Three hours later and the race is over. Greg Biffle started from the pole and lead a lot of laps until he got passed through pit stops and came home twentieth. It was an up and down day for most drivers. Kurt Busch hit the wall at least three times before causing the final caution with four laps to go. Carl Edwards had something break under the hood during the first half of the race and had to go to the garage for a lot of laps before coming back out. Denny Hamlin too had to go to the garage after hitting the wall. Jeff Gordon led a lot of laps before Matt Kenseth got lead under green flag pit stops...Jimmie Johnson who has yet to win at Michigan, led some laps before getting passed by Kyle Busch...who went on to win his first race at Michigan - and won his fourth race of the season so far. Tony Stewart 10. Matt Kenseth Next race is next Saturday night on ABC for one of my favorite races of the year as we'll be going night racing at Bristol! May be the shortest track on the circuit, but has got to be one of the most exciting racing as well.

NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Michigan on ESPN is about to start and after running out of gas and getting into a fight with Boris Said after the race at Wakins Glen, Greg Biffle will start on the pole. And going winless so far, he is one of many who is looking for a win to get into the wild card spot for t he chase.

Very true...didn't think of that. Then again, I never saw that movie. Sad, now ain't it? Just seen photos of 'em with facial hair. Dang I miss watching the Dukes. Can't think of the last time I actually sat down and watched them...or wrote my story. Don't have my DVDs with me, but hopefully get some writing in. Sorry...this thread is forcing me to realize just how much I miss sitting down and watching the Dukes or writing. Sad when you get too busy to watch your favorite show or write about it, now ain't it Love the photo you posted, Hoss. Though they both look pretty sad or worried about something, makes me wanna give 'em a hug.

A few of 'em were also road racers...like Boris Said and Ron Fellows. Robby Gordon does good at road races as well. . .as is Marcos Ambrose as I stated earlier. Jeff Gordon is known as the road course king on the Sprint Cup...so too bad he didn't make an appearance for today's race. HA HA. Don't know if that is why you would know 'em or not, Hoss. Just thought I'd make note of it. There are a few others that are probably good at road courses as well, just don't know for sure or not.

Dang it! Stupid computer! Eh it's probably my bad. I tried doing I'm going to Leave You Tomorrow...but it wouldn't play on my computer. So I went with What's a Memory Like" instead. Perhaps forgot to copy and paste that link? Anyway, thank you Hoss for capturing my mistake and fixing it! Don't know if John has a beard and a mustache in "I'm gonna Leave You Tomorrow" (Since I couldn't watch it. . .but if he didn't', my remark would not make any sense. Anyway, thanks Hoss for coming to my rescue...again!

What an awesome today's Nationwide Series race was in Montreal! Lot of bumping and sliding today....with the worry of rain. It was Patrick Carpetier's last race and was doing pretty well until the end when something happened to his car and he ended up parking it off of the track and watching it on a stand...he is from Canada so he was a home favorite to win. Sad to see him go out like that. He took it pretty well, though. Robby Gordon was racing a good race til just after Patrick's accident when he ran too hard and ran into the back of another guy to take him out. Could tell he was really frustrated. Trevor Bayne had a off and on race as well. He got into a small accident when a rookie spun out and went back out on the track (around a blind corner) and had to go into pits to repair his car. He rebounded and with ten to go he was fifth or so. He finished 23rd or somewhere around there so something must have happened to him. Disappointed for Bayne. He's such a good kid and would love to see him succeed at more than just Daytona. But was very excited to see Marcos Ambrose win his first Nationwide Series race. Last week he won his first Sprint Cup Series race at Watkins Glen and he has followed it up with his first Nationwide Series win today! So happy for him. He is just always so positive, always has a smile on his face. Both races are road races...he was a road racer before coming to NASCAR so he knows a thing or two about road races . Now for him to win at an oval... Here is the top ten finishers of today's Nationwide Series race: 1. Marcos Ambrose 2. Alex Tagliani (from the Montreal area...) 3. Michael McDowell 4. Elliot Sadler Sprint Series will be racing at Michigan on channel ESPN at Noon central time! Enjoyed watching some of the truck series at Michigan where Kevin Harvick won his second truck race in a row. Enjoyed, more so, the Nationwide Series race at Montreal since I knew more of the drivers. But most of all, am looking forward to Michigan tomorrow for the Sprint Cup. All I have to say is, it better NOT rain!!!!!!!

After watching the end of the Camping World Truck Series am now watching the Nationwide Series race...they have yet to go green. They are road racing at Montreal...the only race outside of America that NASCAR races at...and it could be their last race at Montreal due to money issues. As always, several cup racers are in the race today. Carl Edwards forgot his passport at home so after qualifying at Michigan for tomorrow's race, had to go home and get his passport and drive his own plane to Montreal. Talk about a stressful weekend. Jacques Villeneuve and Alex Tagliani are on the front row of today's race and are both from Canada. The green flag just flew...am ready for a great race. (Looking forward to the Sprint Cup race at Michigan tomorrow afternooon!)

Yeah I saw it a couple of times and it can go either way. And the way Said talked did make it sound like he did it on purpose, but I don't know. Ragen and Biffle are generally clean racers...only seeing Said a few times here and there it is hard to tell. Does seem like he was in a wreck or wrecked someone at Infineon, but could be wrong so I am not judging him either way. Just glad both Ragen and Reutimann are both OK and that the were able to walk away from it all. Just read an article on NASCAR.com and it looks like Said and Biffle talked over the phone and worked things out. Said shoved Biffle off the road while on the carousale, whatever that is...ha ha, and Biffle got upset over it thinking Said shouldn't have raced him like that in taht particular area...an area that Jeff Gordon and Jeff Burton got into huge wreck (Biffle's words) last year, so he had that in mind as well when he got upset in the car. Made him more upset when Said wrecked his team mate at the end (Ragen) then parked behind Biffle's car instead of Said's own hauler or going and checking on both Davids. Biffle did give Said credit for being a talented driver at the end of the article. Glad to hear they have it worked out and now we can move onto Michigan on Sunday. Biffle will be there...Said who is a road racer, will not be there. The race will be at one EST on Sunday on channel ESPN.

Don't know how you can wait that long for a race! Hope it goes by quicker than what you imagine it will! Thanks for your feedback. After posting what I did and not saying it, got worrying that I saw it wrong. All I saw was what was on the internet on NASCAR.com and they didn't interview Greg Biffle, just Boris Said. Though from watching Biffle on TV, he seems like one of the more quieter ones on the track and the least likely to be made easily like that. Guess I no longer have room to complain about my wait til next week to watch the race...perhaps you can watch NASCAR to fill in your gap.

Well Hoss, you saw more of the race than I had, what is your view on it? It is only Tuesday and since I missed this past weekend's race already starting to feel my NASCAR withdrawl kick in. Am highly anticipating Sunday to see the boys racing at Michigan...Gordon's favorite track! (It just better NOT rain...let it rain in Iowa. Not Michigan! LOL)

I heard Said say all that...found it ironic that he would say he wouldn't wreck anyone when he just got done wrecking David Ragen and David Reutimann. But then again, perhaps it wasn't on 'purpose' either. As I said, all I saw was the replays on nascar.com that did show Said's interview. Perhaps giving Said the bird isn't professional, but is threatening to go to another driver's house and give him a whooping any more professional? Sorry, those were just things I was thinking when I heard his interview. Never had a big issue with Boris in the past, but have to say, of what I have heard online, have to say I am on Biffle's side. Biffle is normally a laid back guy who isn't easy to upset like that.

Wow Roger...sounds like you had an exciting animal filled weekend! The race was drove and finished this afternoon...err this morning. It was done by eleven thirty central time. I had it on the radio this morning, but only heard bits and pieces of it since someone had to work this morning. Just watched a video on NASCAR.com of the crazy and scary finish! Marcos Ambrose got his first Sprint Cup victory...which was very well deserved and long awaited for him. Sad they had to finish it under yellow ...if the yellow comes out under the w hite flag, the race is over. Boris Said...who is a road racer, got into David Ragen who sent him flying into the wall and richocheted off and into David Reutimann who spun into the other wall. Horrible accident...last rain postponed race, that was Gordon. Glad both Davids were able to walk away from such a horrid accident. Later then, Tony Stewart slid into the infield or the grass area and that brought out the yellow flag. Gordon just slid past that one. Well I didn't watch the race, so perhaps I don't have much room to vent, but am really frustrated with Boris Said. Don't understand comptletely what was going on, but what it sounded like, Greg Biffle, who is Ragen's team mate, approached Boris Said after the race about how he raced Ragen. Give Boris Said some credit...understand he didn't appreciate Biffle racing him hard or what not when Biffle was two laps down or that he didn't like that Ragen didn't give him much room to pass...but really? Wreck Ragen like that when they were that far back is uncalled for. Either David could have been hurt. Or worse. In my opinion, Biffle is a laid back guy and looks to be someone to take a lot to be made mad. So for him to approach Said like that and start giving him punches says a lot on how mad he was. Then for Said to call Biffle the names he did and then threaten him as he did in his interview, was very uncalled for. Not that Biffle should have punched him, but perhaps if Said raced Ragen without wrecking him, perhaps it wouldn't have happened. Boris Said is a road racer...he only races in NASCAR when they are on the road courses and perhaps one or two tracks. So for him to wreck other regular Sprint Cup drivers has little consequence to him. Memory serves me right, he wrecked someone in the last road race we were in. Perhaps NASCAR should stop allowing road racers like him in if they can't respect the regular cup drivers. All my opinion of course...which may mean very little since I didn't watch the race and just seen videos on NASCAR.com of the end and all. Here is the top ten finishers of today's race: 1. As I said, I didn't watch or hear much of the race so if anyone had watched the race, so if anyone got to see more than I had and I missed anything or got something wrong, feel free to add onto my review. (Hate that I missed the road race this weekend . Feel like I missed out on everything! I like Marcos Ambrose so really hate missing his first win. Oh well...I guess if I had to pick a race I had to miss, it'd be a road race. Despite Gordon being good at them, they are slower than the normal races and it is hard to pass people...so no matter how much I hated to miss today's race, would rather miss it than next weekend when they race in Michigan...Gordon's favorite track - one that both him and Jr are good at. Or Bristol in two weeks where they'll be racing at night...love night racing at Bristol! Am looking forward to Michigan and Bristol if y'all can't tell! )

Well just wasted a Sunday by watching three hours of driver interviews...in between switching to watch my beloved Cubs game...only for them to cancel the race! The race will be at 10 on ESPN...looks like a great day to be calling in sick tomorrow. HA HA. Wish I could do that, would feel too guilty even thinking of doing that. So I guess I'll have to sit this race out. Very frustrated right now!

Race day today...now watching the prerace show. And guess what? It's raining!!!!!!! ERRR Wish it was raining here and not there! Let's go JEFF GORDON and TEAM 24!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once again...rain, rain, go away, come back another day...like tomorrow!!!!!!

Well Roger...don't think you jinxed them. What goes up, sometimes has to go down. Saw they were ranked ahead of the Cubs and felt bad for you. At least they had a great first half...the Cubs didn't have a great first half and they are not having a great last half either. Just too bad they didn't keep it up. Just think of it this way, your Pirates just felt bad for my Cubbies so they let the Cubs have the series. That is if it helps you feel better. I for one was happy they got a winning streak going and will take it against any team out there. Though for yoursake, wish it was another team. Well there is still another month and a half to go, Roger, perhaps they'll get their own winning streak going on the teams above t hem will start losing. You can always hope. As for me, my hope for this year is over (still love the Cubs though!). My hope is now for next year!

They are going road racing tomorrow at Watkins Glen. Kyle Busch won his first pole of the season. Race is at 1 EST on ESPN tomorrow...that is if it doesn't rain. Looks like they are predicting rain, if so, they'll race on Monday. In which case, I won't be able to watch...because someone has to work for a living! *Starts singing: Rain, Rain, go away, come back another none racing day!*

After watching the law and their hired help make their way out of sight, Bo and Luke slowly return to the cabin with Finley once more. As the door closes, Bo eyes Luke with uncertainty in his eyes. "I really hope this plan of your's works, Lukas. I mean," he sighs heavily as he begins to pace the floor, "NASCAR wouldn't be the same without Gordon in it. In fact, I don't think it'd hardly be worth watching if he weren't in it and knowing we were responsible for it." Luke gives Bo an irritated look before finding himself at the window and stares out at the marshly land that lies outside of it. "Relax Bo. Gordon will be better locked up and us clearing his name than him keep running as we had him doing. No way he'd be racing with a price hangin' over his head," Luke says gruffly and then turns to face Finley, "thanks for your help, Finley. We'll be heading back to town and we'll meet up with your boys at the farm. Sure Jesse's wonderin' where the heck we are by now." Bo sarcastically laughs. "Yeah. By now he's probably got a price over our heads," he moves towards the door, glad to be on the way out of Finley's shack and off the tiny island implanted within the swamp. Finley eyes the boys at the door and for the first time in a long time allows his hard front to fade. "Well," he slowly drawly, "always glad to help put Rosco and ol' Boss in their place. That Gordon guy you had in here seemed like a likable and good person. I hope you get him to his next race." "That's the plan," Bo states, anxious to get out of there, "Thanks for your help." With that, Bo opens the door and walks back out into the humid swamp with Luke close behind him who stops to say bye with Finley before running to catch up with Bo. "Relax Bo. Things will work out," he states as they walk to where they had stored their boat, "we'll get to the farm. Explain it all to Jesse and Daisy before going into the next phase of our plan. Remember what you said? They fell for it hook line and sinker, why all the sudden doubt?" Reaching the small boat, Bo climbs inand impatiently waits as Luke follows him in and unties the boat before shoving them into the swamp. Shrugging, Bo states, "Well they got Gordon. What we got? Nothing. Only a plan that may work. May not work either. And then what?" he sarcastically questions, "An innocent person sits in jail on account of a faulty plan." "Nonsense. It's gotta work," Luke states despite his own worry. Gordon was glad to to accompany Bo and Luke in the plan. Anything he could do to help, he would do. But by trusting them, had he placed himself in jail for the next few years? For something everyone knew he didn't do. . .
