Hopefully the contest will be bigger and better in 2010. So far there are two winners for 2009. Hopefully another winner or two will check in before New Year's. Everybody has a week to enter the 2010 contest. I'd rather have a lot of participants with easy to keep (but not too easy) resolutions..........than to have only a few participants with complicated impossible to keep resolutions. Give it a try. Ya can't win if ya don't play. It doesn't cost anything and you might even improve your life. I'll be the first to submit a resolution. Since my competitive nature of wanting to do well in this contest helped me to keep my last resolution of meeting some personal financial goals I am submitting the same resolution for 2010. Remember, you don't have to go into any detail at all about your resolution. You can just say "It's personal". You DO have to be honest and tell us if you kept it or not.

YEEHHHHHHAAAA!!! I got my second Dukes present tonight. My in-laws got me a copy of Rosco's book, "Best in Hollywood". Apparently those strong hints work on occasion. It looks like the kind of book you can't put down once you start reading. I'm not sure when I'll start it but I've already checked out the 150+ pictures that he put in there. James Best is a living legend and a national treasure. We love you Rosco!!

Happy birthday Meadowmufn!!!!! Just because you're 21 now doesn't give you a license to be irresponsible. When you head out to the Boar's Nest make sure you have a designated creek jumper in case you drink too much buttermilk. If you can't find anybody, call me on the C.B. and I'll run you home.

Merry Christmas everybody!!!!!! I got my orange 01 hat this morning. I'm wearing it right now. Hey, I even have 01 at the end of my posts this morning. I still have two more parties to go to so I'm hoping for James Best's book. Hopefully my hints were strong enough that I'll score. I gave the ISBN number to my wife with instructions on where to order it. I guess that's a pretty strong hint. LOL I hope everybody else gets a Dukes present. Don't forget the reason for the season.

Welcome back Val. I've missed you and have been wondering what happened to you. I don't have any idea what conflict you're posting about but I sure hope you and the others involved get things patched up. This certainly is the season for forgiveness and reconciliation. Don't panic if you can't be here at 6:00 EST. This party will last late into the night so even if you show up at 10:00 EST you're not going to be late. I suspect that the party will be rated..... G from 6-8..... PG from 8-10..... PG13 from 10-11.... R from 11-midnight...... after that, I'm logging off 'cause you kids will be gittin' too wild fer my tastes.

On Tuesday December 22 at 9:00 pm EST I would like to get together with anyone who might be interested in the chat room. At 9:15 it would be nice if we could put "The Great Santa Claus Chase" (season 3) in our DVD players and press play at the same time. We can then chat about the episode as we watch it. This idea to watch an episode together was proposed by BoJamesDuke awhile back and it's a blast. I'm not sure if it was Bo's idea originally but it sure is a good one. Later, I will be posting a few trivia questions about that episode so if you can't watch it then, watch it sometime soon to test your trivia knowledge. ......Watch a Dukes episode and there will be a test afterward.... Why couldn't school have been this fun back when I went?!
