Lavinia continued to rock Bo softly. "Youre hungry aren'tcha Bo?" Luke meanwhile just watched the fawn protectively.

Luke nodded firmly. "As long as we got each other...family's what's important...not where we live..."

Luke dimpled up at him. "Yes please."

Luke looked at him putting a hand on each shoulder. "Then we get through it...together."

"Yes sir," answered Luke softly, swallowing hard.

Luke brushed his eyes with the back of his hand. He didn't want the fawn to die but he knew that saying so wouldnt make any difference.

"I dunno Bo," answered Luke honestly, his voice gentle. "But I'll tell ya one thing...." he began his gentle voice rising to the one that made many a man back down without a fight. "They AIN'T gonna get away with it...not if I have anythin' t say about it."

Luke nodded, winking back tears as he petted the fawn softly.

Was I ever a big sister? No, though I'd liked to have been....work keeps me too busy. (as a side note: I am a big sister thank you very much:) I love it) On my burger? Cheese, mayonaise, tomatoe...thats it. My favorite meal is Uncle Jesse's bisque My favorite vacation so far has been going to Nashville Luke is by far the fastest runner...I'll let him and Bo answer about the General

Luke sighed wishing with all his might that he had the answer that he knew Bo expected him to have. But he didn't. Eminent Domain was something that even Luke was unprepared for. Sure Boss was a swindler...everyone knew that...but to bring in the government... taking over the farm was certainly more than just a means to get the Dukes out of Hazzard...Boss had to have an alterior motive...the question was what...and what would they do about it?

Luke just looked at Bo a moment, already knowing what he was thinking just from the flicker in his eyes and the slight shift he made with his body. "Money ain't the issue Bo...not as far as the farm goes...a job...well...it'd be just putting a bandaid on an open wound..." He hadn't meant to make Bo worry about the money with the gift- he really hadn't. He just wanted Bo to have a nice birthday...and maybe get a chance to do what he always wanted to do... and that was worth more to Luke than what he had hocked to get it.

Well...I don't eat a lot of ice cream. You can't eat a lot of ice cream and fit into short shorts... but I guess my favorite is strawberry, when I eat it.
