We've covered these reunion shows before and I've been the only one who doesn't like them from what I can remember. I can certainly understand why everyone disagrees with me and I respect everybody. It's one of those things in life that....even though you know you should think a certain way, you just can't no matter how hard you try......so I suppose I'm all alone on this one. I don't mind. I look at this way. At least it earned me one of the best complimemts I've ever gotten in my life.... "You're hard core when it comes to the Dukes of Hazzard" Thanks dukefan, that put a big smile on my face. Yes, I suppose I am. *smiles again* I do take my Dukes seriousely.....possum on a gumbush!!!!

I know what you mean dukefan. I don't have anything around my place that honors the Dukes either. You know it's funny, I try so hard to be an open minded person and understand other people and what makes them tick. For the life of me though, I can't understand why the Dukes of Hazzard isn't everybody's favorite show. If everybody had the good taste in entertainment us HazzardNet folks have, there would be a Dukes store/musuem/meeting place/fan club in every town in this world.

James Best has a no Flash policy? Good thing Rosco didn't. The show wouldn't have been the same without Velvet Ears.

Congratulations on your fourth year dukefan. Since you've been back, your enthusiasm has been contagious. You have provided several exellent sparks that have generated a lot of interest in quite a few subjects. There are all kinds of folks here on the HazzardNet and they are indeed like family. You are one of the many family members who really keeps this place fun and invigorating so please keep up the good work. It's always a pleasure to open a new thread and see what surprise you have waiting for us next. YEEEHHHAAAWWW!!!!

I'm embarressed to say I haven't seen it. I'm going to guess James just for fun. Thanks for doing this thread Daisy. Even though I probably won't be too good at it, it's going to be fun!!

If it didn't hurt so much to know that Sorrell was dead and Denver didn't look healthy and Waylon's voice wasn't there, I really would have liked the first reunion movie. I tried real hard to like it but those three things just got in the way. I can't be critical of other people who like it because it really was good but I guess I'm just not the kind of person who can handle that kind of change. I wish they wouldn't have had Denver in it. They could have said that him and Boss were at an old moonshiners convention in Atlanta. Another thing I didn't like is that Jesse was living alone in his condition and none of the 3 younger Dukes said at the end that they were moving back to the farm to help him (even though he would have refused) But I'm sure Denver loved doing that reunion show as much as he loved doing the series so I can find peace knowing he was happy with his final acting job.

B.L., Daisy and Dukefan1 all got it right. Daisy has 250 in a row correct!!!! I don't know how you do it Daisy but that streak is one of the most amazing accomplishments ever on the HazzardNet. This might not qualify since it wasn't on the original 7 year series. I'm not a real big fan of the reunion movie and one of the reasons why is the scene where Rosco did a tribute to Boss. That was one of the saddest things I've ever seen in my life. I am seriously getting emotional right now just thinking about it. I'll never watch that reunion movie again. To me, Boss is still alive and Jesse is still as strong and healthy as an ox. In my mind Hazzard County and the people who live there are real and I won't accept anything less.

It's hard to say but I think that post was just a hoax. I didn't even understand that comment about the sheriff. Did anybody else? Remember, it's the internet. Even though most HazzardNet folks are honest, there's still bound to be a prankster or too passing through Hazzard County pretending to be someone they're not. Well, I have to go now, Mondays are the nights I usually spend polishing my Mr. Olympia trophy. Now, where'd I leave it? Oh yea, it's in the front seat of my Lamborguini. I bet I'm the only one on the HazzardNet that has a Lamborguini painted like the General Lee.
