  1. Well, I can see why everybody loves meeting Sonny Shroyer so much. Sonny is as genuine as they come. DaisyMaeDuke, who has met him several times, said it best: "He makes everybody who meets him feel like they're the most important fan in the world." That's an understatement. Not only does he make you feel like you're his most valuable fan, he makes you feel like you're a member of his family, a long lost friend and a citizen of Hazzard County. A skeptical person might point out "Well, he is an actor after all" but I'll gaurantee that anybody who's ever met him wouldn't say that. Now, I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but I do know human nature and I pride myself in being a good judge of character and I'd bet the farm that Sonny is one of the most down-home, loving, friendly, loyal, thoughtful actors to ever walk the streets of Hollywood. It doesn't take too long after talking to him to feel his genuine love of his fellow human beings. He put a smile on the face of every single fan who met him and made everyone feel like they were his personal friend. There's not a whole lot of heroes left in Hollywood but Sonny Shroyer tops the shrinking list of the few that still exist. For that, he has my admiration and respect. He is certainly deserving of respect since he gives so much respect to others. In addition to meeting Sonny, I also had the pleasure of seeing DaisyMaeDuke and TimDuke again. Also, I talked extensively with Ray Kohn of "Northeast Ohio Dukes". Ray has jumped General Lees five different times and was displaying a General that he jumped over a bus (by the looks of it, it was a horrendous crash, Khee Khee!!) He was also displaying one of his Hazzard County patrol cars that was detailed to look exactly like the real McCoy.

  3. What a great day today was!! Sonny Shroyer is awesome! I can see why everybody who meets him loves him so much. It's been a long day so I'll post more tomorrow about his appearance in Canton Ohio.
  4. King (If he ain't the King of hockey I don't know who is...plus he played for the L.A Kings)
  5. Was it because Brian Coltrane said "I'm buying!" and Boss knew he had just robbed the bank over in Chickasaw County?
  6. Toronto Argonauts!! (I knew a guy who played for them back when Doug Flutie was their QB)
  7. Look at the bright side Garrett. All of us folks out here enjoying our freedom are in great danger of unjustly being thrown in jail for no reason whatsoever by moderators who are completely devoid of compassion or any sense of fairness. At least in there you don't have to constantly look over your shoulder wondering if you're going to be their next innocent victim. By the way, are those chipped beef cookies getting stale?

  9. I can't help you GaylordDuke but I want to welcome you to the HazzadNet. We sure hope you stay after you get those questions answered because you sure sound like somebody who belongs here!!

  13. Well I'm not too worried about Chet being interested in Emma. I'm worried about Emma being interested in Chet. Rumor is that she asked Chet in the post office (after he took a number of course) what his helmet size was. Later she was seen in Rhuebottoms buying a helmet that same size. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. I think she's getting ready to ask him out on a dirt bike date.
  14. mailman (LOL That was a good response Jami. A guy named Chet used to be my mailman and that's all I could think of)

  16. Even Emma Tisdale? It sounds like Uncle Jesse has some competition.
  17. I'm impressed Bo. After I logged off I remembered "Bye Bye Boss" but didn't think of any of the others. I can't believe I didn't think of "Go West Young Dukes" since I love that episode so much. Hey, having someone else ask questions is fun.
  18. B.L. GeneralLeeGirl and daisyxenos got the lawyer one right. The real Jim Bronke was on the HazzardNet once. It's possible it could have been a hoax but they guy sounded pretty believable to me. He said that his friend worked on the Dukes set and thought it would be cool if he put his friend's name on the sign. I'll guess three episodes B.L. but I can only think of the name of one. The Rustlers.
  19. Aha! More proof that Chet is an undercover lawman (Thy're always real quick to sarcastically deny it)
  20. GeneralLeeGirl, texasdaisy and Daisy got it right. A grandmother making counterfeit five dollars bills?! Only in Hazzard County!
  21. Tim, DaisyMaeDuke is planning on making the trip on Sunday also. Please post it in case there is a problem and he doesn't show up. I doubt that will happen but if it does you would save me a 2.5 hour trip. She has a 5 hour trip so I'm sure she would appreciate it too. Hopefully I'll see you there. Tim, go up to the "Introduce Yourself" thread. Somebody named nzlotusman has a question about the General Lee.
  22. Hi Tim. I see you're logged on right now. I'm planning on coming Sunday. Will you be there both days? If he cancels out for any reason I would appreciate it if you could post it or send me a PM and save me a long trip. Did you see the question on the "Introduce Yourself" thread about the General from nzlotusman?

  23. Hey there nzlotusman!! Welcome to Hazzard County. Hopefully TimDuke or TomBo will see this. They'd know. Maybe you should post it on the General Lee thread down toward the bottom. That might catch their eye if one of them logs on anytime soon.
  24. Congratulations B.L. I'll meet ya at the Boar's Nest to celebrate. I'm buying. How's buttermilk with a little 10W40 mixed in sound? Hopefully Daisy will put it in a clean glass this time.
  25. I heard that Jude Emery retired and moved to Argentina. Maybe there's an opening for a Texas Ranger. How's your Texas accent? You wouldn't really need a uniform since you'd be working undercover. Hey, I just had a thought. Maybe Chet is already an undercover ranger but is just pretending to be an outlaw to throw us all off.
