Luke nodded. "I know...an it's a baby...I's gotta look after it...it aint got no mama...an' its hurt..." he said importantly.

Luke smiled picking Bo up and setting him in his lap still soothing the deer with one hand. "Gotta be quiet Bo...she don' feel good."

Then what is it? *already getting a gnawing feeling in the pit of his stomach- the money situation had him concerned enough at the moment; it was most of the reason he had been so on edge lately... he couldn't imagine how Jesse could call it simple and if it was, what the non-simple thing could be.

If...if it's about the money troubles...I've known that for a while...*says averting his eyes as if he knew something else with regards to that particular issue*

Luke simply shrugged. He knew he'd find out sooner or later and he wasn't exactly in a conversational mood.

Luke petted the soft fur around its ears gently. "It's ok...I'll be right here..."

An hour later Luke woke from his nap and returned to the fawn. "Hi...I'm back," he whispered gently.

Lavinia just watched him close, in case he got too rough accidentally. The little fawn blinked its long-lashed eyes wearily before falling back to sleep.

"You be gentle Bo...it's sick..." warned Lavinia.

Lavinia rocked little Bo in her arms as she held him, thinking to herself that there were many similarities between the baby boy in her arms and the baby deer laying on the floor. Both were orphaned far too young, both had the odds against them, Bo with his asthma and the fawn with it's injury and blood loss... and both had won over Luke's heart.

Lavinia smiled sitting down beside Bo watching the animal too. "I guess we can stay here and watch it a bit."

Lavinia, having missed Bo from where he was playing, had a pretty good idea where to find him walked over and watched him sitting beside the fawn. "Bo...didn't I tell ya t stay away from the poor thing?" she asked softly.

Luke swallowed as he saw where Bo went and shook his head.

Luke just cuddled into his uncle, falling asleep against him.

Luke reached his arms out to his uncle. The fact that he was initiating a hug showing how much this little fawn had gotten to his heart.

*giggles at the thought of his best stinkin' happenin in the out house* So long as ya keep it there, I'm happy

I'm horribly shy...I still don't know how I manage to play on stage...

*sets his jaw as Jesse stops for Bo not saying anything*
