Wow! You sure know a lot of stuff about this, don't you General slot car! I'm really impressed, and I'm learning a ton of interesting stuff about this that I never knew before. Now it makes me want to try doing this hobby. I don't own a General Lee that I can drive, so having these miniatures to race around would be down-right fun! Thanks for all the info. I'd be happy to see and hear anything more that you know about this! Laura Duke:D

Wow Roger! You certainly are precise when you take on a project, aren't you? Well, please write on here every so often to keep me up-to-date! I can't tell you how curious and excited I am about you doing this project. Also, if you figure out how, I would LOVE for you to put some pictures up of your finished map-even though that's going to be awhile from now! Just keep me up to date! Also, I haven't seen you around lately. How's everything going for you, Roger? Laura Duke:D

Hey Lizzy-Jackson, I must admit, I wasn't expecting that question! I'm not trying to discourage you from asking questions or anything, but couldn't this get as confusing as Rosco trying to chase the Dukes? I'm not trying to sound disrespectful or anything. I just mean, some people have identities that might sound like it's a guy or girl, when actually they are the opposite that you think. Hopefully you can understand what I'm saying. Plus, it's online, so how can you meet the person, and find out if you really like a person? Plus, age is a huge factor. You don't know how old someone is, you could be talking about a teen or about an elderly person. Which, also makes it complicated. On top of that, you don't know how some people will take to someone else saying they would like to date a person, it might be an uncomfortable situation. Like I said, I'm not trying to cut down you or your question, I was just trying to make a point that it could get confusing. I guess, that in regards to your question, I really can't answer it since I don't know! Have a great day everyone! Laura Duke:D

Aww, what a great note, Brian! It was so nicely put. Well, you moderators certainly have put a lot of time and energy into this for us. So, without you guys, we wouldn't have this site. A HUGE thanks goes to the three of you. All of you do so much, and you never want a thanks for it, or take any of the credit. But, seriously, you deserve it! Thanks to everyone for being such a great group of people! Laura Duke:D

Well, Peggy and Lulu, this is for you: Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday, Dear Peggy! Happy Birthday to You! Sure do hope that you had a wonderful day! Laura Duke:D

Welcome Kelly! I didn't know that you had been posting before, so I'm sure glad that you were able to introduce yourself. It's so glad to have another Hazzard fan that has now come and said hello! This is really a great group of people, so I'm sure that you'll get the swing of things real soon, if you haven't started to yet! Again, welcome! I'm so glad that you joined us. I see you met Roger, he's one of the jokers in the group. Stay away from him, he can be trouble! Talk to you soon! Laura Duke:D

Brian, Thanks for the info! It was really interesting and exciting to hear! I sure hope that he makes it to Dukesfest. But, in another thread, didn't you say that you thought that he wouldn't be coming to Dukesfest because you think that he'll have another Broadway gig that he was kind of working on? Plus, I thought you said that the concert with Tom and John on May 10th was canceled-I can't remeber why that was canceled, but I thought that it was mentioned. Talk to all of you soon! Laura Duke:p

Who Here On Hazzardnet Owns A General Lee?
Laura Duke replied to traintownofcowee's topic in The General Lee
Well, even if the interior is black, and not tan-it's still an AWESOME car! Now there's one car I wish I had! You've done such a great job repairing it. And, I can't believe how nicely waxed the car looks. It's absolutely amazing, you should be so proud of it! Boy, I sure do wish that I had one! Laura Duke:D -
Wow Emy-Rae! What a great note. I really liked it a lot. I think it's so cool, that through this website, you were able to make all these new friends. And, to think you were going to leave. Sure glad you didn't! I have a question. Did your mom pass away or something, you have the note with the candles. Just wanted to make sure everything's okay with you. Laura Duke:D

Hey there Roger! I would love to make a map of Hazzard, the only thing is, I'm terrible at decision making! I would have an ulcer trying to figure all of this out by myself. If someone was with me, helping me out, then I could do it. But, I think that I would be awful at it if I had to figure it all out on my own-I would be overwhelmed! My hat off to you, you are accomplishing a huge project, and I sure hope that it turns out wonderfully. And, I'd be happy to help you in any way I can! I'd like an update. Did you start working on it yet? How far are you? If you know how to, and it's alright, I'd love to see some pictures on your progress. I just need an update! I've been so curious! Laura Duke:D

Wow! Awesome egg, TomBo! I wish I thought of something that clever! How did you think of that? Thanks for sharing! I can tell you exactly where the jelly beans went to JulieDuke, they were eaten by General. You know, the person with the CHOCOLATE covered face (don't believe for one second that General fell into the mud!) Isn't that like a typical Hogg-blaming me, a Duke. If Roger is a Duke, than so am I! I didn't even start this argument. By the way, thanks to everyone who popped in to say happy Easter to me. I also hope that everyone had a fabulous Easter. I wish all of you that. Laura Duke:D

Who Here On Hazzardnet Owns A General Lee?
Laura Duke replied to traintownofcowee's topic in The General Lee
That's what I was wondering, too, JulieDuke. Does a die-cast count? Plus, I have another Duke of Hazzard car that plays Dixie. I love it my two General Lees! I spent a year or so on it, and I haven't gotten very far on the one. Plus, I'm going to be hooking up a Dixie horn in my Chevy Blazer-can't get any closer than that combination. So, I have a good time. Cool interior pictures, TimDuke. It does look a little different than the real General, though. Do you drive the General around a lot? Talk to all of you soon! Laura Duke:D -
Well, General. Perhaps you are Boss Hogg. You are stealing things from us (my bag of chocolate that Emy-Rae gave to us and the chocolate coconuts that Roger had-that you ate!) Plus, you are pouting just like Boss Hogg and blaming us when you are the one causing the problems! Roger and I must be part of the Duke family, always defending our honor. Right, Roger? Emy-Rae, as I said before-General ate my bag of chocolate. Can't you see chocolate smear all over General's face? Laura Duke
-
Hey Everyone! Speaking of Boss and Abe Hogg, I have a question about them again. What were their parents like-were they kind or a scamming couple? Plus, with two different kids-one corruptive and one kind-how did the kids manage taking care of two different people? Laura Duke

Sorry it sounds like everyone's leaving, because it's far from that. I guess it can sound like I'm leaving at times, but that's just the way I write. I try to be as honest about how i feel about people as possibe. I think that's so neat how you've found so many friends, LizzyJackson-Davenport. It kind of does look like Christmas instead of Easter, JulieDuke! Laura Duke

Who would you hang out with in Hazzard?
Laura Duke replied to LoriDavenport's topic in General Discussion
I agree with Garrett Duke-that's a toughie! But, I would probably say the Duke farm. I would love hearing some of the knowledge/stories/humor that Uncle Jesse has. Plus, it would be fun to help with their barn chores. Then, I could go with Bo and Luke in the General Lee-they might even let me drive it (Well, I don't know about that-but I would hope they would!). Daisy would be such a blast to be around, I always enjoy her. Oh, and Miz Tizdale-she would be awesome to meet! Maybe I'd chat with Enos too for a while, before I had to run from the law with the Duke family! Laura Duke;) -
Who Here On Hazzardnet Owns A General Lee?
Laura Duke replied to traintownofcowee's topic in The General Lee
What a great idea for a thread, traintownofcowee! This was so much fun to read. TimDuke, your General looks amazing! I'm jealous! One of these days, I would love to restore a General. Yes, I agree with Captain D, if you have some pictures of the inside of the General, I would be tickled to see them. As for TomBo, once you are done with the paint job, please send some more pictures, I can't wait to see it when it's painted up! I think a bike painted like the General Lee is awesome! If you have any pictures of that, I would love to see that! The only thing I have are models that I'm painting up of the General Lee. And a Dixie horn in a SUV. But, it helps! Laura Duke -
Hey Everyone! Happy Late Easter! It sounds like everyone had a wonderful Sunday! I think this is such a neat post, so share your stories on how your family celebrates Easter! Our family always makes it really special. While the most important thing is family, the second is the: FOOD!!!!! And, the food is always really great! This year, since I was no help in making dinner, I decided to take some napkins and make lilies out of them, and then put them inside a wine glass. Although, I didn't quite understand how to fold the napkins correctly, so they looked more like little fans! But, it still looked neat. Roger, I'm glad you caught the little grubby-handed coconut/chocolate snatcher! She's always eating everone's food. Then, she thinks she's so clever to say that she wouldn't do such a thing, and then she says she puts one in her mouth! What do you think of us as General Grant-do you think that we are that slow! Watch out, and hold on closely to your bag of chocolate that Emy-Rae gave us (which, thanks for the thought, but I didn't get mine. I think I need another bag-General Grants in the corner like a trapped possum eating all of mine up!) Talk to all of you soon! Laura Duke

Wow! You sure know a lot about this! I didn't know all of that, see-you taught me something new already! But, I didn't think that John Schneider sold the car on ebay for $4.5 million. I thought that someone said that they would pay that, but it was a scam and a joke. So, it screwed up the whole ebay sale, and he took the car off that market, and sold it at an auction, which must have been for $400,000? Am I right on this? Or am I stuck out in a pond? I like the sound of your mama, she sounds really smart! Laura Duke;)

Hey Roger! I was going through some of the older threads, and saw that you first came on here and introduced yourself March 16th. I just wanted to congratualate you on your being here for 1 year. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed getting to know you. Plus, there are so many people who have looked up to you and have loved getting advice from you because you remind us of good ol' Uncle Jesse. I am always hearing from quite a number of people how much wisdom you have. Again, congrats! Laura Duke:D

Hello again, Redneck girl! It seems like you are beginning to settle into the swing of things here on HazzardNet and have met some really helpful people. All of us here love to help everyone else out, so please don't feel silly when you ask us a question-chances are most of us have already asked the questions you're asking now. Plus, I know that you will have some really interesting info to share with us someday! As for John Schneider and his General Lee, yes I do believe he sold it. I thought it was sold around $200,000. Now, that's what I thought. If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me. Nothing worse than giving wrong information! Well, that's all for now. Again, welcome Redneck girl! Laura Duke

BoJames-great stories! You, not have any Rosco moments? Hmm.....I'm not sure if that's 100% accurate. Roscolover-I'm glad to hear that you are improving day by day. But, I've still been thinking how difficult and frustrating it must be for you. Just to walk down a set of stairs must be so hard to do. At times, it's probably overwhelming. But, I'm sure that things will look up for you really soon. Keep sharing your stories-Roscolover started a wonderful thread! Laura Duke
-
Oh, that was so nicely put, BoJames. You can write quick messages, and they are still so well-put! Yes, General Grant, I was referring to you being crazy about the original series! Laura Duke

Well, I thought right-this is turning out to be a great thread, Roscolover! It gives us something funny to tell everyone, and for everyone to laugh-but hey, it's a popular thing: It's a Rosco moment! Khee! Khee! Julie: Funny stories! I don't know, i think that maybe your brother did it on purpose. Roscolover: I'm SO relieved to hear that your foot is not in pain. Can you move around a little more? Are your 4 weeks of sitting finally lifted? Lori: Great story. I had to chuckle on that one! I can just imagine that happening. But, is your head feeling better? I'm sure that really hurt! Laura Duke
