Yes sir . Road races can be a bit slower than the normal races, but enjoy them anyway since they are so few and far in between. Plus Gordon is pretty good at 'em...that is when he isn't getting wrecked...hoping for a great race this Sunday.

I have yet to see this, but have yet to check up on my NASCAR sites...but if this is true, it would only have effect on Brian Vickers since Kasey Kahne will be going to Hendrick Motor Sports next year. He is only at RBR for this year until Mark Martin's contract at HMS comes to an end. Feel bad for Vickers though...he's had his share of bad luck this past couple of years. Hopefully he'll find another team that will pick him up. Which he should...he's a talented driver.

They raced at Michigan today...as I said, it was or is Gordon's favorite track. Sadly I am not as excited about the end of this race as I was last week. He started 31st and hung out in the twenties most of the race. Towards the later half, got into the top ten. Last pit stop, he took four tires, everyone else took two. He didn't even get a top ten finish today...as he finished seventeenth. All in all, it was a bad race for all of my drivers. Johnson got a flat tire seven laps into the race and ended up 25th and two laps down. Dale Jr had a great first half of the race, but during the last half of the race he fell back. Towards the end, Mark Martin ran into Jr and ran him into the wall. Ten laps to go, Jr got a flat tire and ended 21st. Had to feel bad for Jr with all them questions the reporter was asking him after the race. Kept asking him these questions when it was obvious he was upset, frustrated, and disappointed with the race. Think he was upset at how Mark Martin raced him. Ended up cussing at the reporter that kinda hushed the reporter up... Carl Edwards led some laps before the final pit stop. Denny Hamlin came back out first and ended up going on to win the race. All Gibbs drivers were caught with an illegal pan or some sort of car part in their cars and had to replace them before the race started. (Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Joey Lagano.) BTW the last two races on TNT, I've been able to watch the race on tv and computer through Race Buddy on NASCAR.com where it gives you several views of the race with several options of the views...including four different drivers you can follow and listen into their radio. The last two races Race Buddy had been free and someone said it should be free the rest of the time it is on Race Buddy...just thought I'd let y'all know about it. I watched the race on TV and followed Dale Jr on the computer since they didn't have Gordon or Johnson as an option to follow. . .

Clint Bowyer! LOL But don't be embarrassed about it... As for the review this was for the points, but the race review is on the other thread. But you got most of the gist of the race here... Hope you had a good road trip. (My brother in law saw Kurt Busch's trailer or something on the road last year. Would be soo awesome to see. Perhaps one day I'll see Gordon's or Johnson's. )

Chicago Cubs! (Sorry y'all, but had to say that. That is all I think about when it comes to baseball. HA HA. Plus I actually get to go to a Cubs game this year...so excited!)

Well it is Monday...day after the Pocono race and am still on cloud nine after Gordon's win at Pocono...his fifth Pocono win of his career to tie him with another driver (can't think of his name right now) with the most wins at Pocono. Not to mention that was win number 84 of his career to tie him in third in the most wins category...tying him with Darrell Waltrip (DW himself! ) and Bobby Allison. Not only that...that is win number two for the year for Gordon. Which pretty much locks him into the chase come time for the chase...top ten in points is in the chase, the eleventh and twelveth spots are wild card spots for drivers eleventh - 20th with the most wins. Since Gordon is now eleventh in points and is the only driver outside of the top ten with a win...now two wins, it is shedding some hope to this twenty-four fan. (Though as he sits right now in points, he is eleventh, but only six points behind tenth place driver Ryan Newman!) Well I apologize for my excitement over the win and Gordon's stats...I just had to write about it. Can't let a good thing go un talked about, right? But I do know I may be the only Gordon fan on the site so perhaps the only one excited about it. I don't know...just had to share some info. Here is the top ten driver in points after Pocono: 1. Carl Edwards 2. Jimmie Johnson (-6) 3. Dale Earnhardt Jr (-10) 4. Kevin Harvick 5. Kyle Busch 6. Kurt Busch 7. Matt Kenseth 8. Clint Bowyer 9. Tony Stewart 10. Ryan Newman Well I should put this in the news section, but figure I might as well put it here since I am already posting this. NASCAR penelyzed Kyle Busch and team 18 for a rule infraction (as put on NASCAR.com) after the post race inspection. Crew chief Dave Rogers has been fined twenty-five thousand dollars while Kyle Busch and car owner Joe Gibbs has gotten fined six championship points (For Gibbs) and driver points (for Busch). $25,000 fine for the cc is normal, but usually it is 25 points. Not just six. Don't understand how NASCAR can inspect their cars before the race, the car pass inspection, then they watch during each pit stop, and yet find something wrong after the race with the car. Unless it was from an incident -I don't know. Well we are onto Michigan next week...one of Gordon's favorite tracks.

Bo Duke sits silently on the front porch swing that overlooks the front lawn of the Dukes and the open farm land that lies beyond. His mind lies thickly wrapped around the past few days' events; from finding Rosco covered in his own blood after he had rolled to getting arrested with attempted murder to seeing Tristian outside his jail. Only to send a wave of emotions heavily falling over him. Emotions of grief and sadness that it all had to happen. Not to him. But to Rosco. That Boss had to stoop so low to place false charges upon him that he relied on the likes of Tristian. Tristian in turn attempted to kill Rosco over what he had heard. That Rosco will have to live the rest of his life with the scars Tristian had placed upon him; physical and emotional scars. Only to frame him of a robbery everyone knew he wouldn't do. But also emotions of relief and gladness. Relief at the fact that despite his continual feelings of guilt over Rosco's accident, deep down now he also knows that it wasn't his fault. Tristain's finger prints had confirmed that he had touched Rosco's car, the cut brakes were the obvious reasons of why Rosco had rolled his car. Not because he was chasing Bo. And just happy and glad that it all is over with. Something that is now put behind them with hopes of moving forward. "Here you go sugar," Daisy breaks his line of thought as she walks out of the front door with a large glass of tea and hands it to Bo, "how you feelin'?" Bo shrugs and accepts the tea before taking a long drink. "Thanks Daisy," he answers as he sets it down on the floor besides him and Luke and Jesse walk around the house to join them on the porch. "How you feelin', Bo?" Luke protectively asks, concern deep in his eyes. Bo eyes Daisy for a moment and looks up at them and shrugs painfully. "Same as the last time you asked," he finally answers, "I'll be fine. Y'all can stop worrying." Luke sarcastically laughs. "If it only were that easy. You just got home from the hospital," he finally responds as a car's engine becomes audible in the distance, "no one expects you to be back to normal. You've been shot. You've been through a lot and to hide it from everyone is only going to make it worse for you." Bo eyes him for a long moment before looking away to find a white car coming towards them in the distance. Looking back at Luke and Jesse, he states, "As I said, I'll be fine." Jesse nods, knowing that this conversation isn't getting anyone anywhere. "We're just glad to hear that and have you back home. And," he pauses for a long moment as if lost in thought, "and to finally have cleared your name. Of both accounts. We told you we had faith in you. That you didn't do anything of what they accused you of." Bo nods. "Thanks," he states and goes silent as he looks up to see Rosco's car come into view, "we've got company." Jesse smiles. "That we do," he states, "Daisy perhaps you should go in and get enough cups and tea for everyone." "Yes sir," she grins and disappears back into the kitchen, the screen door closes tightly behind her. "Well," Luke interrupts the silence, "looks like life may be resuming back to normal here." With that they fall back into a peaceful silence as they watch the oncoming car, everyone relieved that the nightmare to have seemingly to be over with. That life was slowly returning to how it once was before that fateful day.

As I posted earlier during the race, there wasn't a lot of wrecks or cautions. The cautions were for debris. I got to watch Jr on Race Buddy...that was fun! Too bad I can't do that more often or follow Gordon. Still fun to do. Jeff Gordon started third today and hung out around there all day...but ended up the race first. JEFF GORDON WON POCONO...fifth Pocono race win to his career and places him in third place for all time win list. Think he ties Darrell Waltrip. It may have been plagued boring by some, but it was a great race for this 24 fan . Here is the top ten: 1. JEFF GORDON 2. Kurt Busch 3. Kyle Busch 4. Jimmie Johnson 5. Kevin Harvick 6. Despite my complaining against the race being on TNT...still wish it was on FOX...but this is awesome. TNT has a Racebuddy on the computer where you can watch the race on computer, listen to select drivers, and have different views of the race. They have it on NASCAR.com for free today. Am now watching the race on the computer and on TV. Only complaint being is that the computer is slower than live tv. But it is very awesome to watch. Always heard about it, but never seen it til now. Don't know if I'd pay for it or not, but it is fun to watch while it is for free. The only big thing happen in the race so far is that Carl Edwards went to the garage for car trouble. NASCAR has warned Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch to race nicely with each other when Kevin Harvick (who punched Kyle last month, his car owner Richard Childress punched Kyle last weekend) kept running behind Kyle Busch to mess with him. My opinion, it was all Kevin and NASCAR shoudl have just been talking to him. Keselowski had to pit for a lose tire or something like that. JJ ran out of gas on his way to pit but didn't hurt him too bad. Juan Pablo Montoya is leading right now, Hamlin who has led most of the race so far is second, and Jeff Gordon is third. Just had to let y'all know about Race Buddy right now while it is on. Am in heaven right now being able to watch the race on TV and computer. :popcorn:

Rosco P. Coltrane inhales heavily as Jefferson Davis Hogg pushes his wheelchair out through the open doors of the hospital. Looking across the parking lot and beyond, Rosco is hit with mixed emotions that has been trapped within him ever since he had awakened from his small coma. He has never been one to share much love with the Dukes. His extent of love of the Dukes came from his love and enjoyment of giving them chase and at the few chances he had at arresting them and bringing them off of the road. They were of great stress and annoyance to him and Hogg. And he knew it worked both ways. That the Dukes felt the same about him and Hogg. He also knew that the Dukes were in the right. That he was in the wrong. They were the most lawbiding and honest people that lives in Hazzard and that is why they cause them the most trouble. But he didn't hate them. Didn't wish any of them harm. And the thought that Hogg had arrested Bo on charges of attempted muder upon him, the sheriff, deeply upsets Rosco. Hogg knew Bo wouldn't do anything to hurt anyone. Sure he ran from Rosco when Rosco went to pull him over, but who could blame Bo? He was going to pull him over to falsely arrest him for a crime they all knew he didn't do. If he was Bo, Rosco knew he would run as well. And the fact that Rosco had rolled his car while giving Bo chase didn't make Bo a murderer. Even if his brakes weren't cut. Hogg knew Bo wouldn't intentionally hurt Rosco. Definately knew he wouldn't cut Rosco's brakes in order to clear his name. And yet he had arrested Bo. Arrested the one man who had saved Rosco's life. If Bo hadn't turned around after Rosco had rolled in the ditch, hadn't acted as fast as he did, Rosco would be dead right now. And for his effort, Bo was arrested and charged with robbery and attempted murder. "Why you charge Bo with attempted murder, Boss?" Rosco breaks his silence, "You know damn well he wouldn't have tried to kill me. You definately know that he wouldn't have cut my brakes like that. And yet you did." Rosco hears Hogg exhale loudly from above him. "I was upset. I had to charge someone," he finally answers, "and if he hadn't chased you, you wouldn't have rolled -" "I would have done it sooner or later," Rosco cuts him off, "and the only reason he ran from me was because you charged him wrongly. You'd run too if you knew you were wrongly charged. That don't make him a murderer." Rosco watches an older and rusted car pass by, his thoughts focused upon Bo locked away with such harsh charges and how he must have felt. According to his deputy, Bo ate little and slept less. Only to give Rosco the correct impression of a young man trapped in guilt over what had happened. And the fact that Bo himself didn't argue against the charges, only allowed Rosco to know that Bo agreed with the charges, that he blamed himself for what had happened. Yet, it was Bo who saved Rosco's life. "I had to blame someone," Boss finally interupts his silence, "and I guess he fit the charge perfectly when he ran from you as he did. I guess if I had sat back and thought about it, Tristian should have made better sense. But with you lying on the thin line between life and death, I couldn't think properly." Rosco nods, knowing that it wouldn't help to argue. What was done, was done and there was very little about it that Rosco could do. "I want to go to the Duke farm," Rosco says, switching the subject, "Jesse tol' me they released Bo this morning as well. I want to go thank Bo for saving my life. And you can apologize for placing such harsh charges upon him." "I'll take you to their farm if you really want to," Boss spits out as he pushes Rosco across the parking lot and to the patrol car he himself drove out to pick Rosco up in, "but there is no way I am going to apologize to him for what he did! He ran from a sheriff. He ran from authority. He avaded arrest, which is a valid charge, mind you! He -" "Saved my life, Boss," Rosso sharply interrupts him, "if he didn't turn around and call it in as he did, I'd be dead right now. You'd be in search of a new sheriff. Whether you like him or his family or not, he saved my life and for that you arrested him. He sat in jail. He didn't eat. He didn't sleep. Because he was already burdened with unnecessary guilt. "And because of you," Rosco angrily continues as they reach the passenger side door, "he was shot by your man. He was locked behind bars. He had no way of protecting himself and he was violently shot because you so badly wanted to frame him you went to outside help in Tristian." "Are you blaming me, Rosco?!" Boss yells as he opens the passenger door, unbelieving that his sheriff would blame him for what happened to Bo, "Tristian went astray! I went with him about what you told me about him and he tied me to a damn tree and let me know he was going to rob me. How was I to stop him? I had no clue what he would do with Bo -" "Because you were too concerned over all the money he'd be stealing from you. You don't change Boss. It's all about you. You and your money," Rosco shakes his head as he weakly stands up and makes his way into the passenger seat. Sighing heavily he continues, "Perhaps you should let this be a lesson to you the next time you hire people you don't know to frame the Dukes. You may not have known what Tristian was going to do nor told him to do it, but you hired him. You brought him into Hazzard. If you -" "OK, OK, Rosco. I get your damn point. I did all of this by bringing in Tristian into our plan," Boss pauses for a long moment, "if it'll make you feel better, I'll apologize to Bo. And to you. I'm sorry Rosco for what he did. If I had to do it over again, I would never have turned to Tristian. I'm sorry." Rosco nods as Boss slams the door shut and walks away with the wheel chair. Rosco quietly watches Hogg wheel the wheel chair up to the front door before disappearing back into the hospital to return it to them. Despite his anger about Tristian and what he did not only to him, but to Bo, Rosco was also relieved and excited. Relieved and excited to finally breathe in some fresh air. To be on the outside. To be free once again. And glad that it is all over. "Off to the Duke farm," Hogg states as he throws open the driver's door, startling Rosco since he was too focused upon the future that he didn't even see Hogg exit the hospital.

Well summer officially starts in a week and a half and was wondering if anyone had any big summer plans in the make? I have a few things that I am looking forward to. First off, I am looking forward to this upcoming Friday when I will be going to Chicago to see the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys in concert. Have had tickets for a couple of months now and it is so hard to believe that it is finally here! This will be my sixth New Kids on the Block...all of them coming after they reunited. (In fact, right now am listening to my new NKOTBSB CD that the two groups made by combining their greatest hits together on one album with two new songs that they sing together plus a NKOTBSB Mash up they call it.) Sadly, I know, it will go by too quickly and be over and leaving me wanting to see 'em more. HA HA. Then at the end of the month, I will be going back to Chicago with my dad on a bus to see a Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley! I am sooo excited..this will be my seventh Cubs game I've gone to (all at Wrigley. It's a great field!) but it has been years since I last been there. So am excited to finally return to Wrigley and to see my lovable Cubbies in person! They will be playing the San Fransico Giants...which I believe they were playing the first time I see them. I really hope that the Cubs will win for me...for obvious reasons, plus would love to hear them play"Go Cubs Go" by Steve Goodman that they play at Wrigley everytime they win! Am really looking forward to it...once again, it'll go by way too fast! And in July I am really hoping to go to Lightning Fest here in Iowa where I am thinking James Best and Ben Jones will be at. I went there last year and they both where there and had a great time! Got to hear a hear a story or two from Ben Jones when he was signing his autograph for me, a hug, and a picture with him. Got Best's autograph and my mom bought me a James Best painting so I got to get a picture with him too! Was a great time and am hoping to go again this year -looking like I might be able to. Finally the Dukes visit Iowa...LOL. Though as far as I know, none of the Duke family cast will be there. Know one year John Schneider came, but didn't hear about it til the Monday after -was soooo mad. LOL Well so far, that is the extent of my summer plans other than work as normal. Are any of y'all doing anything fun and exciting this summer?

A race that is generally won by Denny Hamlin as of late and a track that is more of a shape of a triangle with three curves instead of an oval that they are used to. The race or race coverage will start at 1:00 EST on channel TNT (NOT FOX). (I really wish they would keep it on FOX for a few reasons, but I guess they didn't ask me. Oh well, guess I should just be happy to have a NASCAR race to watch. )

Richard Childress reportedly punched Kyle Busch three times last Saturday after the truck race. NASCAR penalized him $150,000 for his actions.
