  1. daisyxenos got all three right. Which of these were on the show? Hound Dog Lake or Coon Hound Swamp Virginia City or Tullahoma (episode names) The New Dukes or Goodbye Coy and Vance

I went to a Blue Jays game once. Roger Clemens had 16 strike outs. I had fun yelling "Roger, Roger, Roger!" with every strike out. (not that I like that name or anything) Also, I was only a few seats away from catching a Jose Canseco foul ball. The day before, we went up in the CN tower and saw what the stadium looked like with a game going on and the roof open. It's a view I'll never forget.
  3. Shucks, it looks like I'm a day late for pi day. Ya got any leftovers? I'm so hungry right now I could eat 3.14 pieces. Of course if you did the math, I'm sure you'd find out that the circumference of my belly would get even larger if I 8 that much.
  4. Welcome to Hazzard County T.J. We always enjoy it when a new cousin rides into town. We only have two rules here on the HazzardNet. I'll try to keep them simple. 1) Never make fun of Roger Duke. 2) Make fun of everybody else.

Baseball is in pre-season. March Madness is getting ready to start. The NBA and NHL playoffs will be here before you know it. And of course, NASCAR is starting another season with everybody chasing J.J. Post your feelings here for sports and please be respectful of other people's teams. (Of course I had to add that because I like the worst team in baseball, the Pittsburgh Pirates)...okay, you folks can make fun of the Pirates a little bit if you want to. By the way, does anybody know which forum that NASCAR thread is located?
  6. texasdaisy, GeneralLeeGirl and daisyxenos got it right. All this talk about NASCAR lately (on the "belt buckle" thread) prompted me to ask another NASCAR question. Which episode mentioned these stars and showed footage of them racing? Richard Petty, Bobby Allison, Darrell Waltrip, Ricky Ruud, Buddy Baker, Cale Yarborough, Bill Elliott Hint: The answer is NOT "Cale Yarborough Comes To Hazzard" or "Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough." I suppose this question should be on the "Name That Episode" thread but I'm sure you folks won't mind.
  7. He likes Dale Jr. Come to think of it I really don't know why. I'm not kidding about him being obsessed though. I bet it would be tough to find a question he didn't have the answer to. I wonder if any NASCAR car was ever an orange 01 since 1979 when the show first came out. I doubt it would be a copyright infringment unless you named it the General Lee. I mean, nobody has exclusive rights to colors and numbers, not even Warner Brothers. An orange 01 car would make me get into NASCAR. That or Cale Yarborough coming out of retirement. Does he have a son or grandson? Maybe I'll see if my friend wants to get on the HazzardNet and run the old NASCAR thread that Darell used to run.
  8. My dream vehicle is an old, dirty, white, Ford F-150 pick-up truck like Uncle Jesse drives. I suppose I wouldn't have to win the lottery to get one so I probably will someday. In the meantime, if any of you folks hit the lottery and buy your dream vehicle and want to get rid of your old, dirty, white, Ford F-150 pick-up truck, let your Uncle Roger know.
  9. Lizzy, texasdaisy, GeneralLeeGirl and daisyxenos got it right. What is the punch line of this Rosco joke? "What did one casket say to the other casket?
  10. LOL I knew I'd take a few hits on that one. I really have made an honest effort to get into NASCAR but since there's so many other things to do in life it's tough. On the weekends I usually spend time with my eight year old grandson. I now have two more grandsons (1 year old and 9 months old) so when my older grandson gets old enough that he thinks hanging out with grandpa isn't cool anymore, the younger ones will be taking up a lot of my weekend time. If it weren't for that, I really would try to get into it. I have a friend who is a NASCAR fanatic so I actually do know a lot about it since he's obsessed with it and I'm a person who's naturally inquisitive. I wish there was an 01 car. I imagine every single NASCAR driver is a Dukes of Hazzard fan to some degree or another so I'm surprised the big name drivers don't fight for that number. How do they pick the car number anyways?
  11. I was just reviewing some old threads and stumbled across this one. I'm surprised nobody mentioned Jude Emery's vehicle. I'm not real crazy about the flowers on it but I'd love to own a machine like that. Overall, I'm not really a "car guy". I used to be when I was younger but these newer vehicles don't have as much personality and they're impossible to work on unless you're a computer expert. I still haven't outgrown dirt bikes though. I love every episode that has them on.
  12. She's Like the Wind (Patrick Swayze)
  13. LOL You can never watch Dukes too much. golduster360, I CAN'T relate to you about noticing the belt buckles but I can relate as far as noticing other things that nobody else probably does. (Well, they probably notice but not enough to get excited about it.) Of course those things I notice are because I like them. I wrote down every episode that shows the Dukes cutting or splitting firewood because I like doing that myself so much. I also wrote down other things I like, for example, wild medicinal herbs, the times they camped out, working in the fields, etc. That's one reason I like Dukes so much, I can relate to them so well.....now if I could just get into NASCAR. I try but just can't seem to get excited about it for some reason. Shhh, don't tell Bo and Luke.

*wipes sweat from forehead from worrying so much* Please don't tell me that she's riding a wheelie all the way to Atlanta on her dirt bike or I'll start worrying again.
  15. I'm Red, White and Blue (Loretta Lynn) (This was a clever song because Loretta is part Native American, caucasion and sad)

Easy now Garrett. Choose your words carefully. An old feller like me can't take much of a shock to his system ya know. (Better yet, don't say any more at all) LOL

I know what you mean Lukas KD. It's a good thing Hazzard County is real. Otherwise folks would think I'm about a half bubble off plum.

Thanks for setting me straight on that Lori. I forgot that his name was Aang, I was thinking his name was Avatar. My mistake. I'm not even sure what the word Avatar means. I'd never heard that word until a few years ago when that cartton came out. Now I wonder if they'll still call Aang an Avatar in the movie or if they won't because the movie Avatar has rights to the word. All I know is, my Uncle Jesse avatar has them both beat.
  20. GeneralLeeGirl, texasdaisy and daisyxenos got that one right. Luke saves Boss just before a bomb goes off when Boss is giving a speech on the gazebo in the middle of Hazzard Square.
  21. I Don't Care if the Sun Don't Shine (Elvis-coincidently he recorded that when he started out with Sun records)
  22. texasdaisy, daisyxenos and B.L. got that one right. I love that quote. Here's another "Complete that Quote". It's from Bo on the episode "Deputy Dukes" when a mobster was trying to pay them to let him get away. "We're country boys. We don't use no money. We just barter our way through life. Ya know, if you was to offer us a bushel of ________ there ain't no telling what I might do for ya." A) oats wheat C) potatoes D) tomatoes E) corn F) turnips
  23. Might as Well be Walking on the Sun (Is that Smash Mouth?)
  24. I think the Dollar General Store in Chickasaw has them. Is that a long drive from Hawaii?
  25. When The Sun Goes Down (Kenny Chesney)
