  1. Dr. Suess (thing 1 and thing 2)
  2. Did I read that right? You were watching some of the first reunion show being filmed? More details please......
  3. The only thing sadder than that is his tribute to Boss on the reunion show. If that can't make a Dukes fan cry, nothing can. When I met James Best last year, I told him how emotional that scene was for me. He got a little choked up when he told me how much he misses Sorrell. I could tell he wasn't acting.
  4. *chuckles* Daisy got yelled at. Now that's funny. Daisy, I can't figure out how you pull off some of these Duke or Dupes. How did you know it was Spruce Lake and not Hollow Stump Bog? Either you have an unbelievable memory or you just have a knack for it. You constantly amaze me. Anyway, sorry B.L. you missed one. Daisy now has 227 in a row correct (and 285 out of 286) Which of these were on the show? Hogg's Pizza and Subs or Hogg's Jewelry Store Cottonwood County or Cotton Hollow (episode names) Undercover Dukes or Uncovering Trouble
  5. One thing season 7 sure gave us is some unique episodes. It started off with "Happy Birthday General Lee". I don't think I blinked the entire show. I wanted to learn everything I could about the birth of the most famous car in history. For the second episode, the dream of all country music Dukes fans came true and Waylon finally got his handsome face on TV in Hazzard County. The Dukes took a trip to California in episode 6. We got to learn about the ancestors of the Dukes, Hoggs, Coltranes and Davenports in ep 8. There was a more than slight resemblence to today's residents of Hazzard County. The Duke boys' hero, Cale Yarborough showed up again in ep 9. Enos and Daisy almost got married in ep 16 The Great Coltrano wrapped up the show with the final act. Maybe an alien and a robot did cut into the quality script writing we were used to, but all in all, it was a pretty awesome season (except for the part where it all ended)
  6. For those of you wanting more info on this, go up to "Introduce Yourself" and the "Had a Dukes Flashback" thread
  7. Hey Meadowmuffin, I think I messed up on this. I probably shouldn't have posted it in two different places. Sorry.
  8. Congratulations on your 10,000th post Julie!!! Pretty impressive. Unfortunately, you missed the trivia question. 867-5309 is a song. I don't know who sung it though. I know it wasn't a country song. Alex and Jessi both got it right. Alex has 122 in a row correct. What's the punchline of Rosco's joke? What did one casket say to the other casket?
  9. You got me on that one. I can't remember if they ended the episode with them still in the ditch or not. I'm thinking that's how it ended. I'm sure someone else will let us know. Maybe that's why they never appeared in any more episodes. They're still stuck in there. I'd better going. I'm heading up there to help them out. They're probably getting hungry by now.
  10. Whenever I watch that episode, I often wonder how difficult it was for the actors to pull it off. I wonder if they complained about it. After all, I'm sure they were smart enough to know it wasn't going to turn out too well.
  11. Hey Redneck Girl, If you notice the years on the last few posts, the idea I had to watch the Christmas episode together is from '07. This year I was simply proposing getting together in the chatroom sometime and talk about Christmas in general. I can see how you would miss that. I've made a similiar mistake before too. What about Monday Dec 22 at 7 (EST)?
  12. Welcome to Hazzard County Savickster. We hope you stay awhile because this is a pretty cool place for Dukes fans like you. I don't think that your choice for a favorite episode is odd at all. I wish the Beaudrys would have appeared in more episodes. Even though they were on the ornery side, I really liked the fact that they were genuine hillbillies from the Chattahoochee Hills of Tennessee. Since I consider myself to be a hillbilly too (except I might shower more often than the Beaudrys) I can really relate to their attitude of not caring about what the rest of society thinks of them, In fact, if they weren't so mean to the Dukes, I would have really liked those guys. Anyway, I'm rambling. To answer your question, the 2 episodes that featured them are... Daisy's Shotgun Wedding season 5 - episode 22. Boss Behind Bars season 6 - episode 6 Just a footnote here...season 5 is the one with Coy and Vance but Bo and Luke came back in episode 19 so they're in Daisy's Shotgun Wedding. That's the episode I think you're looking for.
  13. Thanks Dixie but don't give me too much credit. Because of my deep love of the show, I have amassed a pretty fat notebook full of information about Hazzard County. I've learned to depend on the notebook more than my memory. *starts looking around frantically* Now, if I can just remember where I put my notebook.
  14. B.L. and Daisy got all 3 right. Daisy has 224 in a row correct (and 282 out of 283) Which of these were on the show? "Hard Luck" Jones or "Good Luck" McCobb Spruce Lake or Hollow Stump Bog (episode names) Deputy Dukes or Dukes on the Run
  15. Does anybody want to have a Hazzard County Christmas party in the chat room sometime this month? If so, post a date and time suggestion up above on "Hazzard County Christmas" and the "Dukes Christmas Party" thread. I put it up there and not down here because more people would notice it.
  16. Hey does anybody want to have a Hazzard Christmas party? I think we should try to set a date for everybody to get in the chat room and talk about Christmas. We should try to make it early evening (maybe 6 or 7:00 EST) so our European Duke cousins could join. Any suggestions for a date? Should we make it a week day or weekend?

*holds hand to ear* I think I hear the tune playing from the final jeopardy answer. Does that mean that these compliments can be given in the form of a question?

I don't know what you're talking about Brian, I never exaggerate. Okay, so I'll admit I used to when I was younger, but that was 100 years ago.
  19. sharp (Shannon Sharp is a former NFL star who is now a sports commentator)
  20. Right as usual B.L. From "The Treasure of Soggy Marsh" what is the phone number at the Duke Farm? A) 555-7170 Hazzard 320 C) Hazzard 921 D) Hazzard 587 E) 867-5309

Hey Brian, I can't seem to locate any of those 500 complimentary posts I was talking about. (To quote Boss Hogg from "The Fugitive"...."Have you tried any of the places you haven't looked?") Anyway, I'll keep searching all these threads. Hey, I just had a thought, you don't think Meadowmuffin or MaryAnne deleted them do you? Since I compliment you more than them, they might be a little jealous.
  22. Bull (by that, I don't mean that I'm criticizing Daisy's answer....he played "Bull" on "Night Court")
