issues, please post them here or PM me.
  15. Ok, I think that fixed it. Let me know if the problem continues.
  16. Yeah, I had a flare start in late 2016 and have been on a rollercoaster ever since. I was diagnosed when I was 10 though, so been dealing with it off and on for several decades.
  17. I've been watching a LOT of Olympics. Getting over my second bout of the flu this year while still dealing with horrible autoimmune issues. But, I'M STILL ALIVE AND KICKING! LOL.
  18. Well, we expected about an inch of snow and that it would melt in time for us to go over to my sister's for Christmas dinner and my birthday party. We ended up getting about 3 1/2 inches of snow and in our area, that's "snowed in" because they don't plow the mile of road from our house to the main arteries. No BBQ Christmas dinner and cheesecake dessert for us. We made the best of it though, made a snowman. Hubby made fudge and raspberry cream pie. He's throwing together some last minute chicken and stuffing for dinner. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
  19. Merry Christmas! It's snowing here, we're watching "A Christmas Story", and I'm eating a candy cane. Perfect. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
  20. Nope. I'm north of where the crash occurred. When I go into the office, I take the northbound train to Seattle, the Sounder. The crash was Amtrak. I've seen those things go flying through at insane speeds and I'm frankly quite surprised there haven't been more accidents. I feel really bad for the victims and their families, as this should never have happened. Those trains can't go through 30 mph curves at 80 mph.
  21. I have been online for 24 years. Net neutrality rules have only been in place in the US since 2015. Attempts by ISPs to throttle or otherwise mess with their customers' online experience over the years have been met with lawsuits and the government has generally sided with customers. Since 2015, I've noticed less competition (i.e. there are fewer options for internet in many areas). People I know in rural areas have actually lost home internet access and have to drive a half hour into town or more to use libraries or free wifi at local businesses. I don't think you have a lot to worry about. In other words, the Internet did just fine for the 46 years before net neutrality rules were in place. I think it'll be fine with the rollback.
  22. I went to physical therapy. I'm going to be sore tomorrow...
  23. I'm afraid I'm not very familiar with those originals. I did grow up watching some British tv and watch BBC America occasionally now. "The Avengers" is one of my favorites. When I was younger, I watched a lot of "Are You Being Served?", some "Doctor Who" (mostly Tom Baker), and Monty Python (of course).
  24. We bought a treadmill. And right after that, we went and ate some BBQ.
  25. Mel Tillis has died at the age of 85 after a long illness. https://www.msn.com/en-us/music/news/mel-tillis-country-entertainer-and-songwriter-dead-at-85/ar-BBFbPe6?OCID=ansmsnnews11
