Well y'all. . .I have been trying to mend my broken heart since Sunday. I may never be the same. Though I have to admit it was nice being on the winning side this year. This is the best season they've had in over a decade. Ben Johnson is the coach the Bears have needed since Lovie Smith. Caleb Williams is one of the best QBs they've had. It has been a fun season...stressful, but fun. Sad it is over, but proud of the team and their never give up attitude. Though with them out... Football is officially over for me. Daytona is 23 more days from now... Onto NASCAR and baseball...

I am so hoping the Bears will win! I am soooo nervous. LOL. Tho the weather is on their side and they've had a great year so all that is on their side. I am glad to have another fan supporting them. Tho I'm sorry about your Bills, Roger. Jeff Gordon's 49ers got sent home packing this weekend too. Maybe he'll be supporting my Bears now, too. HA. LET'S GO BEARS!!!!!

I never heard of that. Sounds kinda like fantasy sports, perhaps the paid leagues. LOL

Sorry to interrupt the football talk . . . I am still excited to be moving forward into the playoffs. It's been a long time since the Bears have made it this far. They play the Rams Sunday in cold weather. The Rams aren't conditioned for warm weather and play in a dome. The Bears will have the advantage there. . . But to bring it back to NASCAR for a bit. . . NASCAR has updated the Chase format for all three series for 2026 and ahead. Of what I understand that winning in the regular season won't lock you in as it has been the past few years. It's going back to more to the old Chase system. There will still be 16 drivers (in the top series). The driver with the most points at the end of the ten Chase races wins the championship. I personally feel like it's a step in the right direction. 32 more days until the Daytona 500!!!!

Both should be punished? Green Bay and Chicago? Green Bay may deserve it, but the Bears, never! Sorry I am lost . . .and tired .

Thank you Roger. That was a disappointing first half and an exciting and stressful second half. What a come back! I am sorry about your Steelers. I thought of you when I saw that. I have a hard time going for them due to their current QB . . . he may no longer be on that other team (sorry...I can't say the name. ) but he has always annoyed me. I do hate for you and the fans and sad to see Tomlin stepping out. 19 years say a lot. And the fact they made it to the playoffs, he should still be proud. A lot of teams didn't make it that far. Well the other Chase must be a great guy. I am sorry to hear that he didn't do too well. I am hoping this will be Chase ELLIOT's year.

Oh good! I'm glad I talked some sense into you. I bet you're glad you joined the good side after last night's game. Talk about waiting for the last second to do something. But hey...they did it! But seriously, thank you for supporting them.

What did you do to him? LOL. I liked him in Chicago, but he went downhill from there. Hopefully he'll wake up and get his act together...

The Ghost of General Lee is my all time favorite. Tho I love all the ones with Bo and Luke in it. Except for maybe Stange visitor to Hazzard or something like that. I wasn't too big of a fan of that episode.

Jay Cutler played a season with the Dolphins after he retired from the Bears...LOL

I appreciate you being a fare weather Bears fan for me LOL. No I really do appreciate you supporting them as far as they go or who they are or aren't playing. They aren't doing so hot today against the Lions. I hope they turn it around soon...

Thank you Roger. Yesss! it's a fun year to be a Bears fan. It's amazing the difference a great coach has on a team like the Bears. It's a difference of night and day from this year and last year. Hope we win tomorrow and make it far into the play offs!

I heard and read about Greg Biffle the day it happened. I am still in disbelief and my heart breaks for him, his family involved, and their friends and family that is left behind. I can't imagine losing a whole family like that. It's sad no matter who is involved, but NASCAR did lose a good guy with Greg Biffle. He was one of my favorite non-Hendrick drivers at the time he was racing - back in the good ol' days of Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. Plus, a dog lover... My Youtube has been pulling on the heart strings as they've been giving me Greg Biffle videos after it all happened. Including one where he was picking up his kids in his old Cadillac to pick up a Christmas tree and this video that I will share with you where he references Dukes of Hazzard: On a side note, Daytona is in 49 more days!!!!!

Hi y'all. Not much going on here lately. Sorry to have been silent for so long. I've been just hanging low lately. I started a new job at the end of August. It's going well, but it's been hard to go with change. I like the new job, though it has a financial drawback to it and I've been struggling a bit emotionally with it. I just wanted to drop a hi and a late Merry Christmas to y'all. Hope all is well with you all.

Garrett laughs and yells in excitement as he is carried into the Boar's Nest where they are greeted by Daisy with pitchers of beer and beer glasses where Garrett hops down and helps her pour the drinks and pass them around to everyone. Raising his glass, he says, "What an action packed and exciting race. Until next year!" he raises his glass, "Cheers to the best competition in the south!"
