As always when anything bothered Luke a great deal, he had trouble expressing himself with words. Instead he took his uncle's hand and begged him to follow him.

****flashback**** Luke ran breathlessly to the farmhouse. "Unca Jesse! Unca Jesse! Come quick!!!"

"Well...there was the time he found that fawn..." anwered Jesse quietly.

"What about Luke?" asked Jesse missing her point.

Jesse nodded. "That was the one..."

Jesse and Lavinia just watched him smiling, as Luke leaned against his aunt hugging her to him.

"Course I will baby," answered Lavinia.

"I'll make her up some mash...you'll have to make sure she gets plenty to eat...and lots of water... and clean up after it...til she can go out in the coop with the oithers..." answered Lavinia.

(disregard the previous) Lavinia smiled. "Course she does...she prolly thinks yer her mama..." Luke giggled but stopped as Jesse shot him a look.

Lavinia chuckled and nodded. Jesse smiled big. "We'll lookee there Bo...looks like ya done hatched yer egg alright." Luke just smiled watching the tiny chick as it opened its beak.

Lavinia smiled. "Well I see that Bo...I don't believe it...but I see it..."

Luke's jaw dropped, unable to believe what he saw. "It...you...wow."

Luke frowned getting up. "What?" Lavinia took the little hand Bo offered and followed Bo into the laundry room.

Luke went back to their room, playing with his cars by himself.

Luke shook his head a little walking away.

Luke shrugged. "Guess we'll see..."

The ones Jesse takes never hatch though do they?" asked Luke.

"No they can't Bo...you shouldna took it..." countered Luke.

*watches him go before turning to his uncle* I... *not knowing what to say he did the only thing he knew to do...grabbing the present off the table, he too walked out*

*getting more and more upset* Anythin else you wanna enlighten me on Bo? I swear I don't need no psychologist around here...not when you know every problem I got...so tell me Bo...lay it all out there..what else am I...besides a power-hungry control freak?
