  1. Hopefully when you're as old as me (49) you'll be a little more open minded than I am and like the old stuff and new stuff. Of course by then, the music you're listening to now will be the "old stuff." Country used to be called "Country and Western" but is now just called country. In the future it might be called "Country and Pop" since it's evolving into that. I can't blame people for liking it because it is good but it's just not for me. Half of the videos on CMT should be on MTV instead. I guess I haven't adjusted with the times. Since I'm happy this way, I don't plan on trying to adjust. And I'm not trying to change anybody elses opinion about modern country music...I'm just expressing my opinion. Hope I didn't make anybody mad.
  2. Welcome to Hazzard County BoDukeLuvr. Don't stay under that rock too long because we'd sure like to hear from you more often. You sound like our kind of folk. Hope to hear from you again soon. By the way, James Best is an active participant here on the HazzardNet although it's been a little while since we've heard from him. I hope you checked out his thread and seen some of the things he has personally posted.
  3. You got me on that one. They were in a two man glider but I can't remember the episode. I'm pretty sure it is late in the series. I'm into season 5 right now so I bet I'll bump into it eventually if nobody else knows the answer. They were both using motorized hand gliders on "Daisy's Shotgun Wedding" but I'm sure you're thinking of the one with the big two man glider that was wind powered. I do remember Bo saying that.
  4. You got it right Daisy. Miz Tisdale has been secretly watching Rosco, Enos and Cletus.
  5. Roll on Mississippi (Alabama)
  6. maximum
  7. *in a firm yet loving voice* Now Luke I can tell there's more botherin' you than them varmints.
  8. *continues snoring* (Hey this might turn into an RP) LOL
  9. Old country is the only stuff I listen to. On occasion a new song comes out that I like but rarely. Boondocks is probably the last new song that I really liked. I suppose I should get with modern times and start embracing this new stuff but I just can't tell most of it from pop or soft rock (or whatever it's called). I can't wait until a classic country radio station comes to my area someday. If that ever happens, I'll rip the knob off and never listen to anything else. Hopefully it will be called WHOGG and have a DJ named Elton Loggins and play a lot of Waylon Jennings and the Dukes Family Singers.
  10. daisyxenos, B.L., Bo and Daisy all got it right. I thought maybe someone would forget about the egg and only answer "milk". Who did the actor John Wheeler play? A) Hughie Hogg Dewey Hogg C) Big Ed Little D) Mr Rhuebottom
  11. Time in a Bottle
  12. noise
  13. daisyxenos and B.L. both got all three right. Which of these were on the show? Bob Marley Farm or Jimmy Buffet Farm Jumping Joe's Skydiving Sevices or Joe's Hardware (episode names) How To Succeed in Hazzard or Chickasaw Hijinks
  14. Okay BoDuke80 you made a good point. Maybe Hughie should get a chance. I would like to make a minor correction to your last post. The Dukes won't just "keep an eye" on Hughie. They'll keep 8 eyes on him. That boy's a mess of trouble.
  15. *loud snoring* (lucky for Daisy, Roger is napping and unable to respond to her post)
  16. One Day at a Time
  17. copper
  18. *looks at Luke and smiles* "It looks like the sheriff over there is going to be on hold awhile. That wouldn't happen if he was talking to someone here in Hazzard. Us Hazzard folks have too much respect for him to make him wait." *notices Luke doesn't smile* "Luke?...... Luke?"
  19. I don't think I'd like Hughie as Boss either. Boss had a lovable soft side but Hughie's just rotten to the core...too rotten for my tastes.
  20. I like your idea Daisy. That youngster needs to be taught a lesson. I mean, it was okay for me to say I was old but he shouldn't have agreed with me. Right after my nap, I'm teaching that kid a lesson in being more respectful to his elders. I'd better write myself a note and put it on the medicine cabinet so I don't forget.
  21. Close enough to be right Daisy. It's "The Dukes in Hollywood" Cletus sees the General Lee drive away at the beginning of this episode and that's the last we see of Bo and Luke for the rest of the ep.
  22. weightlifter
  23. I don't know if this fits under the catagory "the usual" or not but I would suggest that you just be you. Be true to yourself and don't let anybody change you.
  24. American Flag
  25. Hey Daisy, did Garrett just call me old? ROFL
