"Goooooooooollllyyy" is something often said by Gomer Pyle not Denver Pyle.

I agree that it's been stuck for awhile. Should we do something to change that like campaigning or could that create hard feelings? BoJames campaigned against Jesse but that didn't hurt my feelings because I like BoJames so much and she could never make me mad no matter what she did. The problem is that it's possible that other people could get their feelings hurt if their favorite character is being conspired against whether it would be in public or via PMs. Does anybody think we should end it here and call it quits? If not, what can we do to get out of this rut? Let's hear some suggestions. Maybe we shouldn't change a thing and just let it run it's course. So what if it goes on forever. It might be fun to see how long it can last. If somebody doesn't like that plan, they can just drop out. Any other thoughts and ideas?

Seven years of filming the Dukes of Hazzard left us with the best DVD collection ever.

I went to a local carnival here in northwestern Pennsylvania tonight and had my orange 01 hat on. One of the guys running the rides got a big smile on his face and pulled out his cell phone and played his General Lee horn ringer. We struck up a conversation and come to find out he logs on to the HazzardNet all the time but has never registered. He even knew yours truly and was familiar with the trivia threads. He also said that his father used to be a member of our HazzardNet family but sadly passed away. He couldn't remember what his screen name was but remembered that it ended in 69 since his dad was such a big fan of a certain 1969 Dodge Charger. It's always cool to meet new Dukes of Hazzard fans. I don't know why I haven't been wearing my 01 hat everywhere I go but after the great conversation I had with this fine young Dukes fan, I'm going to now. He is temporarily without internet access but plans on getting it again soon and logging in. I hope we hear from the "Fireman" soon.

Well the best part of the race is usually the last half hour so hopefully I'll get home in time.

I know how you feel about the reunion show. For me, it was too sad to see Jesse looking so bad, especially with all three of the younger Dukes gone, leaving him to himself. I suspect a writer never consulted with the fans on that show because a fan would have never left Jesse alone in that condition if they were writing a reunion show. The plot was good besides that though so I have to give the writers some credit. I cried like a baby when Rosco did a tribute to Boss on the reunion show. When I met James Best in January of 2008 I told him how hard that scene was on me. He got very emotional when I said that. If it was that rough on the fans I can only imagine how rough it was on him. By the way, James Best has been in our chat room here on the HazzardNet and has also posted stuff too. Scroll down to his forum to see some of his posts.

hazzardboy7, We've had a few folks on here who's favorite character was Boss Hogg but I don't think any of them are actively posting now. It's nice to have someone here who holds Boss in such high regards. He was such a vital part of the show. So vital in fact, that the show's very existence depended on him. I never met Sorrell either but he was certainly an amazing man and an unbelievably talented actor. When you throw three veterans like Sorrell, Denver and James Best into something and combine them with three fresh exciting newcomers....add to that supporting actors like Ben Jones, Sonny Shroyer, Rick Hurst and Peggy Rae, almost any show could succeed. Dukes succeeded beyond any of the (so called) experts expectations because of Guy Waldron and all the writers, producers and stunt people....and it was the kind of entertainment people wanted. Because everybody loves the four members of the Duke family so much, we sometimes forget how vital Boss is to the show. Without him, it wouldn't have even existed. By the way, I bet another of your favorites episodes was "Baa Baa White Sheep"

Congratulations Bo!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud of you. You're such an awesome person and I couldn't be happier!! When I first came to the HazzardNet, you were the first person who befriended me and I'll always appreciate it. This old website is a much better place because of folks like you. Now, this old world will be a better place because you'll be heading out into it and putting your education to work!! I have a big smile on my face right now because you've made the whole HazzardNet family proud! (just don't expect us to be sending out any expensive graduation presents)
