Welcome to Hazzard County RobL. I'll have to check that out. Here's an idea, get an extension cord and put your TV and DVD player out in your driveway and jump your General over the TV while the TV is showing the real General Lee making a jump. You might have to try it a few times before you get the timing right. YEEEHHAWWWW!!! We hope you start posting on the other threads too. It's always nice to see a new face in town.

Congratulations to October's Fan of the Month, B.L. Davenport. B.L. is certainly one of the most high profile members on the HazzardNet. She has been here in town for 3 and a half years and has been a fan of the show for over two decades. You can travel on just about any street here on the HN and you'll discover some sign that B.L. has already been there. She has posted her wisdom on nearly every thread imaginable and the HN is a better place because of it. All tolled, B.L. is approaching the 3,000 post mark, averaging nearly 1,000 per year. B.L. has been a regular on the trivia threads as long have they have existed and can often be found in the chat room with one or more of her many friends. She has been active in several fanfics including "Wanted: Dead or Alive", "B.L. Comes Home" and "T'was the Night Before Christmas in Hazzard". She is a genuine country girl who's favorite singers are the likes of Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, The Oak Ridge Boys and Alabama. The quote she has at the bottom of all her posts is "Reality can be beaten with enough imagination." While this is a great quote that certainly applies to our favorite show, the reality here on the HN is that we can't imagine a nicer person than B.L......or one more deserving to be Fan of the Month. Congratulations B.L. Davenport!!!

The Official Dukes of Hazzard Trivia Thread

Okay, it's been 24 hours so I'll eliminate two. The answer is NOT A or B. -
I Wanna Talk About Me (Toby Keith) (I'm responding to What I Love About Sundays)

Ya have to be difficult don't ya Meadowmuffin. I still don't have my answer. So, when you rattled off the word Sadie were you thinking about Sadie Hogg? If so, you get a point. If not, you don't get a point. If you don't remember, then you don't get a point. If I'm going to banned from HazzardNet unless I give you a point, then you get a point. I think I've made my point here.

glue (kids don't build model cars much anymore but it was the first thing I thought of)

Give me a second. I'll get bloodhounds, metal detectors and search lights and help you folks look for it. Where's the last place you saw it?

The Official Dukes of Hazzard Trivia Thread
RogerDuke replied to Meadowmufn's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
B.L., texasdaisy09, Bo, Daisy and daisyxenos all got it right. From "The Law and Jesse Duke" who's phone number is 555-4809? A) Duke farm Hazzard Courthouse C) Boar's Nest D) Rosco E) Boss -
Well Meadowmuffin, if you named your dog because of Sadie Hogg then it's worth a point. If you named your dog Sadie without thinking about Sadie Hogg at the time, then it's not worth a point. Bo, please refer to my previous posts for an explanation as to why I decided to be flexible to the folks who were unable to travel. If you made personal and financial sacrifices to go to DukesFest then that's awesome but not everybody was able to. Remember, this is just for fun. Don't be too competitive...LOL
-
Well now I suppose I'll probably hear from people who lived close enough but couldn't afford to go. If that applies to anybody, go ahead and give yourself a point. In my case, I could have afforded to go to DukesFest but I just hate to travel so I'm not going to give myself a point.
-
Well dukefan, since there's no money or prizes involved here and since us folks here in Hazzard County is a bunch of generous people, I'll give you those two points. I will probably be just as generous to anybody else in your boat if they ask.....And if anybody is critical of me for being so generous, I'll just hand them a map and show them where dukefan lives. I suppose I might get a complaint that other people have traveled a long ways to see DukesFest but if anybody has a problem with that, they can just send you a check to pay for all your expenses if there's a DukesFest (or similiar gathering) in 2010.

I know. I could never argue with logic like that so you win this time. Don't get used to it though....LOL
