The Official Dukes of Hazzard Trivia Thread
RogerDuke replied to Meadowmufn's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
Alex and Daisy are both right. Add 2 more correct answers to Alex's streak of 89. I like "Happy Birthday General Lee" so much, the next 3 questions will be from that episode. Bo and Luke drove an old Ford pick-up truck before the General Lee came along. Who did they get that truck from? A) Cooter Ace Parker C) Old Man Conkey- 3,832 replies

Here's a funny coincidence. I'm watching the series in order and today I watched "Go West Young Dukes". (the day after my Mom gave me the cassette) Anyway, I realized that both of them are from 1985 and both of them feature John with a moustache. Okay, so it's not the most amazing coincidence in the world but it's still kinda cool. Woops, I just double checked. That episode first aired in Nov 1984.

Who's your favorite Duke cousin and why?
RogerDuke replied to BoDuke80's topic in General Discussion
Hi Mandy. I see this is your first post. Welcome to Hazzard County. We hope you settle in and aren't just passing through. -
I went over to my parents house earlier today and my Mom said " I bought something for you at the second hand store" She then handed me a cassette tape of "A Memory Like You" My Mom's so thoughtful!!! Of course the problem I have now is having to modernize and get one of them newfangled cassette players. I'm not giving up the 8-tracks though. But, for John Schneider it just might be worth the trip down to the second hand store to see if they have one.

For a long time now I've tried to convince my family and friends that the Dukes of Hazzard is not a ficticious television show with actors. It's reality. There really is a Hazzard County and all them folks you see on it were just being themselves while they were being filmed....just like on modern reality shows. After all these years I finally heard a quote that proves it. (I've heard this quote before but I guess it didn't sink in) It comes from Luke and it's when a Hollywood producer was trying to get the Dukes to come to California to be in a film. Luke's response was "Well, that's real flattering of y'all but we ain't done no acting." See, there it is....proof that the Dukes are real. But don't take my word for it. Go to "The Dukes in Hollywood" to hear it for yourself. It can be found in the season 7 DVD of our favorite reality show.

I really like this one from "No More Mr. Nice Guy" When Rosco thought that someone was going to kill Boss he said, "Boss is gonna be cut down in the prime of his beef" Enos corrected him and nervously responded "Pork"

Sequel Ideas for a Third Dukes of Hazzard Movie
RogerDuke replied to Julieduke's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Movies
Kurt, I see that you have been a Hazzardnet member since November of 2006 but only have two posts. Why is that? You're a Dukes genius!!! I love the way you think. Wouldn't it be awesome if somebody happened to stumble on your post and knew the right people..... I'm not sure if I'd like the show or not because I'm too devoted to the original 7 years. I've been critical of the reunion shows (and 2 movies) but your idea sounds like something that could change my mind about life after 1985. Your idea really could succeed at blending the old with the new...and if it could be made into something the whole family could watch, it could be huge... -
Redneck Girl, I would love to see a Northern Dukes Fest. If you go to the DukesFest forum and click on the "Northern Dukes Fest" thread (page 2) you can read more about the thoughts of people on this subject. After seeing how many people showed up just to see Rosco at a car show in Canton Ohio earlier this year, I am convinced that a (small) Dukesfest could be a big moneymaker for any medium sized city.
