I never saw that but I can guess how it went because the same thing happens to all situation comedies. The first 2 years are funny. Then they run out of material and the next two years are jokes about sex. Then the next 2 years are even nastier jokes about sex. The Dukes did the opposite. You never heard anybody joking about Enos's virginity or how many illegitimate kids Luke had, except in the first few episodes. You never see something get cleaner nowadays. I'm glad the Dukes did.

You are right. It would have worked better if they had Duke characters like Garrett Duke, Skipper Duke, Philip Duke and Roger Duke.

It depends. If I am just looking to watch an episode I wouldn't normally put Coy and Vance in. If I want to watch the whole series in order I have to watch them of course. They really aren't that bad. In fact I like most of them....and the good thing is that the rest of the cast are just as fantastic as ever!

If I like it I'll come right back after I hear you followed through with your end of the deal. And if I don't it looks like you will be trading that marshmallow suit for state pen black and white stripes." Rosco looked alarmed "You can't go to jail Boss. Wearing stripes makes you look fat." Garrett interrupted and responded quickly, "That's easy Boss. He's honest and you are a criminal.....and I suspect he's getting impatient." Boss was steaming. "Shuck, you are right. You may get away with it this time Garrett Duke but you ain't heard the last of me." He then pressed the mic on the CB and told Jesse he has won and could have whatever he wanted to put an end to his failed scam.
